You'll need to cut the wiring harness out of a donor car that has a matching efi system and transplant it into yours. You'll also need the eec computer from the passenger side dash of the donor car. I would recommend using an early nineties system as they have the mass air sensor on the intake instead of the less useful speed density unit. All though you would have to remove that from the intake of a 90's 302 and transplant it if you're intake is meant for speed density. Worth the upgrade if you plan to do any mods for hp

Flushing the radiator may help with the cooling problem but not necessarily make the engine run smoother. If it is a 6 cyliner engine check for a possible leaking lower intake manifold gasket. If the LIM gasket is bad, it may be leaking coolant into the oil and possibly into the cylinders. Also it may leak externally or it may leak internally. Go to http://www.gaoc.com for more info on this problem. If this is the case, it is a serious problem and you shouldn't drive the car until you get it fixed. I have owned these cars in one form or another since 1994 and the radiator leaves a lot to be desired. The radiator seems to clog very easily. So it requires a lot more maintenance that GM likes to admit. I have never had a problem with the thermostats and only had one water pump failure. I also have never had a problem with the fan but, like others have said, they should be checked as well GOOD LUCK!! Sometimes having the radiator flushed will help; however, it may be your themostat is sticking causing the motor to run hot. If this is the case, you should get a new themostat installed. Also check that the fan is running with the engine hot and in idle. The fans wear out may need replacement. It may also be the fan control circuit. I had that problem! Make sure your radiator cap is not missing the seal! Without the seal pressure is not kept in which will cause the engine to overheat! Simple problem, cheap fix!

It's screwed into the intake manifold, toward the left as you're looking from the front of the car. It's not on top, but hard to see, behind the fuel rail assembly. You'll have to peek past #1 and #2 fuel injectors and their attendant hoses and you'll see a hose attached to a threaded fixture on the intake assembly. That's the PCV valve. I've been thinking of replacing mine even though it checks out fine, but not really looking forward to it, since it's in a reasonably inaccessable place. At least the valves are cheap and you only have to replace them every 30,000 miles or so. Best of luck...

The Scion tC has a timing chain and probably won't have to be serviced over the life of the vehicle. The Honda has a belt and a tensioner that will need to be changed every 90,000 miles at a cost of near $500.00. The water pump should be replaced on both with the same mileage. You choose.

This is how you will replace the front brakes on a 2000 Saturn Sc first you will jack the car up with jack stands. You will then remove the front wheels, next remove the upper caliper to mount bolt only. Then you will pivot the caliper downward to access the pads, you will remove the old pads and install the new pads. You will use a 'C' clamp and a old pad to bottom the caliper piston and you will pivot the caliper back into place and re-install the bolt.

You need to look for the firing order for your specific engine. That's the order you place the plug wires in. Make sure the rotation of the distributor matches the firing order.

On the E150 (1996 is my model year), the TPS is mounted on the bottom of the throttle body. Usually you need to remove the throttle body to access the TPS.

It is important to know what it means when a warning light comes on. If the ABS light comes on, it means that there is a problem with the brake system within the car.

if its the black guards on the rear doors or the side sliding door or barn doors, you just pull them off. they make a loud snapping noise and need to be pulled w/ some force sometimes. start in one corner and pull or push until you get 1 of snaps out then when you have some leverage you can usually pull the rest of it off. then they snap back into the square holes when you want to put them back in.
