Their is no standard size per say. Many older cars have a single DIN size opening sometimes also referred to as I or J size. Newer cars and many GM products have double DIN size or a size that is almost half the difference between the double DIN and single DIN. Certain German cars have an E size radio that is slightly higher and significantly wider than a single DIN. More likely than not a single DIN or size J or I will fit your car with a custom bracket and fascia. A good source of information on what will specifically fit your car can be found from a retailer named Crutchfield.

Banks and recovery agencies don't have time to babysit rims and special after market items. Here's the trick: if you plan on skipping the car payments, take the after market items off before the repoman gets there. Just a thought. Here's another view.....with the fancy rims, the vehicle may get more at the auction so you may end up owing the bank less after it is all done.

You have to go thru the Florida DMV to get the application for title.

My advice is to get in touch with your local registration office and they can set you up with the required paperwork and help you fill it out.

I have been car sales for 7 years and Nebraska law is that it takes 1 to buy but 2 to sell. What this means is that you could put a car in say your wife and your name without her permision but to change the title "sell" you both would need to sine the title.The long and short yes you would need the others permision to re-title the car. Just the opposite in Kansas. Traded in a car titled to myself and my wife and bought one titled to myself and daughter. No problem selling the car with only my signature, but could not register the new one without my daughter's signature.

You can't transfer a motor vehicle when you know there's a lien on it. The lien would be reflected on the title and a prudent buyer wouldn't take title that is encumbered by a lien.

get upset and demand to deal with the sales manager. money talks, and your salesman is being greedy. if you pay a penny more than dealers invoice then you are not using your moneys power to its full extent.. flash the cash and if they dont suck up in a big way threaten to take your business elsewhere. commissions and doc fees and all the other ways they come up with to drain money out of you is for the people in a low bargaining position, you are sitting in the drivers seat in this deal so tell "them" how it is going to be.

The first thing you should do is contact the bank or financial institution. They will USUALLY be willing to make arrangments for payment and as long as you keep those arrangments you will get your car back. Keep in mind however they will most likely require you to pay the repo fees as well as redemption fees. Sometimes they will just roll the fees into the end of the loan so that you dont have to come up with so much money right away ... besides they get to collect intrest on it that way. Once you keep the arrangements with the bank they will issue paperwork to the repo company or auction saying the vehicle can be released and you will get a phone number to call to go pickup the vehicle.
