there should be a routing diagram on or near the top of the radiator. get a long pry bar and depress the idler arm to put slack in the old belt and remove it. installation is the reverse of removal, routing per the diagram. it'll take some fanaggling but you can actually get the belt around fan with out removing it.

Where is and how do you replace the speedometer light on a 1994 Pathfinder?

First remove the trim below the steering column. To do this, remove to 2 screws at the bottom of it. One is by the hood release and the other is on the right side in the same place. It pops off, and exposes 2 screws which hold the gauge cover on. Remove these two screws, and the 2 in the top of the plastic cover. You may be able to remove the bulb now. If not, remove the screws holding the gauge assembly in place and pull it out. There will be a bulb holder in the back (round thing) which can be unscrewed, and the bulb can be replaced. Assembly is opposite of disassembly

The reverse lights don't work on your 1986 Mercedes 190e it isn't the bulbs or the fuse is there a switch or something that may need replacing and how do you fix this?

It might be one of the wires going to the lights is broke. You can easily find that by crwling under the car with a light and go up and down your wires trying to find a break in it/them.

What could be the reason for the valves knocking on the initial starting of a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?

Hydraulic lifters will rattle a little when the engine first starts if the oil has leaked out. Typically that doesn't take too long to go away. Often the knocking noise when an engine first starts is because of worn rod bearings or "piston slap". If there is too much gap in the rod bearings you'll have some knocking when you first start that will last until oil has filled the oil lines. Piston slap takes a little longer to go away, and that's because it's a noise that's caused when the skirt of the piston pops from one Sid of the cylinder to the other. A worn piston will leave too much clearance at the bottom of the cylinder, allowing the piston to slap back and forth when it's running. As the engine warms, the piston expands and usually the noise either goes away or diminishes considerably.

It's often a guessing game to figure out which part is worn and causing the problem.

Will a front grill from a 1994 Nissan Pathfiner fit on a 1995 Nissan pickup?

Yes! I did this to a 1994 Nissan 4x4. But you will also have to buy the headlights and marker lights. The metal behind the grill is all the same between the pathfinder and pickup truck from back then. The only other thing you will have to do is change the plugs on the end of the wiring harness for the lights but it is really simple.

When do you change your timing belt on a 1991 Nissan pathfinder?

Must be changed every 60,000 miles. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have internal engine damage.

Your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder windshield wipers front and back do not operate you have checked the fuse box Is there something that would make them both not work?

If your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder front and back windshield wipers do not operate, it could possibly be the motor. After checking the fuse box and they still are not working, it is possible the motor will need to be replaced.

Where is the IAT sensor in a 2002 Nissan Pathfiner?

I know that in the 3.3l engine the sensor is located behind the driver side fog light, check that area very carefully and you should see it attach to an intake tube/snorkel/intake resonator box!!! Luck with that!!!!!

How do you install an aftermarket CD player in a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder?

This is a fairly easy task to complete. First The original radio is the same size as a lot of different aftermarket radios. I never did this, but I changed an aftermarket radio for another in a 92 pathfinder. It is fairly easy to get behind the radio by removing the piece of plastic that is on the floor, and tat is just some screws and clips. You can also easily remove the trimming around the radio looking for the same steps. Once that is done, just remove the wires from the back of the radio, look for any srews on the front of the radio and try to slide it out. When you have a new radio, make sure you get the wireharese also for this vechical. Conect the harense to the wires that come with the new radio, and attach that to the clip that is in the pathfinder already. THis is were you have to read the instrctions that came with the radio since they have a few methods of holding them in, but generally it is a metal cage type of thing you slide into the old space the radio was in, bend a few tabs to hold that in, then slide the new radio in making sure to conect all the wires and the cable for the antena (an adaporter comes with the harnes that you will need to use so make sure that is conected all ready.) Once it is all conected and almost done, test it and make sureit works. Once it works finish it off by makeing sure the radio is locked into place and puttin the two pieces of trim back on. Please make sure youtake all safety precautions, like disconect the battery, and make sure all the wires are in good condition and all of this stuff Also sorry for the general instructions, but it should be enough to getyou through this.

Why is your spark plug getting coolant on it on a 97 cr250?

It sounds as though you might have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Do not run the motor until it is fixed as the coolant will work its way down ito the oil and distroy the bearing in the rest of the motor.

Why are both my dashboard and taillights out on my 1994 pathfinder?

Did you check all the fuses? Other things would be a wiring harness connector becoming unseated or dirty, all the bulbs are burnt out or a wire is cut.

What size wiper blade do you need for a 95 Nissan Pathfiner rear window?

Where is the stereo amplifier in a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?

Older model Nissan pathfinders have an amp located in the passenger side rear quarter panel. It is a Clarion Model EN_966N. It is basically a piece of junk and should be removed and new wires run when replacing the stereo head unit and/ or speakers.

I just worked on my 1994 Pathfinder (same stereo arrangement as a 1995), which had a blown amp. As described above two amps are in the passenger side rear quarter panel. They are both accessible if you remove the side wall plastic interior trim piece which is about about 10 inches wide by four feet long. The trim piece is held in place by about 6 plastic pins.

I originally was going to buy a replacement amp but thought instead that I could use the power from my new stereo unit to power the old stock speakers.

I was not eager to cut the speaker wires since, sometimes you can get wire harnesses that have the wrong color wires. Instead I soldered together the pins from the amp connectors using the wiring diagram as a guide. I soldered the two appropriate pins together for each channel of each speaker; +right rear to the other +right rear and so on. After the soldering was done i put some electric tape on the bare wires, and plugged it into the harness. The speakers were now connected directly to the front unit. This allowed me to bypass the amps and use the power from my new replacement stereo unit to power the old stock speakers.

Other web pages advise you to totally rewire the vehicle, buy new speakers, buy new amps, and so on, but if all you want to do is update your stock stereo unit (and bypass the amp); this might work for you too.
