How do you change the front speakers on a 1995 Honda Accord?
There are some screws on the door panel. One in the hand rail, one behind the door handle and one on the inside of the door next to the mirror. After removing the screws the door panel will remove with some force the door panel is clipped in. Make sure not to pull too hard, you have to unclip the wireing harness that controls the windows door locks etc. After you have removed the wireing harness,s and the door panel is completely off you can then remove the front speakers by taking the srcews out.
You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, I got them from Amazon for 16 bucks but you save a lot of time and you don't mess the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.
How do you say you are pretty?
It depends on who you're telling it to. Say you look nice or you look lovely or you look beautiful. Or you can just say you look pretty or can smile and be happy with him.

Why does the Manifold over heat?
The manifold has no way of overheating, it's a piece of metal if its glowing red then the exhaust may be plugged up, or the engine timing is retarded, or you have an ignition misfire. Everyone should have a manual for their vehicle (parts store or dealer), and a local library should have professional shop manuals available in the REFERENCE section for free.
How do you replace the alternator on a 1988 Honda Accord LX?
Take the motor mounts off and take it out of the wheel well of ht driver side
AnswerI did not remove mine. Instead, I replaced the brushes with the alternator still in place. It was a lot cheaper and easier. AnswerTake the motor mounts off lift it up a few inches and take it out the wheel well of the driver side AnswerThe dealership also told me that they drop the driveshaft to do this. I elected to pay the benjamins and have the dealer do the work--$250 for the rebuilt alternator (OEM), and about $140 for labor, plus shop materials and usual dealership added charges that I hate paying but prefer the warranty if I'm going to pay anybody to work on my car. Grand total, $402.00. AnswerHere are the full directions!!! It's not that hard.Well, this is what I did: Disconnect the Battery, Loosen the water pump pulley bolts, Loosen the bolts that adjust the Alternator belt tension, Remove the belt, Remove the top alternator bracket, Remove the wires from the alternator, Jack the car up and support with Jack Stands for safety, Turn the wheels all the way to the left, Under the car, Remove the lower bolt on the alternator, Move the alternator towards the passenger side enough so you can remove the lower Alternator bracket, Then I removed the lower motor mount (2 nuts) on the crossmember, Then I removed (from above) the 1 nut on the front motor mount, Then I totally removed the driver's side motor mount (3 bolts), Next use a bottle jack with a piece of wood on top to push the motor up (I placed the jack under the oil pan), Get someone to help you, Have them watch your power steering lines while you jack the motor up about 3-4 inches, Then go under the car by the drivers side wheel and have your partner use a pry bar to move the motor forward in the engine bay about 1/2 inch. The Alternator should come right out. This may sound like a pain, but it's not too hard, besides, it saves you about $300!!! The hardest part is at the beginning loosening the Alternator tension, small hands work best! Good luck, I hope I helped!
My Answer1. Disconnect battery2. Remove Air Cleaner (4 clips and slide up and out)
3. Remove Air Cleaner Box (2 10mm bolts and low clip)
4. Remove Alternator tension bolt, move belt out of the way
5. Remove Alternator pivot bolt, lower part of Alternator
,6. Disconnect wire clip from back of Alternator
7. Slide Alternator back towards firewall and were the Air Box was. Ta Da
8. Disconnect wires, left Alternator straight up and out.
Install in reverse order (8-1)
This worked for me. Remember to safety first.
the easy answerafter searching the internet i found no easy way so i found my own way i have a 1988 Honda accord lx-ifuel injection automatic and just replaced my alternator, standing on the drivers side, faceing the passangers side looking down towards the bottom of the motor you see the alternator, un bolting it was easy, but then we couldn't get it out of the tight location it was in, so i simply still standing at the same spot took the air filter, air filter houseing cover, out then took the two bolts out of the top of the air filter houseing leaveing two hoses top and bottom disconnecting right at the air filter houseing then pulling it right up out of your way, allowing the alternator to come right out, to make it even easier take care of the air filter first. What does it mean when the letter S in green on the dash stays on?
In an automatic, like mine, it means that you have pressed the button on the side of the shifter to enable "sport mode." Basically, the computer will allow each gear to run at a higher RPM before shifting, resulting in better performance when accelerating. You could argue that this will also decrease your gas mileage because you are causing the engine to work harder than in has to, but I'm not sure exactly how much the fuel efficiency suffers.
Does the 2003 Honda Accord 4-cylinder have an interference engine?
Yes. Your engine DOES have an interference engine. I think all Hondas do (or at least all the ones I have looked up!). You can go to www.napaonline.com to search for this, or on any other vehicle, as you view the timing components parts. If it shows a timing belt instead of a timing chain, it will also list whether it is an interference engine, or a NON-interference engine.
How do you raise the idle on a 1993 Honda Accord LX?
its a small hidden screw on the side of the throttle body, open the hood and look in the back of the engine compartment, on the left a couple of tubes come out, behind them is a hole that should have a rubber plug. Pull out the plug and you'll see a flat head screw; turn it to adjust the Idle speed to the specified rpms.
because the light is the indicator that the transmission has locked into place, if it doesnt then the transmission will give you hell...
Do you turn counter-clockwise to loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt on Honda Civic EX '95?

It sounds like the ground for the parking/turn signal circuit is bad on the damaged side. You mentioned sufficient power to all lights, I assume this applies to the parking/turn signals too. If this is not the case check the main fuse box for disconnected, pulled-out connections. Hope this helps,
This happened with my car. It sucked! All I can say is I had to replace it with a used one ($50 or so) and it been fine ever since, and that was a couple of years ago. I'd be surprised if you could get a new one. To do this you need to remove the instrument panel cover. To do that you remove four torx screws (two above steering wheel and one in the top of each vent) and it will pop out from the clips that hold it in place. Four more torx screws, and two wire harnesses later you should be good. Not to hard at all. This happened with my car. It sucked! Where exactly is the transmission computer TCU located on a 92 Mitsubishi Diamonte?
uh..page 122 I think... ...everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available for FREE to make copies of...read up and repair like a PRO! Dave :) -------------------------
Thanks, Dave, but I'm pretty sure he was asking where it's located in the car. ;-) Besides, I have the shop manual for the Diamante and the TCU isn't even mentioned.
I'll assume that your car has the LS trim level (DOHC engine), but I doubt it's in a different place for the ES (SOHC engine). The TCU itself is located clear under the back of the console, in the center near the firewall. The easiest way I've found to get to it is to pull back the carpet on either side of the center console (in the area where your feet go). Get on the floor and look toward the front of the car through the new holes you created; you should see a gold box lying horizontally (if you're looking from the passenger side, you'll see the wiring harnesses as well).
Getting to it could be a bit of a pain, though: it's not exactly meant to be removed. First, of course, make sure you disconnect the car's battery, and grab a light -- there's not much of it where you'll be working. There's a bit of metal frame behind the carpet that you've pulled back; you'll have to remove that on both sides to get to the computer (there are two or three screws on each piece, which is less than a foot long). You can proceed from here in one of two ways: either undo the bolts on the bottom of the mounting bracket and take out only the computer, or undo the one bolt on the floor and the two bolts behind the TCU on the wall and remove the bracket with it. Either way, you have to work from both sides to get it out. Once everything's unbolted and the wiring harness unplugged, press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and pull the TCU out on the driver's side (if you left the bracket bolted in, you'll have to lift the computer slightly to free the bolts from the bracket).
