Where are the fuses for the power windows of a RAV4?
There are 2 fuse boxes in Rav4s (that's how it is in my 2002 Rav4). One is under the hood on the right hand side, the other is located behind the compartment where your left knee touches when you drive. The one that controls the power windows is probably located behind the compartment where your left knee touches when you drive. Onur Diker.

Remove panel on rear door. Also remove small rear access panel. Unplug the two wire connector cable that's connected to the rear window motor. With a cable connected to your battery apply voltage to the window motor connector in either polarity, the window will travel up or down, depending on which way you connect the battery cable. Most of the time the problem is the limit switch inside the rear door... is defective

How do you take the doors off of a 2000 Honda Civic DX you need to get your window back on track?
The 2000 may not be much different from my 91 in that you don't take the doors off the car, you take the inner door trim off the doors. Remove any screws you can find around the handle and in places you can't normally see, like up by the dash and hinges and behind the latch. Once these are out, you have to pull the inner door trim away from the sheet metal of the door starting at the bottom with your fingers or a plastic putty knife to get it started. (Again, this is how I did my 91) Being sure all screws are out, you have to pull hard to get it to start popping lose. Work your way around. When all are out, it will be hanging by a lip on the top of the door. It should then lift off the lip and come free, working it past the latch. I used silicone to attach the glass to the scissor-mounted glass rest, but raised and lowered the window a few times to see just where the two should meet. I think its best to try to put it back where the factory had it. You don't need or want much silicone, but the two surfaces must be clean so they stick together. Let it dry for a couple days before stressing the connection by using the window. To put the door panel back on, work in reverse order. Be careful to align the friction clips at the bottom before you pound them back in. The screws should line up perfectly or you've shifted it from where it was before.

Check under hood for a power distribution box
More than likely it is your switch or a short in the wires, if the motor was going it would not work part of the time. I would say 95% it is the switch. Look for a part for this replacement on line , my guess about $50.

How do i Remove electric window on pulsar 1994 please?
To remove the window first depends on it being a front window, or a rear (front being alot easier). 1. First remove the door trim, (which is in another blog file already, but simply remove the screws in the handle, at the bottom of the door trim, and at the front and rear of the door trim, followed by the door lever surround - which simply unclips at the top and bottom. Then gently push it upward to ensure all screws and fasteners are undone, and it SHOULD lift out of the slot which the window goes in and out of the door.. BUT don't pull it too far away from the door as most will have wiring attached for the window switch and possibly a door open warning light. 2. undo the 3x 10mm bolts around the electric motor and loosen the 4x 10mm bolts on the top and bottom of the window guide (the sliding mechanism that the window travels up and down on, also known as a window rail i guess). 3. Next you have to turn the ignition on and connect the window switch again to the door wiring so you can wind the window down far enough to remove the 2x 10mm bolts attaching the window mounting base plates to the window guide. After you remove these you need to push/ pull the window all the way up and find something flexible enough to support the window in its channels and keep it there while you complete the rest of this job.. I used a piece of firm packing rubber in between the window and the window slot.. BTW, turn the ignition off so you don't flatten you battery! 4. now remove the 4x 10mm bolts holding the window guide and manouvre the guide and motor (after disconnecting the motor power wire) out the largest oppening in the door, ussually the back one. 5. Installation is the reversal of this but bearing in mind to connect all wiring connections and do not tighten the 4x 10mm guide bolts until the window can go easily up and down, as it needs to find it's correct guide position for the window to work smoothly.. Well, that is how i did it, as i have a N14 Pulsar Q and replaced the original non-electric interior with the Ti spec including all door wiring harnesses, electric mirrors, electric windows, door trims, door warning lights, and all the factory wiring and switches. Hope this helps... KEViN :)

Where are the fuses of the electric windows on 1999 Suzuki Vitara as none of the windows work?
The fuse box is under the left side of the steering column. There is a black plastic cover that you pop off and on the cover is a diagram of what all the fuses relate to. You have to lay on your back and shimmy under the steering wheel and it is on the driver's side next to the steering column closest to the driver's door. I just found mine and checked all of the fuses and they were good. There are more fuses under the hood, there's a plastic clip-on cover on the passenger side of the engine as well. So far that is all I have found. The fuses under the left side of the steering column have the power window fuse box. You will see it on the diagram.
Renault megane electric window fuse lay out?
Looking at the fuses, you'll see two stacked vertically (25A), and another to the right hand side of those. Of the the two stacked, the top one is for the front passenger window and the bottom for the front driver's side. The window fuse to the right of these is for the rear windows (both of them I think)
