Had a the same problem with my Corsica. At first I thought it was fuel related, I pressure test the fuel rack, check fuel filter, checked fuel pump pressure, nothing was bad. Really scratched my head on this one, then I checked my coil packs and I had a bad one. Replaced the coil packs and it ran great. There are two torx screws on the back of the steering wheel, turn your wheel to access them & remove. Pull off horn/airbag,easy does it. Disconect the wires on back & place in safe place

Remove nut holding on wheel with 13/16 socket. Pull wheel off with steerig wheel pulller.

Remove snap ring. Move Coil pack out of way.

Remove small metal band that holds on the metal star looking thing. You will need to use a steering wheel lock plate removal tool.

Now you have access to switch. remove a few torx bolts & it will be loose. Disconect the harness & pull through.

The radio will have a lot of screws that hold the radio/heater control. Remove them all until the radio comes out. You can get a block off kit either from auto zone or wall mart for a pretty cheap price. Next follow the wire down to a large silver box under the dash. Unplug and remove the box. Keep the wires in case you want to wire in an after market radio. The kit also includes an after market stereo mount. Wire a quick connect harness to your stereo and it will plug into the wires you removed from the silver box under the dash. These wires may need to be untangled a bit to reach to the new stereo.

If the cable itself is still there get a pair of Vise Grip pliers and you should be able to pull it. If the cable is broken up inside the housing then you will need to remove the grill insert. 94 is the year most vehicles were in the change-over stage from the factory from r-12 to r134, look for a yellow tag/stick under the hood as to which is in your system. It came from the factory with R12 Freon installed. Unless it has been converted to R134, then it still has R12. Due to the extremely high cost of R12, I suggest you convert it over to R134a.

The switch is on the steering column about 18 inches from the floor. Simply take 2 screws holding it on and replace it.The locck cylinder is under the steering wheel.

I asked this question the other day and nobody answered, so I figured it out myself.

The first thing you need to do is remove the rear seat cushion. To do this, run your fingers under the cushion and you'll find two release buttons. Push them both, and get that seat out of the way.

Next is to remove the side cushions underneath the seatbelt shoulder straps. You'll find a single bolt and washer in the lower corners of the side cushions. Remove the bolts and lift up on the cushions. Get those out of the way.

Now you gotta take out the third brake light. On both sides of the light, you'll find bulls-eye shaped fasteners. Using a screwdriver, push in the middle button and pull out the fasteners. Now you can remove the brake light casing. There are two bolts that hold the brake light to the back dash. Remove them, disconnect the wire and get that brake light outta the way.

To remove the back dash, there are two black screws along the front of the trim panel. Get those outta there along with the child seat restraints along the top.

Now grab that trim panel and pull it out of the way. You'll now see that the speakers are screwed in from the top down. Unscrew the speakers and pop in your new ones.

**Be aware that Kia uses a proprietary plug on the stock speakers. The positive is horizontal and the negative is vertical. I used a pair of scissors and pliers to break the plastic casing off the plug to expose the connectors that easily plugged directly into the speakers.**

I have a 4 cyl. Chevy Corsica that needed a coil pack replaced. There are two of them, one goes with the odd number cylinders ( 1 & 3) and the other goes with the even number cylinders (2 & 4) Typically, the number 1 cylinder is the firing cyliinder and if that coil pack is gone, the car should not start. My car is a rarity that actually started and ran on the 2 & 4 cylinders.

On mine the side marker lights tend to burn out alot. The seal seems to be ruptured allowing water in and burning the lights out.. many other things it could be.
