Air Filters and Intake Manifolds

I just did mine 2005. its behind the glove box tray. Open glove box, take screw off right side of glove box tray, slide the plastic piston out of the way. Un snap glove box at hinge, carefully so you don't crack the plastic. Slide out cabin filter like opening a drawer. Slide in new one, and reconnect the glove box. reconnect the plastic piston, and replace screw. 3 minutes..........

It would be very unlikely. Fuel injectors give very little problems.

the air guage machine has a spindle type guage as we have go guages for plu go and no go guage, that spindle is being inserted into the hole required to measure its ID and ovality.

that spindle has passage to pass air through it alaonge its axis and at the end that passage divides into two opening alonge its diameter

when air is passed thorugh the spindle( gauge) it passes though the spindle and get out throgh these two openings

now if the spindle ( guage ) is inserted into the hole, it quases a drop in the pressure which is sensed by the pressure gauge mounted on the air guage machine, and that is converted into the dial guage in microns and v get redings in microns :)

There are several systems of converting the back pressure in to a display measure, like diaphragms, transducers etc which have their own errors, calibration etc and all these together make the measurement system and we see complicated result.

It's in the airbox at the front corner of the engine compartment (I can't remember which side). Check your owner's manual, it'll tell you where to find it and how to change it.

In some platforms this can be using the ndd command.

ndd -set /dev/ip ip_respond_to_timestamp 0

You will have to be very careful when doing this. Take a flat tool or butter knife,pry around til cover snaps,then remove carefully with hands. 2nd,remove screws to get to filter. It's no fun.

Look under the dash on the passenger side. Probably right above the blower. Refer to owners manual. Walmart carries Fram cabin air filters.

open the glovebox. on the right side there is a dampener that is attached to a little knob on the glovebox. pull it off then squeeze the sides and twist the glovebox so the stoppers can go past where they usually rest. open it up now as far as it will go without breaking anything and inside youll see an 8"x2" white plastic rectangular panel. this is the front of a small drawer that holds the cabin air filter in place. its easy to slide out and replace the filter now that you know where to find it.

'Bubbles' in the oil are not good. Usually, they're not air bubbles, but water droplets. When you see them, it's a sign that your oil is contaminated with water and needs to be changed. A more serious problem is how the bubbles got there. Quite likely, there's a leak between the system that circulates oil (to lubricate moving engine parts) and the system that circulates coolant- the water 'jacket'. Could be something relatively simple, like a blown head gasket, or something really ugly- like a cracked head or block.Hey, be thankful you're not dealing with the idiot invention of the century, the dual action fuel pump. That little gem pumped water for the cooling system and fuel for the engine, separated only by a thin rubber diaphragm. Get a leak in the diaphragm and it pumped fuel into the water jacket and coolant into the fuel system. Usually, the engine died from trying to burn water, before the fuel in the water jacket overheated and exploded.

Without seeing the bubbles it's hard to diagnose. Often times cheap oil additives can actually cause this.

When you open the hood, it should be the large rectangular piece on the left side. It is very big compared to the other surrounding engine parts and sits right on top. Just reach onto each side of it and release the clips to lift the top off. You should see a filter that is placed with the vent vanes facing downwards. Just pull it right out and replace it with a new one when the need arises

Fuel filter is located in the engine compartment, driver's side between battery and firewall. Follow the fuel lines.

I don't think the Colorado has cabin air filters

From 5 to 10 horsepower.

It sounds to me like you need to check the fuel filter, sometimes trash gets in it and when you tap on the gas it moves the trash out of the way for a few moments then it will start it again once the trash settles.

wen opening the hood of your car you will see a very big plastic peice covering most of the moter. on the bottom left hand corner of it you will see a butterfly screw, take it off and then simply lift on the cover,on top of the car on the walls center you will se the filter its very easy to remove and replace....good luck,..your friend davey

Walk into or call any auto parts store. Ask for a cabin filter for your Saturn. They will tell you if it has one. Or you can look in your owner's manual.

The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust manifold, sometimes accessable from underneath the car. It resembles a sparkplug. What can make them hard to replace is they can seize up due to the many hot/cold cycles that they go thru plus the corrosion. A day before you replace it, soak it with PB BLASTER a great penetrant.Also check the wrench size you will need. Good luck.

Location of Cabin Air Filter: Behind the glovebox, which is easily
removable. After opening the glovebox, push the top sides in towards
the center. It should lower about an inch or two. Pull the bottom left
or right hinge towards the seat with a quick jerking action. Then pull
the opposite side. The cabin filter slot is about 8 X 1.5 inches rectangular. The tabs to open are on the bottom side. To remove the filter, which you want to make sure of the air flow first, you will have to
press the filter in on the right side because of the brackets around it. Viola! Make sure to replace the air filter in the correct air flow direction.

Its located on the lower intake manifold on the 3.9 motor. Its behind the belts, between the two heads.

thru the duct which allows air into the cabin. just like the engine air filter, there is a duct which allows air in and from there it passes thru the filter. a mouse could easily squeeze thru that space
