Did you get an answer from another source? My turn signals will neither one work sometimes. But other times they work just fine. I am certain that it is the flasher as the emergency flashers don't work sometimes either. Stiil haven't come up with the location of the flasher though.

You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

try the hazard warning light switch as if this fails the indicators will not operate then if not try the hazard light relay

i have run into to this before and it was the 4 way flasher switch was bad

depending on how the back hatch is opened there should be two rubber inserts on either side by the side of each light. pull those out with needle nose or just regular pliers and there will be a screw behind each one. It should be a Philips screw driver. Take out those screws be cafeful when doing this so you don't lose a screw. then if you where on the passanger side and have the two screws out you rotate the light outward away from the car very gently because there are two hooks on the back of light that also keep it in place after that unhook the connection to the light. After that there are two more screws per each tail light that holds the bulb housing on to the tail light housing you should need a nut driver for those when you take those out and pull off that piece you can now replace what ever is needed.

Also the bulbs needed are 3057LL you can find them at any auto parts store should be in a small red package.

Well - it could be the turn signal unit in the steering column - if its a high mileage vehicle it may just be worn out. you have to remove the steering wheel and replace the unit - the part on a GMC is about $30 +/-. This may fix the problem.

The turn signal flasher is located in the fuse compartment. The fuse compartment is located under the steering column on the interior of the car. The flasher fuse is round and silver. Hope this helps.

I just had the left turn signal get stuck ON in my 1998 Eclipse GS. The right side won't flash at all, but the hazards both come on and start flashing. I've been doing some research online and found a forum at http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180100 that seems to have some good advice. I'm guessing it will be the switch in the turn signal arm itself. I've tried unplugging the battery and turn signal relay behind the stereo, without success. Try looking at the turn signal switch itself, see if a small plastic piece may have broken off. 5-1-09 That was indeeed the problem on mine. I ordered part number MR277924 from the Mitsubishi dealer (came to $98 and something cents with tax), and the swap took all of three minutes, including getting the steering wheel covers back on. Works like a champ again now.

check the flasher,your 4 way flasher is different then your turn signal flasher,they both should be under the dash on the left side,they both look same,check your manual,it's about a $2-3 item

The flasher module may be bad try replacing that first. If that is not bad replace the turn signal cam in steering column. the toggle switch would be very hard to do.

Yes, you need to remove the plastic lower dash panel to gain access to the signal and 4-way flasher relays.

I saw in other places that yes it does have separate flashers.

Check the bulbs they are double filamented with samller filament for turn signals Could be a problem in steering column
