So. How do you get it to start the next time? I say you have a poor battery or charging system, The AC fan is taking just enough to keep the battery out of full charge. fix it.

It could be, but I haven't had one just quit on me before. Usually the CPS causes rough idle, hesitation, and/or stalling. Also, check to make sure all the electrical plugs are connected and properly seated on the CPS and ignition coils. I would check to make sure my spark pugs have fire to them. Your fuel pump and/or fuel filter might need replaced. Find the fuel rail on your car and see if it has pressure. FIRST JACK CAR UP AND REMOVE WHEEL. SUPPORT CAR WITH JACK STANDS AND PLACE FLOOR JACK UNDER REAR DIFFERENTIAL BOX IN THE BACK AND JACK UPWARDS ABOUT 10 INCHES. REMOVE SHOCK BOLTS AND NUTS. IF LOOSENING BOLTS PROVES DIFFICULT APPLY HEAT DIRECTLY TO BOLT USING A TORCH UNTIL BOLT TURNS RED AND LET COOL FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND THEN REMOVE LOWER NUTS AND BOLTS.WHEN NUTS AND BOLTS ARE REMOVED RELEASE JACK PRESSURE AND REPEAT BOLT REMOVAL PROCESS FOR UPPER SHOCK NUT AND BOLT REMOVAL. PRY OUT OLD AND WORN SHOCKS AND REPLACE WITH NEW ONES, INSTALLING UPPER SHOCK BOLTS FIRST THEN ADJUST JACK SO THAT YOU CAN INSTALL LOWER BOLTS. WHEN BACK IS DONE DO FRONT THE SAME WAY EXCEPT THERE IS NO DIFFERENTIAL BOX SO YOU WILL HAVE TO JACK UP EACH ADDITIONAL FRONT SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY AND REPEAT STEPS BEING CAREFUL NOT TO PINCH ANY LINES. ***GOOD LUCK***

Sounds like a fuel problem. First change the fuel filter. If the problem presists after this, look at other areas such as the fuel pump, fuel pressure regualator, etc.

assuming you have water in the radiator and it is not frozen and the electric fans are coming on - then you have a stuck thermostat. Replace it. Drain your coolant and flush the system, replace the thermostat and fill with 50/50 coolant and water.Also check the drained coolant for signs of contaminates like gas or oil, you may need a head gasket.

The thin trim panel just pops off and the screws are underneath. I just replaced mine. and you will need to remove the whole piece around the stereo, so remember the screws under the dash. Also, if you have buttons on your steering wheel for climate control and radio, they will no longer work when you change the stereo.

buy new bushings if needed for the rod and tighten the clamps holding the bushings

It's ontop the starter and has been for years and it's called the starter solenoid. You send 12 volts to it when you crank the car.

Great Neck / Steering Wheel Lock Plate Remover 47044 This is a upside down U shaped tool with a bolt passing thru a hole in the U. The bolt has a threaded cup that screws onto the shaft threads. A nut is outside the u and when tightened down towards the post pushes that plate down so you can slide out the lock ring. You may also need a 1 inch Allen type bolt to screw down inside the shaft to lock the post in the down position if you have an adjustable in and out steering wheel.auto zone or Advance may have this tool in their "loaners". You buy it and get a full refund with you return it.

It is located beneath the coolant recovery tank, lift the tank up and out of the way & look down slightly towards the firewall. You will see a "big nut" connection in the high pressure line, open this connector & look in the line leading to the dryer tank, remove orifice tube with needle nose pliers. It's easiest to take the high pressure line off at the drier tank before opening the mid point joint. (or lines will have to be bent)

Your car should have the serpentine bent (One belt drives everything). If so you need to find the belt tensioner, it is a quarter inch drive (use your 1/4 ratchet) stick the the square part of the driver into the square hole on the tensioner, then simply lift up on the tentioner, this in turn will loosen the belt, and you can then take off the old belt. Putting on the new belt is basically reverse of that, the easiest I found was having it looped around everything the right way, except the alternator, lift on the tensioner to get the belt to come around the alternator, after it is aligned lower the tensioner so the belt is tight.

I got an 89 olds 88 and gets 16 around town and 27 on the highway. I made several five mile tests on a recent trip on speed and air conditioning usage in a 2002 Cadillac. We got it up to 32 MPG at 60 MPH and no air conditioning. The owner threathen to kill me if I didn't cut the air back on. The AC takes up 2-3 miles off and over 60 MPH took another 2-3 mpg off. So we kick it back up to 90 with AC on hope for the best.

It's simple actually. First disconnect the alternator. There is a connector that you have to unhook. There are only three bolts holding that thing on. The toughest part is putting the belt back on. I'm female and could do it myself! It is very easy to change. The nut on the tension pulley is a 15mm I do believe. Put a ratchet on there and use a "cheater bar" for leverage to pull the tension pulley back and the belt slips right on real easy.
