Hey, I just changed mine. You can get a kit do do it. Or you get a nice size c- clamp, a deep well socket that is bigger than the u joint cap on one side and a deep well socket that is a little smaller than the cap on the other side. Use the c-clamp to press the one side into the other (larger) socket. Once pressed all the way through, you should be able to slip it out.

Knock the old one out and tap a new one in place. Lightly sand the hole to remove any rust, place the plug in the hole and tap in. Use a socket that fits in the inside of the plug and hit it with a hammer. There are also replacement freeze plugs that you put in the hole and tighten a bolt on the surface to expand it until it is tight in the hole.

AnswerI just replaced the latch on mine. There was no glue or rubber cement, at least on my model. In order to remove the old latch:
- Open the soft-top halfway, so it balances with the frontmost portion in a roughly vertical orientation. The goal is to let it balance on its own, so you don't have to hold it. Alternatively, get a friend to hold it for you.
- Starting on one side, carefully wiggle the top strip panel straight away from the rest of the soft top. There is an indentation in the side of it where the locking bolt fits, holding it on.
- You need to carefully slide the panel away, so that the indentation comes away from the locking bolt.
- On mine, the passenger-side locking bolt was smaller than on the driver's side, but yours could be reversed (or they could be the same size). Be careful, and try each side with increasing pressure, to minimize the risk of breaking the paneling.
- Once one side of the panel is free, carefully pull the rest of the panel free. Be careful not to bend it enough to break it.
- Slide the other side of the panel away from the soft-top.
- Remove the locking bolt on the latch (mine was a 10mm bolt on the driver's side, and a larger Phillips screw on the passenger side).
- Unscrew the two (Phillips) bolts on the bottom of the locking mechanism
- Slide the entire assembly out the front of the front

5. Inspect the brake rotors for scoring, grooves, cracks and discoloration.
6. Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts.
7. Slide the brake caliper off of the brake rotor.
8. Support the brake caliper up and away from the working area. Make sure you do not kink or pinch any brake lines. Do not disconnect the brake line.
9. Remove the brake pads from brake caliper.
10. Compress caliper piston using a C-clamp.
11. Install the new brake pads in the brake caliper.
12. Reinstall the brake caliper.
13. Torque the brake caliper mounting bolts to manufacturer's specifications. Repeat for other side.
14. Install wheels and torque to manufacturer's specifications.
15. Refill the brake fluid in the brake master cylinder and reinstall the cap.
16. Pump the brake pedal 4-5 times to seat the pads and pistons.Road test vehicle, break in new pads.
Answerif it's anything like a 95 celica you take off the wheel. then remove 1 ten millimeter bolt then, the inner part of the caliper swings up and you use a C-clamp to push the pistons in and slide the new pads in place then swing the caliper down, reinsert the 10 mil bolt. also make sure that the cap for brake fluid is open while you sqeeze the piston back in with the c-clamp.

And I think that is all of it, the tank rotates down and out. Need the car about 3 feet off the ground. Install is the reverse.

The speed sensor is not in the speedometer cable. It is screwed to the back of the speedometer. It's a small light, like an LED, that shines onto a rotating piece and puts out a two pulse per rev signal.
The bracket snaps on the window over the plastic pin in the window. You need to pull the bracket away from the window to get it down and over the plastic pin. If you will be replacing the window regulator you can just cut the bracket where it snaps over the pin.
