How do you reset an air bag light on a 96 accord?
You can't reset it. It only comes on when a component in the airbag system has a fault or isn't functioning properly. You need to get your airbag system checked out to see what the problem is because your airbags might not deploy during an accident.
Where is the pcm located on 99 Chevy Venture?
Hi,
The PCM is located inside the Air Cleaner housing. You will probably have to remove the air hose that connects to the air cleaner housing to get the housing apart enough to reach the PCM.
Good Luck, Greg
How do you get the interior lights to go off on a 2001 venture Chevy van.?

If the gas gauge is stuck in one spot on a 1997 Ford Escort how do you access it to try and fix it?
check the fuse, it should be linked to other devices in the vehicle if you've noticed other components (radio, interior lights, etc.) not working. if the gauge is pegged in the super high or low position and the fuse is good, pull apart dash and check voltage reading at gauge wiring (you need voltage values from ford to determine if the gauge is out or if it is indeed telling you the right reading). If the gauge wiring checks out, the sender unit on your fuel pump went out and it is integral with the fuel pump itself. Ala, time to replace the fuel pump. Good luck.
What is error code P0128 in Chevy Venture?
Trouble code P0128 means: ECT Sensor Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature
Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a 97 Chevy Venture Van and how hard is it to change?
Wrong.. that is the level sensor, and it can be replaced by itself by removing the clip around the sensor and pulled out, however it will leak coolant if the radiator is full so be careful. the temprature sensor is on the block by the the thermostat housing. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine and your hand will hit the temp. sensor. it has electrical wires on it, disconnect them and remove the sensor with the correct wrench. replace the sensor and reinstall the electrical clip, the sensor is around 13 dollars
How do you program a new key from the dealer to replace your master key that has been lost?
That is the dealers responsibility. It should be included with the purchase of the new key.
Is there a way to shut off a blinking air bag light in your 1999 Geo Prism?
I also have a 99 prizm with a blinking air bag light. It started blinking in 2003. Took it to the dealer and they told me it was the SRS module and replaced it for almost $1500 bucks (dealer covered charges). 1 month later, started blinking again. took it back and dealer said it MAY BE the air bag solonoid on the passanger side. This would cost me $900 dollars to replace as that was not covered by warranty. I asked if that was for sure the problem. They responded that it was merely the next step in the flowchart. The SRS module was first, then solonoids, then airbags etc. This could potentially go on infinitum. Hence, You can take a chance and ignore it like I have, or go down the expensive rabbit hole chasing a cure for what is probably a Chevy/Toyota fantom problem. I also have a 99 Prizm, and mine blinks, too! I have no idea why. It stopped a few months ago and has stayed off, but I'm sure it will come back eventually. Good luck! You are dealing with a primary safety device in your vehicle. A device that can save your life. The SRS is not a system that can be worked on by a novice. Serious injury can occur if you do something wrong. The flashing light is an indication that something is wrong with the system. Take the car to you local GM dealer and have it repaired by a pro ASAP. Your life or a family members life may depend on it.
You need to install a new thermostat. The stat is located at the lower end of the top radiator hose within the water outlet. After the stat is installed, run the car with the radiator cap off for about 20 minutes checking and adding coolant as the air is pushed out of the system. Keep a eye on the coolant level over the next few weeks to insure the system does not have a leak which could be why you had this problem in the first place.
How do you fix P0560 code 2004 venture?
Hi,
That particular code - P0560 - says that the PCM (Powertrain Control Module or "engine computer") has detected that the "System Voltage" is not correct.
This usually means that either your battery is going bad, or you have a poor connection between the battery and the PCM - at the monitoring point. What you will need is to test the battery - at least as a starting point - and then move on from there.
Good Luck, Greg

Why does my Chevy venture power windows only works sometimes?
The contacts are likely dirty or corroded preventing contact at will. You can clean by disconnecting and swishing around in an electronics parts cleaner or something similar that is not water based. You will appreciate it as you see all of the dust and debris contaminate the solution. This has worked for me on Venture and other cars.
How do you change a serpentine belt on a 1995 Saturn sl2?
Take off passenger tire, then remove firewall splash guard plastic screws and guard. see serpentine routing of belt and begin, also use the belt tensioner to get it on, there is a nut to turn to make it loose, do that when you get there, and also a good idea to replace that also as a new belt will put a lot of stress on the tensioner, that makes for doing the job, once and not twice. My tensioner went out and most mechs. recommend doing that to cut the cost down or energy. Especially if you use the a/c a lot, that is what made my tensioner go out. the fan clutch comes on and off and tensioner is put on more stress again, they just wear out. Good luck!
What weight oil should be used in a 1998 Chevy venture with close to 84000 miles on it?
i have a 2000 venture warner bros package and i use only mobil 1 filter and i have 102000 miles and then i use fully senthetic mobil one oil 10w40 with a quart of lucas fully senthetic oil stabilizer. it has never run better as far as no dry starts, it never clicks or taps..now it does cost a little bit more but you don't have to change your oil as offten.the extended proformance oil is recommended to change only every 15,000 miles as aposed to every 3 or 4 thousand miles. so you do the homework and decide how you want to treat your engine.
What does it mean when it says pass key on your 99 Chevy venture van?
This means that you have to program your key. To find out how to do this look in your owner's manual or find out here.
It would help if you asked a question or described symptoms instead of
being so vague that changing the tire might be the correct answer.

How do I replace a rear wheel hub assembly 2000 sienna?
It is very easy -
1) release parking brake and block wheels - jack up car.
2) remove brake drum - but leave brake shoes in place
3) reach around back and pull ABS connector from back of Hub assembly (back by axle spring)
4) Using a 15mm deep socket and an extension remove the 4 nuts that hold the HUB assembly on (the socket passes easily through the holes on the hub face between the lug studs)
5) If the hub assembly does not easly pull off after the nuts are removed try this: Pass a long 7 inch 3/8" bolt through on of the holes in the hub face between the lug studs - on the back of the hub face place a washer and nut - so that as you tighten the bolt tip against the brake backing plate the nut and washer will push out on the hub face forcing the HUB loose from the brake backing plate. (Like a gear puller)
6) installation is the reverse of removal - I use some anti- sieze on the nuts and back of the hub so the next time you remove it - it is easier.
7) besure the hook up the ABS sensor on the back of the hub
8) the nuts on the hub should be torqued t0 59 foot pounds.
should take about 30 minutes start to finish.
PS a good diagnostic for the hub being bad is your ABS light comes on!
An oil pump? wow..not really a do it yourselfer type job. If you are loosing oil pressure, that may be due to a bad crankshaft, bad engine, or a plugged up oil pickup in the oil pan. The oil pump is right where the oil pickup connects to in the oil pan. Good luck
