Because the Colledge Board has a monopoly on life (if you do not go to colledge then you will not be successful unless you are really, really lucky), they are able to do whatever they want to students without repricussions. Our education system was reformed to model that of the rest of the world (most notably Japan) when it was shown that the test scores of students in these countries were incredibly higher than that of U.S. students. These tests were based almost entirely on memorized knowledge and rote learning, and so school know are structured to crush any signs of creativity or innovative thinking at an early age (this is why the overwhelming majority of inventers and great thinkers are people who dropped out of highschool or otherwise did not experience the full brunt of the horrors of the modern education system). The reason highly competitive and painful schools based on rote learning produce better test scores is simple. Students must exceed the pevious generation in every academic way in oreder to get into a colledge and have a chance at life. This leads to a sort of 'natural selection' effect, where only perfection can survive. Over the past few decades the American student body, and adolesent population as a whole, has caught up to the other world powers in terms of test scores. They have also caught up in the percentage of colledge students who openly admit they cheated in high school to get in (80%, although the total percentage of cheaters out of total students is probably close to 100%), suicide rates among teens (rapidly rising. Most honest students end up commiting suicide do to a physical inability to do as well as the cheaters (<1% of cheaters are actually caught) and an inability to live with the enormous pressure that builds up), and the percentage of students who feel that they must go to colledge or they will die (they are actually pretty close to being right)

Opinions on Iran and the Iranian people differ depending on who is answering the question and the context of the question. The most common context is with respect to conflict among ethnic groups within Iran, neighboring nations and the world powers including the United States.

Opinions range from the merely Jingoistic, "I think that they just want to take over America and own America well its not going to happen !" to opinions informed by study of the various Iranian cultures and actually conversing with Iranians both living within and exiles living outside of the Islamic Republic.

Although employment opportunities exist for individuals with a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in statistics or mathematics is usually the minimum educational requirement for most statistician jobs. Research and academic positions in institutions of higher education, for example, require at least a master's degree, and usually a Ph.D., in statistics. Beginning positions in industrial research often require a master's degree combined with several years of experience.

The training required for employment as an entry-level statistician in the Federal Government, however, is a bachelor's degree, including at least 15 semester hours of statistics or a combination of 15 hours of mathematics and statistics, if at least 6 semester hours are in statistics. Qualifying as a mathematical statistician in the Federal Government requires 24 semester hours of mathematics and statistics, with a minimum of 6 semester hours in statistics and 12 semester hours in an area of advanced mathematics, such as calculus, differential equations, or vector analysis.

In 2004, approximately 230 universities offered a degree program in statistics, biostatistics, or mathematics. Many other schools also offered graduate-level courses in applied statistics for students majoring in biology, business, economics, education, engineering, psychology, and other fields. Acceptance into graduate statistics programs does not require an undergraduate degree in statistics, although good training in mathematics is essential.

Many schools also offered degrees in mathematics, operations research, and other fields that include a sufficient number of courses in statistics to qualify graduates for some entry-level positions with the Federal Government. Required subjects for statistics majors include differential and integral calculus, statistical methods, mathematical modeling, and probability theory. Additional courses that undergraduates should take include linear algebra, design and analysis of experiments, applied multivariate analysis, and mathematical statistics.

Because computers are used extensively for statistical applications, a strong background in computer science is highly recommended. For positions involving quality and productivity improvement, training in engineering or physical science is useful. A background in biological, chemical, or health science is important for positions involving the preparation and testing of pharmaceutical or agricultural products. Courses in economics and business administration are helpful for many jobs in market research, business analysis, and forecasting.

Good communications skills are important for prospective statisticians in industry, who often need to explain technical matters to persons without statistical expertise. An understanding of business and the economy also is valuable for those who plan to work in private industry.

Beginning statisticians generally are supervised by an experienced statistician. With experience, they may advance to positions with more technical responsibility and, in some cases, supervisory duties. However, opportunities for promotion are greater for persons with advanced degrees. Master's and Ph.D. degree holders usually enjoy independence in their work and may become qualified to engage in research; develop statistical methods; or, after a number of years of experience in a particular area, become statistical consultants.

There are many factors that causes illeteracy in the Philippines but here are the major ones: First, is the decrepit public education system in the country. There are few proper functioning schools in the Philippines. The far flung areas of the country does not have schooles and eductional facilities are not offered. There is also a problem with the continuous population downgrade of public school teachers due to a very low salary. Second, is the poverty in the Philippines. The ordinary Filipino family have not enough financial means to be able to sent their children in proper schools. Third, is child labor. This is connected to poverty. Children, instead of studying and attending school, are forced to work early on to provide a decent food on their table.

Cognitive Learning is a term that is often used in the academic arena but more recently it has started to pop up in the business world. But what does it mean? To most people probably very little. Essentially what 'cognition' means is 'to know', gaining knowledge through thought or perception. Cognitive learning is about enabling people to learn by using their reason, intuition and perception. This technique is often used to change peoples' behaviour. But people's behaviour is influenced by many factors such as culture, upbringing, education and motivation. Therefore cognitive learning involves understanding how these factors influence behaviour and then using this information to develop learning programmes. So it is far more subtle than just telling people what you want them to do differently it involves presenting the message in such a way that it allows people to work out the answer themselves. This can be achieved a number of ways * Response consequences - should you reward for demonstrating the right behaviour or punish for demonstrating the wrong behaviour? Which approach will achieve the required outcomes? In reality there needs to be a combination of both as people will be motivated by different things. * Observation - observation is a very powerful learning tool as it enables us to see whether performing an action is desirable or not without making the mistake ourselves. Also employees will be more likely to demonstrate the right behaviours if they see managers and senior managers doing so. * Symbolism - allows us to create mental pictures and act out scenarios so that we can think through the consequences without actually performing it. Therefore cognitive awareness involves using cognitive learning techniques which are then used to make informed decisions about how to deal with new or similar situations.

Affective education focuses on developing students' emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness. It aims to support students in building healthy relationships, managing emotions, and making responsible decisions. Affective education helps students cultivate a positive sense of self and navigate social interactions effectively.

It is not appropriate to discipline a parent as you would a child. Instead, try to have a calm and respectful conversation with your mom about the issue at hand and work together to find a solution. Communication, understanding, and compromise are key in addressing any disagreements.

For example: If your doing research on the titanic. Think: who were on the titanic? What is the titanic? Where did the titanic sail? when did the titanic sink? why is this knowledge important? how did the titanic sink? If your doing research on social studies think of a story. What happened from the titanic from beginning to end? Believed it or not, research is actually the easiest part. Afterward you must learn to apply your research.

For example, you could read the information to them; you could display it pictorially; you could allow them to research the information themselves; you could present it as a PowerPoint presentation.

People learn in 3 main ways - visually, auditory and kinaesthetically.

Visual learners learn by looking at/seeing something.

Auditory learners learn by hearing it/being told it.

Kinaesthetic learners learn by actually doing/experiencing it.
