First, you need to want to stop. It's not going to do any good to read this answer but not want to quit. Next, place a barrier between your thumb and your mouth. While genetics can play a role in determining physical attributes relevant to sports performance (such as muscle fiber composition or height), the development of athletic talent also involves environmental factors like access to resources, quality coaching, and opportunities for training. So, while there may be a genetic component, a combination of nature and nurture typically contributes to athletic success.
Why do people think Mormons are weird people have very weird assumptions about them?
I think there are a lot of misunderstandings. One of my best friends is Mormon. Until I met her, I knew very little about Mormonism. My impression was they always wore white shirts and ties, and went everywhere in pairs (trying to convert people), and all had polygamous relationships. Now that I know her well, I know that those impressions were far from true. Things that we do not know much about, often seem odd.
Now that I am good friends with her, and have met a few other Mormons that I call friends, I have different impressions. One of them is in a monogamous marriage, one is in a monogamous relationship (and says he is a one girl kind of guy), and one is quite single (but says she wouldn't be up for sharing). They all have very different personalities from each other, but are remarkably not weird. Where as they will answer questions about Mormonism when I ask, they are very respectful of my personal beliefs, and have never tried to convince me of anything else.
There are also traditions that are different that other groups. For instance, temple garments and water at communion. Although each group has things that are unique to them (ex: Rosary Beads in Catholicism). Mormons are not as wide spread, so people are not as used to it.
I firmly believe that every religion has their haters. If you look on Google, there will be sites that are anti-general Christian, anti-Catholic, anti-Baptist, anti-Buddhist, and so on. I do have to say Mormons to seem to catch more of it than some other branches of Christianity, but I think it goes back to the lack of understanding issue.

Emo Isn't Just A Fashion, And Emo's Aren't People That Are Depressed All The Time And Cut Themselves. A Emo Is A Person With Strong Emotions That Has Classed Themself As A Emo.. So Get Your Facts Right First.
If You Have Strong Emotions Then That Means That, For Example, If An Emo Was Happy, They Wouldn't Be Just Happy, They'd Be Like They Just Wanted To Smile And Laugh All The Time, But If An Emo Was Like Really Upset, e.g. Their Best Friend Was Dead, Then They'd Get So Depressed That They'd Just Want To Die And Not Live In The Pain Any Longer, That's Why Emo's Slit Their Wrists, Which Is Like Hardly Ever.

Answer Your husband has to admit first that he has a problem. Counselling will only work if he is willing to put in the effort and you have to realise it doesn't work overnite. You haven't mentioned if drugs was involved. A physical abuser will always be an abuser unless they want to change and not because you gave him an altermatum to change. I know through experience i gave my husband too many chances he said the same go to counselling but he never changed I left him after 13 yrs i am happy now but all relationships are different. You may have that one out of a few that really love you and are willing to change. Good luck and I hope everything turns out. Remember: They don't know wot they lost until it gone for good.
What causes employees to have bad attitudes?

What is the most effective way for a very disorganized person to get organized?
Join the military. Answer Being organized is a great goal, but it usually can't be accomplished all at once. First, get a time management system. Use a computer calendar program like Outlook, a small pocket calendar, or a PDA to list important events and activities. When you have a major project due, schedule times to work on it. THEN COMPLETE THE ITEMS ON YOUR CALENDAR EACH DAY. Plan to have every project completed well ahead of time, not at the last minute. Your disorganization may also involve your environment. If your room/apt/house is a mess, set aside time on a regular basis to organize. Start with one specific area, like your bedroom or a closet. Toss or donate every item you haven't used in a year. Store what's left with frequently used items in the most convenient places. Analyze your disorganization. Do you put things off? Is the place a mess? Are you overscheduled? Try to figure out what the problem is, and solve it. Your local library will have many books on organizing your time & space. Good Luch!
A good start for messy people to try to become more organized is keeping everything in its place. Organize your space, put things back after you use them, use a calendar to note important meetings and organisations and write things down in order to not forget them afterwards. Make a schedule, use planners and check through your things occassionally, that way you'll get used to your new way to organize things.
What are two ways Themistocles influenced other people?
He was an orator who was persuasive enough to garner popular support - eg getting the Athenians to spend the proceeds of a rich silver strike, which they intended to divide up amongst the populace, on building a strong navy which helped turn back the Persian invasion.
He was an astute commander, planning the response of the Greek cities to the Persian invasion and persuading the other cities to follow his plans. As part of this he persuaded the Athenians to abandon their indefensible city, send their families to shelter in other cities, and take to the sea to fight there in the ships he had provided.
He persuaded the Athenians to clearly establish their independence - facilitating the rebuilding and extension of the city walls destroyed by the Persians, which gave Athens independence from influence by Sparta.
His popular support was based largely on his populist approach - preferring to influence affairs by appealing to the people rather than trying to persuade the aristocracy. When the aristocrats regained control as a result of their leadership during the Persian war, they exiled him - the went to Argos, was implicated in a plot and fled to Asia Minor where Persian king Artaxerxes gave him governorship of a province.

What are three reasons that people migrate from one place to another and settle in a new place?
People migrated in the past when the climate changed enough to interrupt their food supply and to escape war or to find a new territory to be safe in terms of their ethnicity or religion. In the US, migration from east to west was called manifest destiny, where people believed that land was available to them for their own farms and prosperity. These days, people leave for economic reasons, hoping to find a job that will provide a living in addition to all of the historic reasons. I believe that climate change will bring us more refugees as agriculture and living in places where the temperature or sea levels have risen so they have constant flooding.
If gasonline prices increase does the demand for motorcycles increase or decrease?
Since motorcycles normally get better mileage than cars/trucks, I would think it's obvious that the demand for them increases.
Are psychopaths really brain-damaged or is that just a facile excuse?
Psychopaths have very abnormal brain functions, severely impairing many of the processes that normal people take so for granted.
One of the problems with anything wrong with one's central nervous system is that if it's severe and pervasive enough, it can interfere with the autonomic and peripheral nervous systems as well.
In psychopaths, such maladies as what was once called neurasthenia (a state of unnatural sedation) or epilepsy (seizure disorders) are far more frequent than in the general population. Many people who are not psychopaths have some of the more than 100 forms of peripheral neuropathy, but some of these may be more common in psychopaths.
The autonomic nervous system, which prepares the body for emergencies (fight-or-flight) is erratic and inefficient in a psychopath, which can, in some situations, lead to fatal accidents; human beings have adrenaline for a reason, and the sympathetic nervous system of a true psychopath is sluggish and cannot sustain arousal for long. (In Borderline Personality Disorder, the problem is the opposite: the sympathetic nervous system responds too easily, too strongly, and way too often!)
Aside from this is the fact that a true psychopath has an extremely peculiar brainwave pattern: while awake, their brain waves most resemble a hybrid of normal waking brain waves and alpha-level sleep waves. And they often tend to sleep deeply.
Emotionally, they are cold, detached, distant, and yet deeply resentful of normal people.
They know they're missing something, and often spend most of their typically short, tragic lives avenging themselves on others for having what they themselves cannot ever enjoy.
So they are not truly emotionless, but they do not love, do not know true joy, and are hostile and destructive.
This ISN'T the work of the Devil; it's Nature gone horribly awry. ANYTHING THAT CAN DAMAGE THE DEVELOPING NERVOUS-SYSTEM IN A FETUS OR VERY YOUNG CHILD CAN CAUSE OR SEVERELY EXACERBATE THIS CONDITION.
