If you're trying to use an old/used door lock to replace one on your car, you can take it to an automotive locksmith. The chrome cap will have to be removed and replaced and the wafers in the lock will have to be matched to your existing key. update: i put the clutch in and put it into gear n let the clutch out and it feels like i wont disengage all the way shifting is fine, i have played with the adjustment and still nothing, jus more or less freeplay in the pedal. i took off the cables so there would be no pedal and same thing i put the brake on and put it in gear and the car does not stall just a low idle i let off the brake and it goes just when i hit the gas there is really no response it just feels like the clutch is not disengaging

In the fuse-box which is located in the lower left portion of the dash. (approximately above the driver's left shin). The door to the fuse box is labeled "FUSE BOX". It can be removed quite easily (no tools). On the back of the door, there is a map of fuse locations.

The diagnostic Connection was started on all vehicles in 1996, so the 1992 Subaru does not have one.

How hard are you driving it? How often do you change the oil? What climate are you driving in? etc.? etc.?

If I understand the question, you probably need to replace the flasher. First make sure that all of the lights are working since having burned out bulbs will not supply enough load to make the flasher work.

Try pressing in the air recirculation button for the heating and air conditioning. Even though the fan is off many times fresh air coming in from outside will push air throught the system.

I've been looking for the same thing on a 94 subaru legacy wagon. There is a rear lens for your 95 subaru legacy wagon selling on eBay right now...

It probably has a hydraulic clutch so you will have to bleed the air out of it.

One answer is that your light switch has worn out and is shorting out. Replacement of it might be your best option. Leaving it "as is" will run your battery down. If you have a schematic of your electrical system or a repair manual for your model of car may have other answers. biker bob

I have a similar problem, my park lights blink when everything is shut off and it did run the battery down. my ouestion is did the light switch solve the problem you had?

There is a switch on top of the steering column that turns on the parking lights independent of the headlights. Check that this switch is not engaged.

Disconnect the battery, and wires from alt.Remove 2 bolts from front of alt. and 1 on back and lift out.

If you are referring to the "check engine" light, according to sites on the Internet this means your vehicle is experiencing a misfire. You should not drive the vehicle while this is happening because you can do serious and expensive damage to the catalytic converter and possibly start a fire.

You will need to remove the cover from the brake fluid reservoir on the master cylinder. Then you'll need to use what is known as a C-clamp to drive the piston back in so you can replace the brake pads. Be sure you bleed the brake system and return the brake fluid reservoir cover.

I hope someone responds soon. Mine are often intermittent and can find no info. elsewhere.

What year and model is your Subie? I have a 1991 Legacy and I pulled the automatic system out and replaced it with the standard seatbelts from a 1995-1999 Legacy. You could try replacing the seatbelt control unit which on the Legacy sedan, lives behind the carpet panel in the trunk near the left side of the trunk hinge and in the wagon its the same general area in the cargo compartment. I have the passenger side auto seatbelt parts for the Legacy if you're in need.
