Why would there be transmission oil in the radiator?

Strong possibility of a blown head gasket. Either do not drive it or driver very slowly and carefully to get it checked. You dont have a blown head gasket, you have a leak in the transmission oil cooler which is inside the radiator. The cheapest way to fix it is to buy a external transmission oil cooler and hook that up to the transmission oil cooler lines which are now going to your radiator. then cap off the two ports on the radiator where the old cooler lines went. Your car will never know the difference, and your transmission will probably last longer as the external transmission oil cooler is vastly supirior to the one inside the radiator.

You had the upper radiator hose blow out replaced that and the thermostat changed all the coolant now your 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood cranks but does not start?

If the hose blew out while you were driving, and the car overheated, then you could have some serious engine problem. Cracked heads and or blown gaskets that may have cause coolant to inter the engine block. Check the dipstick or under the valve covers to see if it looks milky looking.

How do to replace a radiator in a 1987 Chevy Celebrity All it does is leak water?

To replace the radiator in a Chevy Celebrity:

1. Drain the coolant into a suitable container.

2. Raise the car and support on jack stands as required for your purposes. Most of this can be done from the top. If you do raise the car put chocks at the rear tires.

3. Loosen and remove the radiator hoses, radiator overflow hose. Remove the transmission cooling lines. Unplug wiring if any.

4. Disconnect the coolant fan motor. Remove the 4 screws and work the fan housing out.

5. Remove the torque strut (dog bone) mount from the radiator support bracket. Move it out of the way.

6. Remove the radiator retainer bracket.

7. At this point the radiator should slide up and out. There are two rubber mounts at the radiator pans on the bottom and top of the radiator. Save them for reuse on the replacement radiator.

Installing the replacement radiator is the reverse procedure.

When the radiator is in place and the hoses are back on refill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks. Make sure there is not an air bubble in the block that could cause heating problems. When you are certain there are no leaks start the engine and check for water flow within the radiator. Refill with coolant as necessary. Check for fluid leaks from the transmission cooling lines, repair as needed.

How do you bleed air in cooling system on a 1999 Malibu?

I would suggest the you elevate the front of car (like on a steep driveway) remove the rad cap, start engine and let it idle for about 30 minutes. Keep an eye on coolant level and add to keep it full. Air will bleed out as the thermostat cycles. The above is an excellent answer. You might also look and see if there are any bleeder valves on this engine. If so use them to bleed the system. Also make sure the heater is set to the high temperature setting to remove air from the heater core.

What causes an engine coolant fluid loss in reseservoir and some in radiator after about a week of driving no leaks from radiator?

One possible answer is if the radiator cap is bad. Now you have to remember that there are two seals on every rad cap. The outer one, for sealing the cap to the radiator (or pressurised overflow), and a second seal on the pressure relief valve. If either of those seals is bad, hot coolant will be able to undetectably escape the system, thus causing no signs of a leak, yet lowering the coolant level in time. Try replacing the radiator cap.

Where is the radiator drain plug on a Kia Spectra 5?

The drain plug is located directly on the bottom of the radiator; more on the driver's side of the car. You will not see it unless you remove the black, plastic shield that protects the front underbody of the car; there are two small bolts (10mm) and 4 small 'phillips' plastic screws that need to be taken out to remove the black, plastic shield. The top of the drain plug has a 'X' on it. Just unscrew the plug with a phillips screwdriver and the coolant will come out. Have fun :)

Why does radiator fluid get into heater vents?

You heater works from water flowing from your radiator to the heater core, you may have a leak in your heater core.

You most likely also smell antifreeze inside the vehicle. It is most likely casued by a leaky heater core. Unfortunatly depending upon the make/model/year of your vehicle a heater core can be difficult and/or expensive to replace.

Why is radiator water leaking from under your engine 93 Saturn SC2 constant pour while running?

It sounds like the water pump is bad. The only other reason I can think of is if the block is cracked but unless it's been very cold and you don't have the proper amount of anti-freeze in it that is not very likely.
