The access panel is located on the floor in between driver and front passenger seats next to the emergency brake. The seats are easily removed and some of the carpet needs to be pulled back.

If you have a Winnebago Eurovan, the roof is a PVC-compound that is difficult to repair. I had cracks in my '95 roof and tried all kinds of repair solutions. None of them worked. Waste of time and money.

The older westfalias were fibreglass and a breeze to repair.

In the end, I was fortunate enough to find one through a salvage yard. $1500 all in - for the second-hand roof, cleaning of canvas and install of roof.

Lots of people have luck with roof racks on these vehicles, but given the hassle and expense of roof replacement, I would advise against carrying anything on the roof.

Save your money. When you get enough just ride around a fair size city and when you see a VW bus make an offer. Cash money is hard to turn down. Of course, you should plan on spending anywhere from $300-1,000 more to get it to where it is a reliable ride. Finding a VW bus is not as hard as finding a good VW mechanic. Where there is a will there is a way. You may have to wait a while but if you have patience the car of your dreams will fall right into your lap. Happy hunting!

Most auto parts stores sell a kit that includes an air fitting adapter for the spark plug hole, an over-center tool to compress the spring, and a set of instructions. You'll need the kit, an air compressor, a set of seals, and a couple hours of your time.

Use a name brand such as Prestone. If you buy "Concentrate", don't forget to dilute the product with 50% water. You can pour half the container into an empty gallon jug (another anti-freeze container or a clean milk jug) and fill the remainder with water. You can also buy "Pre-Mix" that is already diluted as well, if you want to avoid this step.

early passat fuse box was by drivers knee, later ones are on the end of the dash board behind a panel. You have to open drivers door the prise off the cover, there is no screws or bolts, even though panel feels tight you have to grit your teeth and pull hard.

on the front of the gearbox there is a Black plastic pipe with a lid going over it, take the lid off and top up. Be care full not to over fill. This is on the T4 2.5TDi. The black pipe dimensions is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter and 4 inches long

If you stand up that bike up oil will pass by the rings, and piston and possibly get into your oil filter depending if your intake valves are closed or open. Not like the good ole 2 strokes, these quads have become very advanced dont risk it....

i have a 99 cougar 2.5l and yes they have a sensor if u change pads and theys ask u if it has sensor say yes

Only '99 Cougars had brake wear sensors, all other years did not. So your '02 does not have the sensor.

EPC means: Electronic POWER Control. Computer on board that runs everything including engine management. Get to a VW repair shop before the car quits running all together. It will run in backup mode and will run terrible before it finally shuts everything down. Don't ignore this warning light EPC in VW's.

92 and 93 should be the same I believe. If this is correct the first thing I do is remove the plug that it as the end of the panel towards the lock then remove the screw and the mirror cover near the hinges (inside). Then I take a rubber mallet if the door panel has never been remove and tap it from the bottom to loosen it up. Then sliding it straight up and not away it will come out.

Air lock in cooling systems has became a problem in many autos in recent years because of there design,mainly the radiator is not the highest point in the cooling system.For that reason many manufacturers have put bleeders in the system, usually at the thermostats .The easiest way to bleed the system is to raise the vehicle so the radiator is the highest point in the system.remove the cap and let the car run until the thermostat opens,this will burp the air out of the system,be careful of hot coolant and steam escaping the radiator.Then shut off and lower vehicle,and top off radiator and coolant tank.

An oil cooler extends the life of an engine by specifically keeping the oil 'cooler' that what the regular cooling system can do (which is designed to cool the entire engine). If your car has some SEEPAGE around the cooler and/or lines that is not the end of the world; but if it LEAKS repair it. Since it is external to the engine I would not expect it to be a major repair.

on top of motor there is bleeder valve start car and bleed untill solid water comes out.

it is brass so excessive force can sheer off the bolt head.
