Where can you download the Gakuen Alice game in the iPhone?
I dont think you can download it at all. There may be some GA apps floating around, but the game itself isn't available anywhere except japan.
Yes, iPhones are definitely phones. It's in the name. But an iPhone has a lot more functions than a regular phone does. Imagine an iPod Touch with a phone, messaging and picture messaging. There is also a fully functional compass and voice memos. I find the two slightly unnecessary to use on a phone, but their great if you get lost and you can use the voice memos for work. There's better sound than on the iPod Touch and there is voice control if you hold down the "Home" button for about two seconds. There is a camera as well as you can add several apps (some are free, and some you have to pay for).
On the "desktop" you can also check the weather for today, tomorrow and a week from now, keep up with your stocks, access YouTube and there is a Map so you can navigate yourself to places you don't know where are (there's a function where you type in the address you are at and where you want to go and it shows you the way - either walking or by car). There is also a calculator, iTunes and a link to the App Store.
You can also send mail through several different mailing sites (Hotmail is sadly not included, but Gmail is there among others).

Where is a oxygen sensor on a 1997 firebird v6 and wheres the cheapest place to buy a decent one?
a 97 should NOT be having problems with the O2 sensors. but there are many. A couple right behind the manifolds and also on the exhaust pipe. But there could be many other reasons the O2 sensor could be showing up as a problem code. Try running some Lucas injector cleaner through a tank of gas before you change what could be a working sensor. david vol-dolfan@msn.com

There are three chemicals needed to make gunpowder. Potassium Nitrate, Charcoal powder, and Sulfur powder. Mix the chemicals following the 75:15:10 ratio of potassium nitrate:charcoal powder: Sulfur powder. Put the mixture in a ball mill and grind for about two hours (make sure to use lead balls, iron ones might spark and blow you up). That's how you make gunpowder.
One thing that I would like to add to this is that you should add a small amount of alcohol to the mixture to further prevent blowing yourself up. water works also but it doesn't evaporate as fast. You can also use a Mortar and Pestle to grind it.
You can get peter salt at a pharmacy. Charcoal is available pretty much anywhere, just stay away from briquettes and focus on natural charcoal. sulfur is a slightly different matter.
Please be sure to check the laws in your state, city, town or country as New York, New Jersey, Conneticuit, Washington D.C. and other United Staes Of America territories require the Non-Licensee has at least a "Low Explosives Manufacturer License" class 28 to 32 if you make your own powders as a hobbie (model rocket, fireworks, etc.)
Per ATF website you must meet certain requirements such as having a magazine to store your explosive powders in. The explosive mixtures cannot be stored in or near a residential dwellings and must be within a certain distance from the dwellings. Your "Magazine" will need to be inspected and you will be interviewed by an ATF officer or an officer for the state or city you are located.
There are fees and a background check. Although per ATF a person can buy and/or own up to 50lb of commercially made black powder however the "Non-Licensee" cannot be a felon or have a history of mental illness.
Any mixtures containing Nitrates, Acids and/or any other chemicals (Listed on the ATF website) that can produce an explosion after being mixed is considered "Manufacturing Explosives" regardless of the amount (even a mole). A "Low Explosive manufacturer" license is required otherwise the person(s) can be charged/prosecuted in accordance to the currect laws in your city/state ("think 911").
What causes a 2000 Buick La Sabre to vibrate when put in reverse?
Well a couple different factors could be doing that. A couple questions? Does it jump or do you feel the engine jump when you put it from reverse to drive and vice versa? First thought would be MOTOR MOUNTS OR TRANNY MOUNTS. Check those or have a professional check them.

How do you use accelerometer measure tilt angle?
First, you have to make sure you're measuring the right thing. Tilt isn't specific enough. You'll want to measure pitch and / or roll.
Make sure your accelerometer is capable of measuring tilt. Read the datasheets carefully. For example, the ADXL322 is a 2-axis accelerometer which is capable of measuring tilt. The ADXL78 does not repeat NOT have this in the datasheet. You could try to use the 78, but it might not work at all.
You must mount the accelerometer so that the sensitive edges are parallel to the ground. In other words, it has to be lying flat on its back. ("How flat?" It must be as flat as you want your accuracy to be. ) In such a configuration, the chip listed above will give pitch as pitch = arcsin( Ax / 1g) and roll as roll = arcsin( Ay / 1g ). Ax and Ay are the two outputs. Read the datasheet. (I can't stress this enough.)
While you would usually put the - and + outputs into an instrumentation amplifier, the 322 chip listed above does not have such a thing. You would have to run it through some kind of gain circuit, and probably one with an adjustable gain and offset.
I've wondered the same thing and have looked around the net for an answer. I wish I had the ability to create an app for that.
What items are used to send messages in Semaphore code?
Semaphore is transmitted via flags. One is held in each hand. The positions of the arms determine the letter. Semaphore can also be transmitted via paddles or blades on towers.
It's best to wait until you get your prescription as your cycle will be put off track if you start from where you left off.

What does mint condition of an automobile mean?
Really good condition, or in top condition. Mint is English slang for great, or cool. When someone says "mint condition", it means just that.
It is important that you should read see the answer to the Related Question shown below: "Can you plug a US 240v 60Hz appliance into a European 230v 50Hz outlet?".
<><><>
No, sorry. Most US dryers have a 240V heater and a 120V timer and motor. While the heater will work fine, you don't have the 120V supply for the timer and motor. Also the timer will run slow on 50hz if it is not solid state (Most dryers still use motorized timers), as well as the drum turning slow, and the airflow being decreased.
If you have a sufficiently large voltage converter you can make a neutral for it, but you have no way to know how much current the neutral pulls without testing or cracking it open.
You may want to just sell it and buy an Indian dryer.
