you need to understand that, i guess???? i don't know, it seems so wise to be good, for you will reap what you sow, i guess apathy is one reason? i personally believe there is a spirit responsible for this, who wished to rebel against the laws of nature.

If everyone was good there will not be any jails. People murder kidnap rob rape and even torture each other not what you said. People are bad because they hate off what you have. There is always going to be a person who doesn't like you. No matter where you go that's just how life is.

There was the Armenian genocide, Holocaust and the Rwanda genocide.

Actually there have been many instances since WWII.

Unfortunately this is still currently going on in other countries outside the US.

China had 40 million deaths under leader Mao De Zong mostly due to his social experiment known as the great leap forward which caused the starvation death of 30 million people.

Cambodian leaders of the group Khmer Rouge wanted to return the country to a peasant state so they rounded up the intelligent and educated and brought them to what became known as the killing fields to wipe them out and leave only the subserviant behind.

The worst one that is still going on is the killing of gay individuals. Uganda is preparing to pass a law that will legalize the extermination of gay and lesbian people. This activity is already illegal and is now punishable by prison but will soon become punishable by death if the law passes. Six countries surrounding Uganda already practice this law and encourage citizens to inform on others for gay or lesbian behavior. If this passes nearly 5% of the Uganda population may be exterminated.

Below is a time frame with the more well known genocides though some are only now coming to light.

After studying the Holocaust I did some research to see if that kind of atrocity was still happening in the world and I was shocked at what I found. This list below is by no means complete.

Between 1975 and 1979, about 17,000 men, women and children were sent to the interrogation center. Only 14 adults and 5 children survived. Four other trials will follow: Nuon Chea, Pol Pot's "Brother Number Two"; Ieng Sary, the Khmer Rouge Foreign Minister; his wife Ieng Thirith, who was Minister of Social Affairs; and Khieu Samphan, who served as President. 15 The Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot, died peacefully in 1998 without having been brought to justice.

On the order of two million people in Darfur have been displaced. The number of deaths is unknown; the central government estimates 9,000 civilians killed. The UN estimates 200,000 deaths. Before 1994, about 85% of the population of Rwanda was Hutu, of Bantu origin; 10 to 14% were Tutsi, of Catalonian origin; fewer than 3% were Twa, of Pygmoid origin. During the early 1990's, the government of Rwanda carried out a program of ethnic division, raising hatred against the Tutsi minority in the country. On 1994-APR-6, president Juvenal Habyarimana was killed in a plane crash. Tutsi extremists are believed to have been responsible. The Rwandan Armed Forces and Hutu militia immediately started to systematically murder Tutsis and moderate Hutu politicians. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Rwanda, a peacekeeping force, was ordered to not intervene, because that would violate their limited, monitoring mandate. French, Belgium and American citizens were airlifted from the country. Two weeks later, the International Red Cross (IRC) estimated that tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands of Rwandans had been killed. The UN pulled 90% of its peacekeeping troops out of the country. When the killing finally stopped, about 800,000 Rwandans had been murdered in 100 days; almost all were Tutsis. Unlike many other incidences of mass crimes against humanity in the 1980's and 1990's, there was a strong ethnic component to the slaughter. 5 In 1999-MAR, the "...Human Rights Watch release[d] a report titled, 'Leave None to Tell the Story.'.. It...criticizes the U.N., the U.S., France and Belgium for knowing about preparations for the impending slaughter and not taking action to prevent the killings." 7 " The Organization of African Unity commissioned a seven-person panel to study the genocide. In its 296 page report issued in mid-2000, and titled "Rwanda: The Preventable Genocide," they determined that, among influences external to Rwanda, the United States, Belgium and France were primarily culpable. However, "within Rwanda itself, those with the heaviest responsibility were the Catholic and Anglican hierarchies and the French government." The report notes that:

"Church leaders failed to use their unique moral position among the overwhelmingly Christian population to denounce ethnic hatred and human rights abuse." 10 " ...both Anglicans and RCs [Roman Catholics] were widely seen as siding with the Hutu killers, as a result of which their sanctuary status was lost. A number of bishops and priests were killed by the re-invading Tutsi. It can be said that Islam alone (1% of the population) has consistently supported the interests of all ethnic groups equally." 6

About 75% of the Tutsi population were killed in the genocide. Court trials are underway

I agree with about 10% of the above, mostly the messy rooms (At least I know where all my stuff is, why do you?), some junk food and being social. All the rest is plain stupidity of an ignorant teenager. My parents are cool, we go to concerts and talk all the time, maybe all teens need to do is find common ground instead of locking themselves in a social network in their room. I hate sleeping, it is such a waste of time, two hours has worked for me for seven or so years, decent grades so I am no master mind. No drinking or smoking either, the above sounds like a majority of classmates of mine (I will never understand peer pressure).

Also, what most my friends and I like is porn. Can't go a day without looking up the newest porn and comparing amongst each other. That is probably the only twisted thing we do along with sparing and insult each other all day but that's what all teenagers do, we just do it to each other's face ^^ (17 and passing!)

PS: The only social network I reside in is Tinywarz.com and that is only for ablout 2 hours a day or idly while doing homework.

I believe so. When I was a teen, I didn't have really any freedom. There are still kids out there that don't have that much freedom because they have strict parents. I constantly see kids walking around with cellphones. I think that's just ridiculous. What ever happened to calling from a friend's house? Some kids have too much freedom these days, and some are living the lives like I did. It's about 50/50 to answer your question.

Mass hysteria is a condition in which many people are simulataniously affected by anxiety that is often extreme and unfounded. This condition is also known as collective hysteria, epidemic anxiety, group hysteria, mass psychogenic illness, or collective obsssional behavior.

Mass hysteria was recognized during the latter part of the Middle Ages when whole groups of people were affected by similar anxieties- such as dance manias involving raving, jumping, and convulsions. Some thought they had been bitten by a tarantula and would jump up and dance in the street. This activity became known as tarantism in Italy and St. Vitus's Dance in the rest of Europe.

In the 1950's there was a mass hysteria incident in the state of Washington involving pitting of auto windshields. Groups of people feared that the normal phenomenon had actually developed from airborne radioactive material.

The American citizenry as a whole came very near mass hysteria in the days immediately following 9/11, but managed to restrain itself in the end.
