Your low on oil or Oil is covering the sensor on the tank.

You will need to have the engine scaned with a engine scaner, There is a problem in the emission system. A scanner will tell you what is going on.

Some part stores will scan it for free. CALL AROUND.

could be anything from a crankshaft sensor to a fuel flow sensor if you take it to a garage they will diagnose it and can reset it but can cost anything upto £50.00 to reset depending on where you take it

If your board is functioning correctly it's because you have one, or more, of the channels soloed... Look along the top of each of the input channel faders and check the solo buttons aren't in.

Take it to Autozone since it is OBD2 they will be able to get some generic codes from their scantool and can help you further.

On some models, like my 1997, there are computer updates that the dealer must do. I'm told (by the local dealer) that these updates often correct some problems and make the vehicle operate more efficiently. If you're lucky, this could solve the problem. If not?

Fuel filter\regulator is on top of the fuel pump. It does not need regular servicing.

The Passlock security system is the problem. Should be recalled. Go here http://newrockies.com/?ap_id=craigpeate for a module to bypass the system completely. The resistor workaround at the key isn't always the only problem. I tried it on my 99 Suburban and it didn't do any better with the resister bypass. You need to eliminate the entire security system. Buy the pro module for $179 plus shipping and save yourself the hassle of dealing with it ever again. Or you could go to the dealer and have them replace the entire system for over $1000. They will have to replace the key/tumbler/hall effect switch/wiring and EVO-Passlock module to get it right.

the key is worn out and neededs to be reprogramed to theft module. turn ing on with out starting for ten mins. then off and on it should program key i think. the dealer should also tell you the right way to do this. very common problem.

29s here, sadly if the check engine is blinking that means you have a serious driviability problem. the only time my Mazda did that is when i mistakenly over filled the engine oil one night and it was misfiring and shaking in which a few months after, the engine went. most likely its going to need a major replacement or a least a professional diagnostic. the cheapest way i can think of would be to try this, TAKE YOUR CAR TO AUTOZONE GET THE FREE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT READING (this does not and cannot take the place of a real engine diag.)THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PRINT OUT WITH SOME TROUBLE CODES,AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM/S THAT HAVE MALFUNCTIONED. FROM THOSE DESCRIPTIONS/CODES YOU COULD GET SOME MECHANICS OPINNIONS AND SUGGESTIONS, OR PRINT THE CODES ON HERE AND GET SOME SUGGESTIONS, AS TO THE POTENTAL PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS. other than that 90 dollar or more diag time. help this helps

Acording to our dealship the problem could be with your computer and compomnent that uses a bearing to sense an impact...The cost to replace is about a $1000.00... ok yeah this can probley be fixed alot cheaper by taking it to a ASEcertified mechanic shop. it could also be a short in a wire making it think it has gone off.

Resetting it is a manual process,independednt of doing the service. In fact, it can be reset without doing service. Refer to maintenance manual for how to reset. Generally has something to do with a combination of ignition key position and pressing other dash/odometer buttons. why did it throw the code in the first place ?

Had the same problem on two occasions with my 99 Blazer...sounds as though your alternator is going bad. The car will run good while the battery is charged up, but as the battery wears down, the engine will run poorly and the gauges will operate erratically. Eventually, the battery will not have enough energy to allow the engine to run, and it will stall.

You could try un hooking the battery.

Most vehicles after 1995 incorporate the OBDII system and you have to use a scanner to retreive the codes. However, there are auto parts stores such as Auto Zone that will scan it for you ay no charge.

I suppose it might if the dense fog is of sulphur dioxide instead of water vapor. Leaving that unlikely event aside, let's say no, it's just a coincidence. The check engine light actually means there might be something wrong with your emissions system (nothing to do with your engine, unless you are burning huge amounts of oil). Even then, it's most often caused by simply not tightening up your gas cap at least 3 or 4 clicks.

Go fill your gas tank, close the cap really tight, and it will probably repressurize and that light will go out by the time the tank is empty again.
