How do fix the AWD Disable light on a Buick Rendezvous?

Find out why the light is on and fix the problem the Versatrak system is complex so its not a easy question

I have a Rendezvous with the same problem. The AWD Disable light was on constantly along with the antilock brake light. It caused the acceleration to die when I get past a certain RPM too. The fix was to check the wire pairs that go through corrugated wire tubing and a connector and then into the inner wheel of each wheel. Each wheel has a wire pair going into it on the inside of the wheel. The wires are for reading the wheel speed (RPM) for the computer. I found the wire connector had pulled apart. The wires werent long enough for the car to make a hard turn and happend to pull out during a sharp turn while parking. I released some of the wire bundle clamps that gave the wires more room for turning and then just plugfed the wire connector back into the other connector plug and the problem went away. If it doesnt fix the problem, you should check all the other wires on all 4 wheels for a disconnected or broken wire.

How do you remove third row seat from suburban?

On older Suburbans, 80's &90's, there is a lever that is positioned horizontally behind the lower cushion. (Middle of seat, down by the floor.) Pull up on this lever or bar while pulling up at the back of the seat; the seat should pivot on the front pivot connect points, releasing the rear connect points. Once the rear connect points are separated from the floor, pull the whole seat back, pulling the front connect points free. The seat back can be folded forward by releasing the lever in the back corner on the passenger side.

Where is the expansion valve on a 2002 buick rendezvous?

The expansion valve is attached to the evaporator core, behind the center of the dashboard. Look under the hood and locate the point where the A/C lines go from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment and on the other side is the evaporator core. Good luck my friends.

How do you change the serpentine belt on a 2001 Kia Sephia 1.8L?

Your KIA has individual belts for the AC compressor-power steering pump and the alternator. These are not considered serpentine belts, just drive belts. You do have a cam timing belt that runs around both of your camshafts and crankshaft pulley. This maybe what you are thinking of. The camshaft timing belt is suppose to be changed after 60,000 miles (belt runs around $100). This 1.8L engine is a non-tolerance engine and if the timing belt should break, plan on replacing all the valves in the head. I just finished doing this job for a friend last weekend. Parts cost close to $400 from the parts store. Repair shop wanted $1700 for this same job. It is alot cheaper to replace the belt before it breaks. Note: When you replace the timing belt, replace the water pump while you are in there. First step to replacing the water pump is to remove the cam timing belt. Good luck.

What is the normal operating coolant temp for your 1986 corvette?

Mine runs 180 on the hiway, and around 210 around town with the ac on The OEM owners manual says that anything between 180 and 255 is normal depending on ambient temperatures. This is high in my opinion, but as long as the fans are kicking in, the thermostat is working, there is sufficient coolant in the system, and the radiator cap is working properly, I'd say you're in good shape if it's in that range.

How do you change the lights behind the heater controls in your 2004 buick rendezvous?

What kind of freon does a 94 Geo Metro need?

the older freon-very expensive. have it flushed and retro fitted with the new R134A... you can do it yourself-buy a refresh kit at WalMart..about $30.oo Now for the correct answer. There is only one kind of FREON. It is the brand of R-12 Refrigerant made by Dupont. What you need to do to avoid spending $100-$150 per pound is retrofit it to an R-134A system. Production of R-12 was ended on Dec. 31, 1995 since it destroyed the ozone layer. However R-134A will be done sometime around 2009 since it is a green house gas (global warming). By the way, if you want to avoid a $32,500 dollar fine for not having a license to work on refrigeration systems, pick up the EPA section 609 test book. The test fee is $15.00. Well worth the test fee compared to fine or 5 years in jail. LOL

How do you remove a tire rim stuck on a brake rotor?

Make sure the vehicle is on a jackstand or very safely supported. Spray PB blaster or another penetrating lubricant in to the lug holes on the wheel. Let it set up for a little while.Believe it or not a can of coke will also work. Get a hammer and use sharp blows where the tire and wheel meet on the BACKSIDE of the wheel rotate the wheel every couple of hits. I have over 12 years experience at a tire and wheel shop and this is the method. When you get it off clean the hub and any where else they make contact and put grease on those points good luck to you.

What is the stereo wiring diagram for 2006 Chevy Colorado?

I don't have the diagram but I would not suggest cutting into the existing factory wiring for GM and Chevy vehicles. If you do, you will lose all of your chimes. This includes the seat belt warning, headlight reminder, door ajar, and low fuel warning. My suggestion is to buy an aftermarket interface harness with a chime. The correct model depends on what options your vehicle has such as Bose Premium Sound and OnStar.

Scosche and Crutchfield sell the harnesses and will make sure you get the right one, but Ebay is the cheapest way to go.

Well, im not sure this answers your question, but i own a 1995 dodge stratus and when i turn it made this terrible squeeking. I sprayed down the boot on the ball joint and that solved it. What happened was that the boobt just got twisted and the rubber was squeeking. WD40 works well to spray it.
