Hello all...I have just recently replaced all the dash/instrument lights in my '92 previa GL..the instrument cluster has 4 retaining screws to remove ( after you take off the heater/radio surround and the cowling over the intrument cluster) and then you gently pull the whole unit toward the steering wheel, be careful as it is attached to a steel wire underneath, so that you don't pull all the wires out of the back !!Reach behind or get out and have a look through the screen and you will find 3 large, 1/4 turn, bulb holders. A gentle twist and pull out reveals a D501 pattern bulb...I have replaced mine with BLUE NEON ones from Halfords ( �6.99 a pair ) and they look absolutely wicked.I then went on to replace the heater, cigar lighter and ashtray bulbs with blue 'pea' led's ( they work one way round and not the other...trial and error but you can't blow the bulbs..).The only ones that I haven't been able to source in blue yet are the real tiny ones that fit in the various switches...I'll post again once I find some or solve the problem in some other way.If anyone knows where I might get some...? Please let me know.

Hey Lisa==If it started when the plugs were installed they could be the wrong brand or gap, or the wires and rotor and cap could need replaced. GoodluckJoe A common mistake for this happening after the plugs were installed and the car ran fine beforehand is that the plug wires were put back on the wrong cylinders. If you check all that and it all checks out good, you might have bad gas.

You might want to check the fuse box in the engine compartment. My headlamps would turn off at random, sometimes while driving. I used to open the hood and shut it and they would come back on. Then I figured out that there was something loose at the fuse box in the engine compartment and jiggling the wires solved the problem for good.

Its under the Passenger side glove box. You got to sqeeze under the dash, undo two screws and disconnect power supply it will be in your hands. Follow reverse order to fit the new Resistor.

or a 16x 6.5 tire sizes would be a P205/70R/15, P215/60R/16, or a P225/60R16

if it is in fact the starter, it is probably engaging the flywheel. starter may be faulty.

no this is not a computer problem.it is either a starter motor problem or the ring gear on flywheel is worn

Is hose coming from the core hot also? If not, core may be plugged. I assume the system has always be full of coolant.Good luck

test your fuel system turn your key to the on position under the hood by the throttle body is fuel line and a test point remove the cap and press the vaulve down if the fuel preesure is good it will shoot up in the air to test the spark pull a spark plug wire from the plug and put a old spark plug in the wire hold the wire by the block and have someone turn the engine over and look for spark if there is no spark check your coil pack if there is no fuel pressure check the fuel filter and fuel pump. Also, I would check your ECM batt fuse in the engine compartment. I replaced my fuel pump only to find out that instead of spending $80 on this part, I could have instead looked for a short somewhere in the wires and replaced the $.50 fuse.

if it's accesible take a hammer and punch to the outer edge of the plug and tap inward. this should roll the opposite side out towards you so you can get hold of to remove. If no room to tap the new one in they make one that can be put in the hole and tighten the nut on it to expand the rubber plug that fits tightly in the hole

The lights will automatically turn off in the day time. Automatically turn on at night. they are controlled by a light sensor, it determines if you need the lights or not.

If the lights go on and off randomly not matter what the light conditions are, you may need to have a mechanic check out your light sensor.

Still under warranty. Take it to the dealer.

The blower motor is most likely under the dash on the passenger side , there are 3 little bolts and the back bolt isn't easy to get to but you'll need patience and it will come out. Just take a deep breath and exhale slowly, You can do it! bratt

Resistor is a separate unit from the blower motor

I am not sure when this change occurs in your car but if the mirror control switch is not set to the center position, both mirrors are programmed to dip when the transmission is put into reverse to assist in backing up visibility( at least on the 2001 model).

it is probably in the blower motor, at least that is where it is on the 1995 truck. take out glove blox/ remove black metal cover behind glove box. It is the white connector in plain site..

I would suggest replacing it if someome stole it - otherwise if your car is young -look for causes of poor spark operations in the plug wires and related spark supply components. Usually, a distributor needs to be replaced when it is worn or malfunctioning and repair or rebuild of the distributor in no longer possible, or would cost more than replacing it.

About the only way to clear your name is for the loan to be paid off. If the car goes to the repo man, you're liability and credit history are still involved.

how to remove a engine in a 1999 Pontiac grand prix 3.8L

the spark plugs on a 106 should be in the top of the engine on earlyer models you should see 4 leads conected to them. a later model may not have ignition leads but a sort of ignition pack on top of the engine. the plugs would be under this.

Measure what you have now, I have a 2003 z71 Tahoe and i measured the wheel diameter to be about 32". the thing that really matters is the width and the offset on the wheels
