that's easy...if there is an airbag on the steering wheel, remove it bull unbolting the 4 tiny bolts on the backside. get a steering wheel puller, insert it and keep tightenting the puller till the steering wheel comes off. there will be a little clip hold back a plate. compress the the plate, preferable with a special spring compressor made to fit a steering sheft thread, and pull the clip. a special clip separator plier might be needed, or two metal picks will do fine. remove the plate after pulling compressor off. another plate behind it might need to be pulled off, unless changing the turn signal switch also. may be a good chance to do it anyway since youre going through all the trouble. ignition switch will be right there. total time it took for me to do my turn signal switch was arouind 1 to 1.5 hours. shouldn't take any longer if these directions are followed properly. if the second plate does need to come of there is a metal o-ring holding the second plate. it will need to be pulled out and around the steering shaft.

If there are two conductors leading to the switch, just disconnect them both from the switch, strip them to the bare wire, and short them together. If that doesn't work, tape them apart and try that. If there is only one conductor leading to the switch, it either needs to be stripped and bolted directly to the transaxle body, or disconnected and isolated completely. Y'know, that switch is there for a damned good reason. Have ya tried just replacing the switch? Just don't start the car in gear PLEASE. Is it automatic? Make sure your PNRDL stick ain't lying to you.

The brake lines on a 96 Corsica can be fixed by replacing damaged sections with new lines. This will improve braking and prevent catastrophic failures.

Much of the dashboard must be disassembled, particularly in the passenger's foot area. The heater core is located inside the air box, which is mounted to the inside of the firewall. This is a very difficult job for an inexperienced person, this should take a mechanic shop anywhere from 3-6 hours to complete.

"Through" would mean that the air comes in one opening and out the other. Your digestive tract would meet that definition better than your respiratory system would. Of course, a penetrating wound could provide two openings through which air might pass.

I'm assuming that you already have the serpentine belt off. its the smooth pulle, and bracket. located the pulley, and on either side there should be a bolt remove the bolts and pull off.

steer the wheel to the right. for a better veiew.look under the panel, locate the tensioner it has a screw in the middle. you probably need a wrench.

FOLLOW YOUR UPPER RADIATOR HOSE TO THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING SENSOR IS UNDER THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING. FACING TOWARDS DRIVER IT TAKES A 3/4 WRENCH YOU NEED TO PULL AIR CLEANER OFF THERE IS AN ELECTRIAL CONNECTOR GET A SMALL FLAT BLADE SCREW DRIVER TO RELEASE IT . LOOK OUT THINGS ARE TIGHT. YOU CAN GET GOING UNDER TWENTY BUCKS.

atpump one line should be a threaded male ferrule connection ( pressure outlet ) your pump should have a matching female threaded hole in it the other line is just aslip on type hose with clamp their should be a nipple on the pump this slips onto with clamp to secure it ( this is lo pressire or retun, suction for pump the other end connect to the rack and pinion steering unit ( usually on firewall behind engine connection points are usually on drivers side of rack (look through opening in fender well behind drivers side front wheel should be able to see them there access to them is a real bear but canbe reached (18 mm wrench) on my sons 94 top line on rack was return line bottom was pressure outlet . hope this helps

Firing order on all 60 deg. - V6 engines is 1-2-3-4-5-6

Remove the rear speaker covers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers. Reverse the process to install the new speakers.

pull your back seats down, there should be some screws right behind them...around 4. then you will need to pull of the little grey panel the screws came off of. afterwards, you will need to unsrew the screws underneath the speakers in the trunk, just leave your back seats down and crawl through right there. once you have done that, just pop off the back panel, and then you will need to unscrew the speakers, then pull them off, (just pull them because they have a glue that holds them in, they will not brake!), then you will need to cut off the stock adapter on the end of the wire that was attached to your speakers, then you will just attach the red and black wires to your speakers and install them. reverse the process to put your panel back on...note that you will not be able to use the grill that came with your speacker because the stock speaker grill (or cover) has little interlocking pieces that latch onto the rear dash panel.

If you have to ask how to perform this very simple, basic task, take it back to the Chevy dealer and let Mr. Goodwrench do it.

on automatic transmission

I'm having the same problem with my 92. Check the antifreeze level first, if there is too much in there, it will overflow when ran. Then check your reservoir cap, make sure its on there tight and not leaking. Next check the hoses running to the head and radiator. Make sure there are no leaks. If you still haven't found a leak then check the release or "weep hole" on your water pump for leaks or steam. If no signs of leakage in any of your coolant components, then your problem may be in the radiator. Hope this helps.

WHEN YOU OPEN THE DRIVERS FRONT DOOR, IT IS LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF THE DASHBOARD THAT IS FACING THE DOOR PANEL. IT IS A PANEL, HELD ON WITH VELCRO.

The headlight switch should be easily removed from the dash. There are two connectors on the back side of the switch (one for the headlights and one for the dimmer). Simply unpug the connectors and plug in the new switch.

The belt tensioner on a 91 Corsica 2.2L with an aftermarket AC is replaced by loosening the retaining bolt and pushing the tensioner to the side. The belt can then be taken off, the tensioner removed, and a new one bolted into position.

As with any type of car there are wheel options that come with or are available for different models or trim levels, therefore different tire sizes for those wheels.

Remove neg batt cable.Remove dash plastic under steering column. Disable/unplug airbag yellow power feed wire under dash if so equipped.( If your car has a airbag make sure it is disabled!) Remove horn pad/ air bag as necessary. Loosen-remove center nut on steering wheel. Using a steering wheel puller, pull wheel. Remove the two bolts that hold the column at middle. Drop column 6" or so. Remove the 2-3 torx fastners the hold the switch in place. Unplug the switch harness at midpoint on the column and feed the harness thru opening. Reverse procedure. Done. First remove the cover for rear deck third brake light. Then lift the front of the rear deck tray above the the top of the rear seat to gain access to the speakers which are held in place with two ten mm bolts each. The speaker leads are soldered to the speakers so you will have to cut them close to the terminals to remove them. Be careful with the rear deck package tray as it is somewhat fragile.

I have a 95 Corsica with the 3.1 V6. I do all my own work, and this is the one thing that I hate doing. The way that I have been told to do it is similar to how I must do it in our 97 LeSabre. The front engine mount must be undone. You have to support the motor from the bottom, or it you have an engine hoist you can use that from the top. And if you do I envie you. You can use a floor jack to do this, just be careful of the oil pan. Once the motor mount is off, jack the motor up slightly. This should allow you enough room to remove the belt, and place the new one on the pulleys. Make sure that it is how you want it before you lower the motor back into place and securely bolt the mount back into place (personal advise from the Buick). That should be it, its not too difficult, just a pain in the a** for a belt. Good luck.
