you may want to cleanthe engine veary well to remove any greese and dirt so it will be easyer to see your leak. with engine clean and dry place a sheet of cardbourd under the car to help pinpoint the basic area of the leak. crank the engine and allow to get warm , will engine is running inspect all the hoses and the engine head ,block, ect... you will find your leak

- Empty glove box and pop up the two plastic stops on the inside of each side. Slide the stop forward and remove it from the glove box.
- Undo the single screw that slides in the arm thingy (!) on the outside right of the glove box. Latch the glove box.
- Pop up the kick plate on the passenger door side. I used a screwdriver and was careful not to scratch anything.
- Unscrew the plastic stud thingy (!) that holds into the floor the trim piece that contains the fuse box door.
- Lift up the rubber door seal just enough so you can take off the trim piece.
- Use a 8mm socket to undo the screws holding in the hinges at the bottom of the glove box.
- Unlatch the glove box and remove it.
- Take a Stanley knife (or coping saw) and carefully cut the plastic cross brace at its ends. You can see where to cut because there are cut-outs already in place.
- Unscrew the four screws holding the metal cross brace in place.
- Unclip the filter cover. Pull out the filter. Be amazed at how dirty it is.
- Reverse the above, except don't replace the plastic brace. I found it was tricky to get the hinge screws started, but all you need is patience.

How to change rotors on a 2000 Acura?
They are pretty easy. I just did my friends front rotors and pads on an 01' Acura TL's. Pull all wheels off. Take pads off shoud be a 14mm to take the calipers off. Compress the calipers. Hang up your calipers w/ wire or string so they are not hanging by the brake line. Next look on the back side of the carrier. There will be 2 17mm bolts holding a the bracket for the calipers and pads. If you have trouble breaking them free, use a brass or dead blow hammer on the wrench. (You will be doing the same to tighten the bolts back up.) Next there will be 2 Phillips head screws on the rotors. Now these can be hard to get out w/ out stripping the head of the scews. I used an impact tool w/ a hammer to get them out. The craftsman one runs about 30 bucks. (It is not an air tool. It just looks like an oversized screw driver. It is spring loaded, so when you nail it w/ the hammer you will want to twist at the same time and it will break the screws loose.) Once those screws are out pull the rotors off. Degrease the new ones and reverse the process. Make sure you use the impact tool to put the screws back in. Hopefully the rotors come w/ them.
If you change your rotors I suggest changing the pads also.
This was for the fronts on an 01 Acura TL. I do not know if there is a difference between the years. Pay close attention when you start to pull the rotor off. Should be the same process for the rear I do not know. The only thing that might be different on the rear is that the bearing is in the rotor. Check the back rotors to see what they are. (If bearings are in the rear rotors, buy Bendix rotors for the rear. They come w/ the bearing carriers already in the rotor so you do not have to press them in. Buy grease and rear seal for rear rotors. Pack the bearing w/ new grease, put seal in back or rotor, make sure it is flush and put the rotor back on.) I mainly work on BMW's, and VW's.

POP THE HEATER VENT ON TOP OF RADIO OFF. YOU CAN PULL IT OFF, JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK OFF THE PLASTIC CLIPS. THERE SHOULD BE 2 SCREWS THERE FOR THE UPPER BRACKETS FOR THE RADIO. NEXT, CENTER CONSOLE NEEDS TO BE LOOSEN. PULL ASHTRAY OUT, THE GEARSHIFT COVER ALSO NEED TO COME OFF. TAKE OUT ALL HARDWARE, NOW YOU CAN MOVE THE CONSOLE BACK OR TO THE SIDE SO YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO THE LOWER BRACKET HARDWARE. THE HEAD UNIT WILL NOW COME OFF. (REMEMBER WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE WIRES, THE SECURITY CODE WILL KICK IN IF YOU WANT TO REINSTALL) RESOLUTION FOR THAT IS ..THERE IS A SERIAL NUMBER ON THE HEAD UNIT. CALL ANY ACURA DEALER WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER AND THEY WILL GIVE U THE CODE. JUST SO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THE RL SYSTEMS ARE AMPLIFIED SO WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT THE NEW AFTERMARKET HEAD UNIT WILL NOT WORK AFTER YOU HOOK UP THE WIRE HARNESS. YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO BYPASS THE FACTORY AMP OR REWIRE THE SPEAKERS. OR YOU WILL NEED TO HOOK UP THE BLUE WIRE OFF THE NEW HEAD UNIT TO THE WIRING HARNESS TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK WITH THE FACTORY AMP..IF NOT, YOU MAY HAVE TO SEE IF THEY HAVE SPECIAL HARNESS FOR THIS CAR.
