It should have a circuit breaker in the fuse box.

Remove the door panel. Find the motor and drill out the rivets or get the old motor out by any means necessary. Unplug the motor

Bolt in your new window motor and plug it back it. Before you replace the door panel, turn your car back on and make sure that the window motor is working. If it works replace the door panel. If not check the fit of the motor and the wiring.

takes about 3 hours your first time if you have all the tools you need and know how to get the door panel off.

I have a 91 and just had the rear window replace by a window installer. Remove all screws, use a small pri-bar to remove panel and then remove molding around the window. Lower the window about half way down and using a bar hold the window frame steady drill out two rivets and loosen two bolts holding the sliders. These are inside the panel. Pull old frame out and put new window in from top. We used short bolts to install new window in where rivets were drilled out and reassemble. Good luck.

spray silicone lubricant on the rails of the window roller upper. clean it first.

First go on eBay and look for a window switch. I found one for about half of the price the dealer wanted. You will need a star shaped screwdriver adapter of some sort and just take two of them out inside the door handle where you grab the door to shut it. Once you get it out, just unclip the wiring clip and attach it to the new switch and put back in door.

NO DONT BUY A NEW 1 .... try this first it worked for me.. i took apart the switch panel and was gonna put the back window switch in the drivers side but i carefully took the WHOLE switch apart down to nothing. Then i bent back the contacts so they were usable again and WALLA it works great and has ben for over 3 years knock on wood

Disconnect battery. Remove inner door panel. Unplug connector. Drill out rivets (or remove screws if previously replaced); on forward regulator mounting plate; remove 3 motor mounting rivets/screws. Push reg. mounting plate outward to remove motor. Reattach new motor to regulator and harness temporarily. Recon. battery and confirm that it works. If so, tighten all hardware and reinstall panel.

First you have to remove all the screws on the door cover and remove door cover. Then get through plastic, here you need to roll down the windows you will see a cross brace set up here is where it can get tricky if the window was busted you need to remove the old brackets that are still in place in that case if not you work the new glass through the window openings on the door it can take some time and may gt fustrating but it usually is an easy slide then you place the new bracket connectors in the brace tighten test window a couple of times and the you put everything back together

to reset the windows , with the ignition on hold the 2 front window switch`s up together for about 5 seconds and that should reset them ,,

AFTER the door panel is off,LOOK 4 3 Dimples where the motor is,they should B in a Triangle pattern about 3 inches apart.Drill 3 - 1/2 inch holes 2 access the 3 5/16 inch screws.B sure 2 wedge or catch the window when U take out the last screw because sometimes the window will drop and break.

When my back window would not roll down, I checked the rear window wiper assembly. The blade assembly needs to be down in a certain position before the window rolls down. Mine happened to be a little stuck up in between the window and the black insulation. Just wiggle the wiper down a little and try again.

If it is not a bad switch, the cable moving the window up and down probably came loose or broke. The window regulator comes as an assembly which includes the motor, cable and track. It costs around $70.

The passenger window on mine did this. I have found that if I grasp the top of the window and move it forward, toward the front of the car it gets back on track and works fine.

On mine I removed the motor and cleaned the commutator on the armature.

A friend found his to be the switch on the door.

It is most likely a broken window regulator or bad electric motor. Don't know about the cost of the motor but the regulator will run $40-$70 + labor to install.

The switch, or relay, for that window is faulty, or worn out (since drivers window is most used). Replace it.

wind the window to the bottom and hold the button for about 5 seconds. Then wind to the top and lift the button for about 5 seconds. Do this for each window in turn
