look with a light to see where coolant is leaking from. whatever part is found to be leaking should be changed. If the car may not be worth a proper repair you can try a cooling system sealer to see if it might stop the leak

All the hoses go soft and explode.

If it is clean, undamaged, and in good working condition.....NO. Since the radiator needs to be removed, to remove the engine, now is a good time to have it cleaned and checked.

take them off, then get a cloth and clean it. And you can hoover it up a little.

On the bottme of the radiator should be a small plug either on the bottem left or right.It is the radiator drain. after you have drained all the fluid refill the radiator and continue flushing water tru it it could take up to 3 times of filling it running it and draining it..

ok your going to think i am crazy but trust me on this one i am a ase certified master heavy truck mechanic.drain the coolant from your vehicle and fill with water add 1cup of cascade dish washing detergent to every 2gallons of water. start your vehicle and drive it until it reaches normal operating temp. then let it idle for 15-30 minutes. allow engine to cool off then drain cooling system again. refill with water (no cascade this time) and repeat until water comes out clear again. refill with correct coolant/water mix. also do not use tap water in final mix as it has all kinds of minerals in it use distilled water this cuts down on deposits forming inside your radiator and cooling passages

theres alot of factors that come into play. ive seen some do up to 25mpg and as low as 11mpg both on highway. you can bank to get somewhere around 13mpg or so

if there is not a drain valve cock on the bottom left part of the radiators wall facing the fire wall the other option will be to unfasten the water return hose gently pull it of the radiator until all the fluid has drain repeat if necessary if fluid is very contaminated, all this has to be perform only when the car is cold never after operating the vehicle.

This usually means that a belt is going out on the car and needs to be replaced. Usually the time belt makes this noise. Also this could be your fan and that sometimes needs to be replaced. This could be inaccurate, but that is the most logical. No matter what it is best to get these small problems fixed right away because it will just be more expensive when your car breaks further because of this.

It's the connection at the wiring harness to the relay. If you unhinge the glove box, there is a black box with a wiring harness that plugs upward into the bottom - this attachment comes loose, best fix I have found is to make the connection tight, and then tape the harness in place so gravity can't work it loose anymore.

The answer is yes and no it depends.

Top up with correct water anty-freze mix, take cap off expansion tank, turn on engine and allow to idle for 3 minuets or so, you can watch the bubbles coming up in the expansion tank. strongly massage the return pipe, big pipe on the top of the rad left side as you face it, coolant should shoot into the expansion tank as you do this. once it is cool check if you need to top up coolant mix and off you go.

ps do not take the cap of the expansion tank when the engine is hot.
