Find the vacume line that goes from the transfer case up over the top of the the transmission into the engine compartment on the passenger side in the front and replace it, re-route it through the wheel well as all of them rub on a sharp edge and get a whole in them.(you can actually hear the leak). If that does not do it then replaced the 4x4 transfer switch under the transfer case. Very common problem, they often go bad. I have owned 3 of them and had to do the same thing to all 3. Thanks

I had this similar problem, and i went w/o 4x4 for a year because i thought it was an expensive part. I really wish this was the first thread i read, i went and popped the hood and there it was, the vacuum hose just laying there disconnected from the plug, i plugged it back in and the problem was fixed, thank you very much for the information, it was extremely helpful.

Find the audio-out port on the back of your PC or side of your laptop (usually a green marker with a picture of headphones or sound waves), and plug in headphones or speakers. If you only have the white and red stereo cables, head over to a wal-mart and buy a "Y-Splitter" so that it will fit into the computer and plug your stereo cables into the splitter.

I had the same problem. I also have a cassette deck. I stuck my pinky figer in the deck hole and assisted cassette carriage down, then I pressed the "eject". To my surprise, the radio came on. As you talk of a Holden Astra,I assume you are in Aus?As no one has answered your query,I'll have a go and if I'm wrong,some Aus.answerer will correct me.Pod filter?This I think refers to what we call a cone type air filter on a inlet pipe kit.Certainly not illegal in UK but would be wise to notify insurers due to the percieved performance increase. I personally don't rate these things as you mostly lose the ability to mix cold and warm air to the optimum inlet temperature.When you open the bonnet,it "looks" fast and on the road it "sounds"fast due to increased inlet noise.A standard car with no other mods does not show much improvement against the stopwatch.Mostly bought by "chavs"in the UK.A far better mod is to buy a K&N filter that will fit in the original airbox,these will improve performance and economy depending how you drive.You keep the air mixing facility and the filter lasts forever with routine cleaning and reoiling.
