my relay switch is broken and has gotten my transmission in over drive-did you find the switch?

How do you remove the ignition switch on a 1997 Kia Sepia?

Ignition switch removal is not too bad. The plastic cover around the steering column has 3-4 screws in it. They are on the underside facing the floor. Remove these screws and the plastic cover will snap off. That will expose the ignition switch. The switch itself has a couple of screws holding it in place. Remove those screws and unplug it from the wire harness on the back. That's it.

How does one align the camshaft timing marks on a 1996 Kia Sephia 18 engine?

This is refered as Top Dead Center(TDC). As you face the camshafts, rotate the crankshaft until the letter (I) on the intake canshaft to your left is at the 12 o'clock position lined up with the mark on the top of the engine, at the same time letter (E) on the exhaust camshaft is going to be lined up at the 12 o'clock position also. Then make sure the mark on the crankshaft is line up with the mark on the engine block (12 o'clock also). I recomend you buy a Hanes repair manual for all you vehicles if you like to do some of the work in your cars.

How do you reduce the amount of fuel your engine is taking in a 96 Kia sephia?

A tune up is always appropriate. Make certain that the ignition and injectors are working properly and that the oxygen sensor hasn't worn out. Check with the dealer to find out how often the oxygen sensor should be replaced. Also make sure that the air filter is clean. A tune-up should always include a diagnostic check using a code scanner.

On a 2000 Kia Sephia do you have to remove the intake to remove the alternator?

I doubt it but you need a manual on your car from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM and it will have pictures and everything From what I have read elsewhere, the sephia, like the hondas that used to drive me nuts, require the removal of the lower wheel axle/control arm to remove the alternator. Not sure what year model this applies to and if it has been resolved in the newer designed spectra/sephia. that is completely wrong you can take that fuel line off that runs above the alternator or you can bring it way over near the air box to get it out or just pull the wheel off and the slash guard

Do you have to remove the shaft from the automatic transaxle in order to replace the outer CV boot on a 1990 Grand Am?

You do not have to remove it, but doing so will make the boot replacement a whole lot easier. Being able to clamp the axle in a vice is much nicer than trying to work around the front suspension pieces.

How do you bleed the clutch slave cylinder on a 1995 Honda Civic EX?

1.Make sure the Clutch fluid is full (DOT 3 brake fluid)

2.Get somebody to set in the car and pump the clutch 3 times and hold it to the floor, while they are holding it to the floor back the bleeder out on the slave cylinder until fluid squirts out. After you do this you need to tightin the bleeder back down before you bleed it again.

3.you want to do this until a nice stream of fluid comes out of the bleeder (3 or 4 times.) the pedal will stick to the floor on this step but it is normal. just pull it up and bleed it again. By the end of step 3 you will have a nice feeling pedal.

4.After you are done with these 3 easy steps make sure your fluid is to the max line in your clutch fluid res. and you are done. Enjoy your new feeling clutch.

Kick it!

There is nothing holding it in beside the rubber, so with a soft mallet hit the edge until it comes free. When putting back in use rope inside the groove of the rubber, and once seated pull the rope to make the seal. Also recommend silicone to stop the rust.
