There is a button in your trunk. Pull that out and a cord on the side of the rear seat. Pull that and voila! Rear seat is down!

All Volkswagen inline-four watercooled engines have the same mount points, so the diesel you want will definitely fit. It will work so long as you take the transmission from the donor car too. If you use a gas-engine transmission with a diesel engine, the car will be REAL slow. And then there's the other problem, namely that diesel is about $1 per gallon more expensive and VW diesels don't get enough better economy to compensate for that.

It's a real pain, but you have to remove the plastic cover over the steering column, and tilt the steering column all the way down to get to the screws, there is two at the left of the switch and one on top. It should lift straight up off of a electrical connection and the new one just plugs in, then replace screws and plastic column cover, (the cover is the real harrd part)(both off and on),

I have Bridgestone's on my 97 Jetta GT, and the pressure is at 30. However, I'm not sure if different tires require different pressures. Look on the sticker located on the driver's door under the latch area. Front should be 30 rear 35

This happened to me .

The net in the trunk was caught in the latch. I pried the boot gently with a large screwdriver while pulling the handle to open it after pressing the inside release. Then we took out the so it won't happen again. You can't take down the rear seat back because the release is in the trunk.

This seat is secured with two bolts in back and two hooks in front. Slide seat all the way forward, remove two bolts with Torx 45 heads from rear of seat tracks. Position seat recliner in full forward position. Remove headrest- requires small tool like a paper clip to release. Lift rear of seat (pivot on front hooks), disconnect wiring under seat, tilt seat forward as far as it will go. Pull rearward on seat to remove hooks from floor. Sometimes seat needs to be angled toward the door to get enough vertical clearance- then remove one hook at a time.

After warmup, engine RPM should never fall below 2.0 bars. Check if oil pressure decreases at the same time engine temperature increases. Engine overheating will cause any oil to get thinner and lose viscosity. This results in lowered oil pressure even when the oil LEVEL is normal. I that is the case, check for cause of overheating. older and/or abused engines may overheat because of power loss due to poor compression and/or other reasons.

You need to get down low underneath your steering wheel and there you will see a fuse panel cover.

remove axle nut in center of wheel with a 32 milimeter socket.then jack up that side of car.use a jack stand under car for safety.there are six bolts holding the axle to the trans.you will need a number 8 starhead tool to remove these.they can be found at any auto parts store,just tell them what you are doing.use the tool to remove the bolts.drop the axle ,pull it out of the wheel hub.you may have to remove a wheel to allow room to do this,depending on which side you are replacing.reverse the procedure to install new axle.

VW from 1995 and on (automatic transmission) HAVE NO OIL DIPSTICK. You have to take it to your VW dealer for a check every 100 K miles. I hope this help. Good luck and GOD Bless.

According to my Toyota dealer the answer is yes. That is why I have a 2005 XLE on order (I was waiting for 2 power front seats). However, even though they are now making 2005's in production, I can't find any more information about them.

yeah it is your clutch it is not disangaugeing it can be very difficalt it might be the clutch cable, an 8 cluthc cable might just need adjusting, in that case its just a matter of tightening or loosening which you can do with your hands. and that is not so hard at all

when you open the engine cover look at the right side as you stand . no 1 cylinder is the inner one in the side where the starter located.

Check for broken motor mounts.

there is a switch by driver interior panel underneath the steering wheel. up raises the spoiler, down lowers it manually.

Depends on the Engine you have. On the 4.2L I6 Engine the Exhaust manifold is located on the passanger side of the Engine. It is mostly covered by a heat sheild, but its pretty easy to see when youfollow the exhaust pipe up to the engine.

The front or rear turn signal flasher bulb may be burned out and needs to be replaced. The turn signal flasher my be defective and should be replaced. The hazzard lights have a flasher unit of their own. These are found up in under the dash in the steering column area.

Clean the rotor cap contacts from inside as they build up salts by time..check the injectors and the fuel pump also..timing belt check.. oxygen sensor....lastly the valves..they might need adjustments or slight repair.

You need to give more information in the question. The automatic transmission Golf and Jetta II's (1985 - 1992) had a lot of problems with hot starting. Usually you have to replace the starter. Unfortunately it is much harder to get at than the manual ones.
