The fuse box on a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner is located on the inside just in front of the door. Open the cover on the fuse box, and look at the fuse diagram to locate the AC fuse. Gently pull the fuse out, replace with same amperage fuse and make sure the AC works. Replace the fuse box cover.

There are fuses below the steering column to the right side as you sit in the drivers seat, pull the flap open. The fuse box is under the bonnet, again on the right side, mid way. I believe the fan heater fuse is located there.

I do not see aftermarket replacement wiper blades nor wiper refills listed in the aftermarket wiper catalogs for the 2006 Toyota 4 Runner. This would possibly indicate that the rear wiper was a proprietary Toyota technology/design and you may have to go to the dealer for the parts and possibly labor. Before doing this (because its usually a little more expensive going through the dealer), you may want to visit some internet forums and see if there's other ideas out there. Google "toyota 4 runner forums" then search "rear wiper 2006" once in the forums. I'm sure there's rapport on this topic.

One is a return line from the charcoal filter, the other is the feed through the gas line filter. You don't want to swap them around. If you did go back and redo it. The troubles will be more timely than the fix now.

Sounds like a vacuume problem, have someone sit inside the car. With the car in park, have them press the gas pedal while you are in the front sith the hood up. You should be able to hear a quiet hissing sound. Look for a hose hanging off and reconnect it. Also a hose may have come loose and got a hole burned in the side of it.

road runners can and canot be found in the desert

I wish I had a 69 roadrunner. Check it for spark at the plug wires. They make a cheap tester to do this or you can use a screwdriver, just be careful, if it sparks, it will shock you if your holding it wrong. Take the dist. cap off and have someone spin it over. Look for spark at the points. They should be clean and have a pretty blus spark. If they don't, replace them and the condensor. Still nothing? use a test light and check for voltage at the resistor on the firewall. You should have 12 volts comong in and 6 volts going out to the dist. If you don't, replace it. You should also have voltage coming in and going out of the coil. if it's going in but not out, replace it. You should have spark after that. Also check for fuel at the carb. No fuel, no run. Try that.

you would have to make sure you got fuel and spark.if you got both i would be looking for cam and crank gears to be aligned.if no fuel bad fuel pump,glogged fuel filter or kinked fuel line.if no spark your points maybe burnt or need adjustment in your distributor.

Please can somebody tell us what type of electrical systems the car has?Some of these models have manual speedos,others have digital ones.for the digitals,the procedure is outlined in older postings.

But for manual speedo with computer systems(brain box),the procedure could involve a special tool likely to reset the light.

A true case is the toyota hilux(japan)2002 LN 167 model,with 5L engine(has manual speedo)but has a diagnostic socket(DLC)

ive had the same problem i took the relay apart then put it back to get there and it worked fine or you might want to replace it if that dosent work. Had same problem. Turned out cover safety switch was bad. Switch is operated by first bolt forward of the pin on driver's side rear. Replaced and everything is now fine.

Had the same problem, there is also another safety switch that is located on your rear windshield wiper. If the wiper is not all of the way up in its home seated position then the rear window will not go down. If you move the windshield wiper up past the plastic holder and try to move the window down from the key hole in the gate it should work. you will just have to adjust the switch so that the wiper depresses the switch when it is home. Also your console switch might have a bunch of corrosion inside of it not allowing the contacts to touch. you can either replace the switch or clean it out.

hi there to remove the rear view morrow if you look under the mirrow bracket which slides on the the mount on the window there is eather one or two holes stick asmall flat screw driver up the holes which should release the clip and it should slide off. if it is a bit loose when you refit it, it will need the metal spring clip bending out to help it to grip hope this helps

There were none with the 22Rte. That motor was taken out of the trucks after the 1995 model year. They went to a 2.7l inline 4 to replace it with about 150hp.

you have to unhook the whole filter that looks like a canister then replace it using the new copper gaskets.

it depends on what you are replacing

I have removed and repaired the window motors on our Sienna van. Remove the door handle and and I believe there two bolts to remove before pulling off the inside panel which is just a pop off proceedure. I can't remember exactly how to remove the motor but it is fairly clear. Once the motor is removed take it apart and solder the circuit braker contacts together. If you are not comfortable with soldering, take the motor to a repair shop and have them do it. I have done both motors in our 98 and have had no more problems. This is somewhat vague but it's been awhile.

The battery is not charging, probably because the alternator has no output. Exchange alternators are readily available but not cheap. Check alternator belt tension. Remove, inspect and replace alternator carbon brush pack as necessary. After that, if still not charging, swop out the regulator.
