The mitsubishi eclipse has never had a bose stereo your 01 gs came with an infinity stereo, if your car does have one it is because it is aftermarket. To remove it you simply take the 2 screws at the bottom of the face plate that covers the heating and radio then remove the 2 or four depending how big your stereo is and pull it out.

On the in side of the door on the driver side of the dash just open the door and pull the panel cover off.

It can be the clutch, it doesn't work properly. And check the transmission fluid level. Sad news is that if it's the clutch you will have to replace it as soon as possible.

I am pretty sure the Expo LRV and the Eagle Summit wagon are identical. Mine has the 2.4L engine, there was also a 1.8L engine. The 2.4L version is a 4G64 type engine. There should be a metal plate on the back of the engine compartment that states the engine type. (In the center just below the hood.) Just make sure that the engine you replace it with is the same type.

The headlight socket is made into the headlight assembly. You have to change the whole headlight. If you dont have mech experince then i would let a shop do it because its easy to change but the new one has to be aligned using the adjustment screws. If it's a manual transmission, it's on the driver side of the transmission right by the driver side axle. You park the car on level surface, remove plug(bolt), than add fluid until it comes out the same hole your pouring fluid in. It's a pain in the but trying to poor the fluid in. I used a piece of hose that I put in the hole, then ran it up through engine bay, and just poured fluid in the house. Made it a little easier to fill. Hope this helps.

"Blowing" Fuses & "Tripping Circuit Breakers Fuses and Circuit Breakers are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] from short circuits and overload conditions which can cause extreme overheating that can result in damage to the insulation and the conductors, and worse, the possibility of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle. When a fuse, and replacement fuses blow, especially if it happens repeatedly, is an indicator of an UNSAFE CONDITION in that circuit, usually a short. Do not install a larger fuse in a misguided attempt to correct the problem. To install a larger fuse would almost guarantee damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire. The proper "fix" is for a qualified technician, who knows what he/she is doing, to troubleshoot the circuit, find and identify the defect, and make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with the properly sized fuse]. Although I have no experience with your 2001 Eclipse, the blowing fuse suggests that you have a serious fault condition in the reverse [backup light] circuit, or any other circuit that may be also connected to the backup light switch.

You must put the car on jacks and get under it preferably when the engine is cool. Once under the car you will find the A/C compressor located under the brake fluid reservoir. Then locate the pulley which is just below the compressor if you are looking down into the engine bay then loosen this pulley by using a wrench or socket wrench with the nut that is directly in the middle of the pulley. Once complete the pulley should be loose enough to get the belt around it and the compressors pulley, if not you can use a belt stretcher found at any auto supply store. Once finished make sure to tighten the pulley back up but only enough so the belt is tight DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. The belt well have longer life if tightened correctly. GOOD LUCK!

The fluid is in the transmission is low or it needs to be changed. Check the fluid level and see if is full or if it brown and burnt smelling.

Well if your asking about the 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, w/o turbo it's 140. GS Eclipses don't come stock with turbo so either your looking for a GS-T or GS-X, or you have put your own turbo and that would be specific to your turbo set up.

oil squirters are installed on a turbo block that shoots oil onto the piston skirts so that detonation does not occur with the high temps in the cylinder.

Remove the transmission oil pan for access to filter. Replace filter, fluid, and gasket.
