Is homosexuality a choice?

While there are countless opinions on this topic, and endless debate, there is no scientific evidence to support any answer currently other than, no, it is not a choice.

Virtually all gay people in the world believe they did not choose to be gay. In fact, most gay people spend a portion of their lives hiding it, or trying to deny it. Gay people face huge stigma, persecution, and denial of human rights, so there isn't a logical reason why anyone would choose to be gay.

Why do some people talk when they are dreaming?

Because they don't take the time to assimilate from the day before going to sleep. To rest requires a clean slate. An exercise to turn this around is to write out your thoughts prior to bed, yes, all of them. From this, decide what you want to appreciate and what you want to change, then release this.

What do anaroxic people eat?

whoever thought that this would be a good question is extreamly stupid!! but i will answer it anyway....anaroxic people usually try to stay away from foods with a lot of calories. examples of foods are: apples, carrots, beans, radishes, tea, water, and any diet sodas. some of these foods are called negative calorie food because the human body uses up calories to digest food and if the food takes more calories to digest than are actually in the food so the net gain of calories is negative, i hope next time whoever asked this question will not ask such stupid questions!

How does a shy girl who is emotionally immature act around her more mature crush?

I'm not too sure you want to have to act differently to get a guy's attention, it's such a drag, because if he does fall for you then he falls for a slightly altered you, and then you'll have to keep up this facade for however long which will become boring and aggravating for you.

the best thing about this question is that you recognise there's a difference in maturity between you and him, which indicates to me that you may actually be more mature than you credit yourself!

Just be yourself, and if you two don't click quite as hoped then it never would have worked anyway in the long run.

Happy hunting!

How do young teens with Celiac fair at making and keeping friends?

  • Having Celiac Disease has nothing to do with one's social life. Celiac Disease is an autoimmune system disorder where the body can not tolerate gluten (bran; rye; oats and wheat.) Having Celiac Disease is no different than having bad allergies that one has to control. Although the diet is very strict there are many products such as pizza; hamburger buns, etc., that can be bought at different stores and the U.S. has a good variety of gluten-free products. Also a great many restaurants now have a gluten-free menu so teens can ask the waitress if they have a gluten-free menu or, choose foods such as salads; chicken without sauces; no gravies or white sauces, but they could have steak; pasta that is made from corn or rice; Tacos (Celiac people can eat corn products.) Celiac Disease is extremely common and more and more families are going gluten-free even though they do not have Celiac Disease. A teen should not feel they are left out or thought of as having some disease that can transferred to other people and knowledge is the answer. There is great information on the Internet.

Why are people on the internet so rude and stuborn?

Not all people on the internet are rude and stubborn. Some are genuinely helpful as well. Some people may be rude because the internet offers the shield of anonymity (no one will ever know who they are in real life), and generally there are little to no repercussions for a rude word said online, where as in real life depending on the situation you could get fired or get into some sort of physical altercation. Their normal restraints when communicating with their fellow man/woman may or may not be in place due to this shield.

Can autism be overlooked as a child then be recognized in an adult?

Yes, as understanding of Autism changes diagnosis changes - people who are adults today may not have been recognized as being Autistic as children due to lack of awareness.

I'll offer myself as an example:

I'm diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and was clearly Autistic as a child: developmental delays, non-verbal, regular meltdowns, among other issues. In the 1980's Autism was still considered a 'boys disorder' and few people knew about Autism, thus I was not diagnosed and people didn't know what to make of my behavior. In the 1990's I had fewer issues with Autism, so although autism was better known my problems were not severe enough for people to have realized I was Autistic. In the late 1990's/early 2000's my school insisted I go to therapy due to my behavior, the therapists knew I was Autistic but didn't inform me or my parents, thus diagnosis wasn't made. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 28 years old, and that was only because I was working with disabled children at the time so I went looking for information and realized that I was Autistic.

What is the difference between Chinese and European characters?

Chinese characters are logograms representing whole words or concepts, while European characters are phonograms representing individual sounds. Chinese characters are typically more complex and visually intricate compared to European characters, which are simpler and easier to learn. Additionally, Chinese characters are not based on an alphabet system like most European languages.

Dr Sanchez approaches questions about human behavior from a perspective that emphasizes unconscious thoughts and conflicts within the individual such as inner forces or conflicts It is most likely?

  • Yes, Dr. Sanchez is right along with thousands of other psychologists. The best way to put it (especially in adulthood) is 'in every individual there is a child crying to get out.' This simply means that depending on what unconscious thoughts or conflicts we have experienced in our lives we have forgotten them, but they are always in our subconscious and these memories can come out by certain actions on an individual basis. Example: If a child is brought up in an environment where the family is fairly good towards each other, but once or twice a parent has lost control and beaten that child it is forgotten but can surface when they go to school and thus, they may become a bully. If this doesn't happen then in adulthood this experience can resurface without the person actually knowing the reason why and the person may show bursts of anger at unexpected times.
