4.5 quarts depends on what 6 cylinder. The 4.0L takes 6 quarts, the 3.7L holds almost 5 quarts.

The oil pressure sending unit on the 4.7L engine is right above the oil filter.

I think it is 5 quarts. Add 4 quarts and check it. If you change the oil filter then add 5 quarts and check it. The rule of thumb is that a oil filter takes about 1 quart.

I'd check the cooling fan sensor, usually located on the plug in portion where the connector clips into the fan connector. There is usually a thermistor? componet that tells the engine computer that the engine is too hot,thus the fan will continiously run, this can short out or wear out over time. Call an auto parts store to see if they have a replacement. If a replacement ends up costing to much, you can wire the hot and negative wires from the fan to a toggleswitch inside the jeep, and manually turn the fan off and on. If this is the route you choose to go, make sure you get a toggle switch that will safely handle the amperage, and use the correct gauge wiring. You may even be able to find the new toggleswitch that lights up AND beeps when the ignition is shut off to remind you to shut the switch off. Hope this helps

Replace the fuse to a higher amp fuse. Like if the fuse is a 25amp, change it to a 35amp. This will most likely make the problem go away and will not hurt your system. I'd be willing to bet the new unit you bought and installed is rated for a higher amp.

If this does not work, then you will need to remove the lamps and check for a damaged wire or corrosion on the terminals.

Are there any numbers assigned to the specific fuse slots? I have 3 fuse box diagrams for jeep. You would have to look and compare. Found in Chiltons manual,chassis eleclrical,chapter 6. Schematics provided for entire engine electrical also.

The only sucessful way I have experienced is replacement.

There is another way. I detail headlights at used car dealers, what I do is drill a small hole on the lower edge of the light and let the moisture out. Using the lights will eventually evaporate the water. To clean the outside of the lens I product I sell called The CrystaLenz Headlight Restoration Kit.

There is a tab to a retainer clip at the base of the wiper arm hub. Put a screwdriver in between the hub and the tab and pry it away from the hub (It will only move about 1/4 of an inch. You can then pull or pry the wiper arm from the post.
