Police searching a vehicle?

Law enforcement can search your vehicle for a few different reasons. Fist off they need to have what called probable cause. Basically that is a reason for them to search it in the first place. Let's say you're pulled over and the officer smells an odor of a controlled substance or any type of an alcoholic beverage or any type of narcotic. That is his probable cause to search the vehicle. Or if anything that is illegal is in plain sight that gives them reasoning as well. Now you can refuse the search, but most law enforcement can obtain a search warrant for your vehicle in a matter of minutes. Now they also have what's called search incident prior to apprehension. That means if you're arrested they can search your car no questions asked, because you were arrested and it's for officer safety. But they can only search the areas you had immediate access to. But if you and your passengers were all arrested and they had access to the back seat and anywhere else, that can be searched as well.

Does a car dealership have legal right to hold your title once you have completely paid that specific car off?

Whose NAME is the title in? Yours, or the dealership's? When you bought the vehicle, the auto dealership would supposedly transfer the title to you, but would also place a "lien" on the vehicle.

IF THE TITLE IS IN YOUR NAME, simply tell the dealership to hand it over, and call the authorities if they refuse.

IF THE TITLE IS NOT IN YOUR NAME, then you just may have a problem requiring the services of an attorney, assuming of course that you have fully paid for the vehicle.

If you bought your wife a truck and its in both of your names and she moved out can you get it back or sell it the truck is paid for?

If you bought it for her and the judge asks that question and you say "Yes", Its hers.

If its her only means of transportation and you have your own vehicle, Its hers.

If she took the kids, and she has no other means of transportation, Its hers.

Pretty much you will have to prove she does not need it.

The only way you can get it, Is, She needs a vehicle and You cannot ever say that it is hers and yours is yours.

If you steel it from her, There is nothing she can do until she has a judgment, In other words, The cops cannot do anything to you.

You need to do something soon.

Good luck.

Can you find out if there is a lien on a house you want to purchase?

Purchasing a house is probably the biggest investment you will make in your life. As such it is advisable to make the purchase using the services of an attorney or lawyer. It will be their job to find this sort of thing out for you. It will cost you a bit of money to hire them but if they make a mistake they can be made to compensate you, if you do the purchase yourself and make a mistake you may lose a lot more money than the attorney's fees.

Does Remington make a 243 caliber Model 700 in the XCR?

There was a XCR (looking) 243 that had a 24" barrel.

I'm not saying that it was an XCR, just that the stock looks identical to what is currently designated an XCR.

I'd like to know what the earlier example was called?

I have one (got it used) and to date don't have a clue what model 700 it is! Good Luck, PC

No title can you write a bill of sales?

Depending on what state you are in and if the title was ever in your name. If it was in your name you can go to DMV and get a Release of Interest to use as title If not in your name then call the police and ask them about hulk slip or how you can dispose of car If car is not extensively damaged then you probably won't get hulk slip. If you do follow instrucions on back of hulk slip you can then sell car. you can also ask DMV how to do this. Hope this helps, Kathy

How do you write a function rule?

Ok let's start with an example

x y

0 5

1 8

2 11

3 14

ok first you would figure out what are you doing in "x"? you are adding 1.

what are you doing in "y"? you are adding 3.

so you put the output (3) over the input (1)

so it would be 3/1... which equals 3. so that would be 3x. you would multiply that by the input. so 1 times 3 is 3. and 2 times 3 is 6, ect ect. get it?

OK LET'S GO TO A HARDER ONE!!!

x y

1 3

2 7

3 11

4 15

5 19

ok so ask your self what is "x and y" doing? well x is adding 1 and y is adding 4 right?

so you put 4 over 1 which would be 4/1= 4x.

so multiply that by the input, for example: 4 times 1 is 4 right? but its not 3! so what do you have to do to 4 to get to 3? SUBTRACT 1! another example: 4 times 2 is 8 right? but its 7! You subtract one to get to 7!

So the rule would be: 4x - 1

get it? i know this is long but it will really help you, if you want to get an A+, listen to me! :)

What must you do if it has been over 7 years since your vehicle has been repossessed and you do not know what number to call if you wanted to fix this problem?

My friend if its been over 7 years since your vehicle was repoed i would just wait a little longer a it should take care of its self they dont generally stay on for more then 7-10 years any way. Once something is on your credit the only way it's coming off is if you dispute the legitimacy of it. If you are able to prove your case then by law the reporting agency must remove the blemish. If your car was repossessed and that shows on your credit then it will be there forever. The only thing that makes it appear as though it does not exist is time. Most people you would go to for a loan will look back 3-5 years. They can look back as far as 10 though and most major items stop showing after 7 years such as judgements, liens, forclosures, repossessions and bankruptcies. But they are still on the history somewhere. If a dealership was to finance you now and the 7 year old repossession showed up but since then you have taken care of your creditors then they should not consider that a real issue. If you have a pattern of unpaid or late payments since the repossession then they will look at that more so then anything else. Doesn't matter if you make a million dollars a year. If your not willing to spend it on loan payments no one wants to finance you.
