No you do not have to get new rotors just have them resurfaced. If they are to much warpage then you may need new ones. I would try getting them resurfaced before you replace them.

Well to replace the rotor you must take off the hub. to take off the hub you remove the cap. then there is a snap ring you must push together and pull the inside of the hub out. After that you need a special socket that has 4 prongs on it. take the nut off. then pull the washer out and take off the other nut witch needs the same socket. then your rotor is free to come off just pull.

The S-10 rotor is also the wheel mount. There is a cap that needs to be removed from the end of the rotor. Under the cap is a pin locked nut, you need to remove the pin by bending the top of it carefully and then pull it out.

Remove the nut holding on the rotor. the rotor should slide off now replace the rotor

reverse the order being sure to apply new grease to the system.

Watch for a small washer-type spring clip on one or more of the studs. This is for manufacturing purposes as it holds the rotor in place until the wheels are installed. Use a screwdriver and pry the spring clip off and discard it (if present). You won't need it later.

Next, use a 2 1/2 lb engineering hammer and tap around the radius of the rotor being careful not to smack your fingers. You may want to use some considerable force with the hammer, but even small taps will slowly move the rotor off the shoes.

Just take your time and try to work around the rotor evenly. It will be much easier if you tap evenly around the rotor since it won't get crooked on the shoes and cause binding.

Loosen the bolt at the top of the caliper assembly (should be a 1/2 or 9/16). Pull the assembly down. If its hard, just tap it at the top with a hammer or pry it off with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the old brake pads and compress the caliper with a c clamp. Install the new pads and raise the assembly back into place. Tighten the bolt and you're done. Note: start with the side under the master cylinder. There should be no need to add any brake fluid. Just pump about 5 or 6 times omce you finish.

Use a nail or small pointed item and a hammer. That's how I did mine

After the nut is properly fastened back on use a punch or flat screwdriver with a hammer and repinch nut.

Remove Wheels re-install two lug nuts to hold rotor in place Loosen both Caliper hold down bolts Totally remove one bolt only swing caliper using remaing bolt as a pivot point support flexible brake line slide outer brake pad out use "C" clamp or other like tool to retract piston using inner brake pad for leverage remove inner brake pad

Install both brake pads\ pivot caliper back down and secure remove lugs nuts install wheel

REMEBER TO PUMP BRAKES TO RESET PADS AGAINST ROTOR PRIOR TO MOVING CAR.

remove master cylinder cap, raise vehicle and take off tire, remove caliper mounting bolts, detach the caliper and be very carefull of brake hose.hang up caliper with something to prevent breaking hose. use a screwdriver to pull up the retaining spring on the outside pad while sliding it out of the caliper. unclip the inner pad from the piston, before putting on new pads, compress piston back in bore with a big c-clamp! place old pad on piston to compress. installation is in reverse order! when done do not forget to put master cap back on.
