What engine is better for racing b18 or b20?
The B20B or B20z Engine from the Honda CRV is not a very good platform if you are looking at building a serious engine. These engines were not produced the same as the B16a or B18c blocks with the same quality and tolerances, So inherently the castings differ alot and tend to be very weak! Any good B18c block will be fine and in particular the B18CR. By changing the pistons to 84mm you will have a 2 litre engine which will benefit greatly from more Horsepower and Torque :)
What do you do if a 2004 Acura TL alarm goes off for no reason?
My Acura does that from time to time too...as does my neighbor's...and my co-worker's.
We all own Acura TLs. Mine is a 1996. I think it is a design flaw that occurs in Acuras.
I have spent a lot of money at the dealership, and they have told me that it is a problem with the door handle (which I fixed for a couple of hundred bucks), and they also told me that the problem didn't happen while the car was at the dealership.
I'm listening to my neighbor's car go off right now.
The only solution that I've come up with so far is disconnecting the battery, which means I have to re-connect and enter my radio code each time in order to use my car and radio.
I think it is something that Acura should recall and fix, but I'm not sure they are aware of the problem (or care about it).
You can also re-wire the system so that the wire that controls the alarm system is disconnected, but I don't know how to do that, so I can't advise you on it.
I hope that helps.
How do you fill transmission oil in Nissan Maxima?
It is quite easy. You will fill pour the fluid into the same hole the fluid test stick comes out of. I would use a funnel that fits into the hole to avoid spillage.
Why does your 1990 Acura Integra run hot?
Running hot can be caused by several things. A bad water pump, stuck thermostat or cooling fan not working are the most common causes,
could be a lot of things! maybe bad alignment, bad tires not balanced right, or motor mounts messed up. check in with your local mechanic shop.
what kind of car is it? the only thing that can really throw a car side to side is a bad tire or bend wheel or bent axle on rear wheel drive. put all the tire on a spin balancer and it will show which one if this is your issue.
dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler mini vans will do this too. feels like a bad separated tire when they do it. they are bad cv shafts.
How do you install an aftermarket alarm on a 2000 Acura 3.2l?

When should a clutch need repair in an Acura 2006 TL?
Assuming that your car has a tachometer, accelerate moderately hard in an empty lot (or other unobstructed and deserted area) and watch your tach and speedometer. If you're confident that your final drive will take the stress, just sidestep the clutch and launch. If you don't move (or take off slowly) and the tach rockets up, then your clutch is slipping, and it's time to replace it. If you're accustomed to the car, however, you should become aware of a slipping clutch -- it'll be obvious; you just won't accelerate.
Where is the turn signal flasher relay on a 1999 Acura 3.2 TL?
Underneath the steering wheel/dash. You do not have to remove the fuse cover panel(with drivers door open) because it is on the other side of the same panel. Just look up under the dash, locate the panel, flasher would be on the lower right of that panel.
Where is the obd2 port on Acura 3.2tl?
I have a 2001 Acura 3.2 TL. The OBDII port is hidden behind a removable panel in the center console. It is between the seat heater switches, below the coin tray.

Probably not. While reducing traffic is a noble goal, banning cars in almost any city would severely damage both the shopping and service businesses because many people will avoid the area entirely.

Acura radio reset after new battery is installed?
Acura is generally one of the better cars on the road; except for this problem. When the battery is removed from the system in addition to losing your AM and FM radio presets; the radio assumes that it has been stolen, and will demand a CODE number before allowing itself to be usable.
On some cars, a sticker may be place on the left hand side of the exterior of the glove box. other dealers place a sticker under the hood, inside the fuse box. Other dealers may not install a sticker with this code at all. To obtain your code, you will need your vehicle's VIN number and the serial number or the radio's code number.
You can get your radio's serial number by removing your radio and looking at the serial number on the rear of the radio (fun, huh?). The preferred way is to turn the key to the ACC or ON position, and turn the radio 'ON' while depressing the radio reset buttons '1' and '6' simultaneously. The radio will display a U xxxx and then a L yyyy code, you need to know those 8 digits; write them down.
Next, contact your local Acura dealer, identify yourself, your car's VIN and give him the code (xxxx yyyy) or the Serial Number; and he should be able to give you the CODE to turn your radio or Navigation system back on.
This is, in my opinion, the worst, least thought out solution to anti-theft equipment I have ever come across. Almost every car on the road will have the battery fail one or more times in a car's lifetime. Thus, every Acura owner will go through this problem - this is a very poor solution to an even smaller problem; the Acura radio is not a high demand device on the black market, as they are tailored to the Acura dashboard - the only people who would need one, are those Acura drivers who already have one.
There is a new problem set: According to Acura Service, at least for 2002-03 models, when the power is lost to the radio, it will not accept the code due to recent OnStar switch from analog to digital. The service department indicated a "hard reset" of all memory is required and the owner must incur the cost. There may be a work-around by taking your car to a location where there is no radio reception, or disconnecting the antenna from the radio.

Where is the fan switch on a 91 Acura?
The fan switch is actually on the cylinder block. Its located slightly above and to the drivers side of the oil filter. To access and remove it you will need to remove the oil filter and use a thin wall 27 mm long reach socket. An ordinary impact socket has too thick a wall to be able to slip over the fan switch as it is located very close to a fixed pipe. You would be best to put the car on a full height lift rather than trying to access it by putting the car on axle stands. I changed a friends today and it was a pain from start to finish. Stupid place to put a fan switch.
Why do the tail lights not shut off on your Acura?
I've been told to check the switch under the brake pedal to see if it is stuck or worn out.
