Mercedes e320 engine won't start?
Check for fuel first. No fuel probably means a bad fuel pump. Check for spark, no spark could be a bad coil pack or distributor issue.
What is wrong with you 96 Ford Taraus if it won't start?
Bad Battery, starter, low gas, fuel pump, engine control computer, sensors, and five hundred other possible problems. Be more specific in what wont work at the time.
If it's an automatic, try putting it in Neuteral and then starting it. If that works, you have a contact in your shifter (park) that's going/ gone bad. Hope this helps!
either your start enging is dead or it doesnt get any power, u can try checking the power cables that connect to the start engine (if I'm not mistaking it should be just before your transmission), if it gets power then the u need to replace the start engine

Why would your car shut off while you were driving and it will not start or turn over?
I had a dodge omni that did that exact thing and it turned out to be a $15.00 part that was located under the distributor. I forgot the name of the part though. .
Answerthis same problem happened to me..i have yet to solve it tho. it was running, then it started running rough so i pulled over to take a look under the hood. It never did turn back on..(84 Toyota celica)Well this happened to me, i ad to change the ignition module and it ran just fine
If it doesn't start or even turn over, I would suspect you have a dead battery possibly from an alternator that failed.
Why doesnt your fuel pump come on when you turn your key without starting?
Blown fuse, defective fuel pump relay, or the fuel pump itself is bad.
Where is the starter on a 1998 Aurora?
THE STARTER IS LOCATED ON THE DRIVER SIDE NEAR THE BOTTOM LEFT FENDER.ITS MOUNTED NEAR THE BOTTOM CORNER OF THE RADIATOR. The starter on my 1998 Aurora is located under the intake manifold, ON TOP OF THE ENGINE. I had to replace it last year, and it took me a while to find a mechanic who actually knew where to find it.
Could be several things, Crank sensor on distributor, bad oil pressure switch, bad computer. If you cycle the key on then off, do you hear the fuel pump run? When you try cranking the engine what is the oil pressure gauge at 350 Vortec engines require 20+ psi oil pressure to trigger the distriuter to fire.

Gasoline.
kia has had problems with the grond wire at the fuel pump in the tank you need to do a fuel pressure test to see if the pump is putting out the correct fuael pressure. this is done by hoocking up a gauge to the test port on the fuel rail it almost looks like a valve stem pressure should be 50-60 psi

2002 Dodge Intrepid will not start?
Needing Far more information than that... like did you turn the key? is there gas in the car, is the battery charged, when does it do this, what sounds or symptoms are going on when it doesn't start. Give us something to work with and someone may have a helpful answer
The starter was hit with a wrench and turned over for a second now car wont start why?
It is very likely that you have a stuck starter solenoid. That's the part that moves the starter's worm gear forward, so as to engage with the flywheel, so that the starter motor can turn your engine over and start it up. Once the engine starts, and you release the ignition key, the worm gear retracts back into the solenoid until it is needed again. Over the course of time, these solenoids become sticky, and refuse to move forward and engage the flywheel. Fortunately, there is an easy test for this problem, and it has never failed me. goes as follows;
Set the emergency brake, and put the tranny in neutral. If it's an automatic, put it in Park. Either way, chock the wheels. This is very important . You'll see why a little latter.
Crawl under neath the car with a responsible adult at the wheel.
use a heavy wrench, such as a large adjustable.
Have your helper sit in the car, holding the ignition key all the way over , in the start position.
From underneath the car, use your big wrench and bang on the solenoid. (It's the smaller part that is attached to the side of the starter motor.) Ya don't wanna dent it, Just give it some good whacks. This alone just might free up the piston on the inside of the solenoid, and at that point, your engine just might start. If not, then start to bang on the starter itself, and I mean give er a bunch of pretty good wacks ! I know sounds entirely like a cave man tactic, but it works. Keep in mind that your partner is still holding the key over, so if you smell anything burning, or see smoke, tell your partner to release the key, then wait a while and then try it again. You might wanna give it a rest every five minutes or so, to let things cool down. I once spent all but 20 minutes under a car before she finally fired up. Your partner should understand that if the motor begins to turn over, he or she should not let off of the key until the vehicle actually starts, and if it does, don't shut it off until you go out and buy a new starter motor. ( In the old days we could just buy the solenoid, but no more. You'll need to buy a new starter with the solenoid already attached. Leave the car running at the auto parts store, and be careful to not stall the engine on the way home.
At that point, things will be easier. Disconnect the battery. Unbolt the starter, and drop it to the ground, but save it, because you might be able to get money for it at the auto parts store. (Called a "core exchange") Bolt the new starter in, reconnect the wires, and then reconnect the battery. Problem should be solved. Or, you could just park on a hill where ever you go.. :) It it was me, I'd get a hew starter.
Is it hard to change a distributor in a Nissan Pathfinder?
A distributor is not hard to change as long as you follow some simple rules: (1) Set number one piston at Top Dead Center (TDC) before starting the job. (2) Make marks on the distributor and the engine so you will be able to match the two marks when re-installing the distributor. (3) DO NOT crank or manually rotate the engine while the distributor is out. The rest of the job is removing nuts or bolt and wires in order to pull the distributor out. NOTE: When pulling out and when re-installing the distributor, you will have to rotate it somewhat - just follow the "feel" as you go. PS: You don't want to forget the order of the plug wires to the distributor - it might be a good idea to tape and mark the wires as you pull them. You also want to observe which direction the rotor is pointing before you remove the distributor (an added precaution).
Why wont my Ford transit start I left the key in the ignition?

Several problems result in a Ford Transit's engine not working. Any of the following issues may be the reason your van isn't working. Let's take a look at these problems, so you can troubleshoot the issue and know what to do next.
a lot of factors to consider... will the engine rotate at all?
Why will the Car take a jump but wont stay running?
Check the alternator. If you can't get the vehicle to a shop that will check it for you, put a charger on the battery for a while then using a volt meter, see what the voltage output is after you start the engine.
Your alternator should be able to maintain somewhere between 13 and 14 VDC to the battery when the engine is slightly above an idle. Anything below 12V indicates that the alternator is done.
