In general, you turn off an air bag light by fixing the problem that it is warning you about. The air bags are there to protect you in an accident. If they are not working, you need to fix them. Consult a trained and qualified mechanic. If this is a case where there is a passenger side air bag disable switch, there may be a key on the dash that you need to turn. It may be possible that the passenger side seat weight sensor is bad.

Yes, it is part of a very complicated & VERY TROUBLESOME system known as passlock. If you google this system you will find it's a typical problem on this model,but, you can also find enough info there to diagnose & repair yourself.

There might not be a cable. Some have an electronic pickup for the speedo, so what you will be looking for is a device with a couple of wires coming from, around the same place the speedo would normally hook up- the left side of the adapter housing for the transfer case.

If the voltage light stays on after stating the car it means you have a problem with the charging system. Possibly the alternator has gone bad. Start the car and with a volt meter check the voltage at the battery terminals. it should read between 13-14.5 volts. If not, your alternator is not working. Most auto parts stores will check your system free of charge.

I believe the fuse that protects the speedometer also protects all the gauges in the dash cluster, so if that fuse was burned out all the gauges would be dead. If only the speedometer is not working I would suspect the speed sensor in the transmission to at fault, if the wiring checks okay.

first you remove the instrument cluster cover by taking out the headlight switch, rear defrost switch ect, take out all blank covers as well, use a Phillips screwdriver and remove all screws holding it on. take out the two screws holding the cluster to the dash. take out the five screws that hold the cover over the pedals in place. now reach up behind the cluster to the speedo cable, there will be a clip that as to be drepressed with your finger while you pull it back off the speedo guage. next you pop the hood and use a long Phillips head on a ratchet or a 13mm socket and remove the hold down bolt on the cable at the transmission. pull the gear head straight out and pull the other end through the firewall towards the front of the car. you will have to slacken the rubber boots at the firewall to do this. replacement is reverse.

I had a 1989 Volvo 240 wagon that had a hard time not bottoming out on my driveway every day, so eventually the rear bumper actually FELL OFF all by itself! If the airbag light comes on in any Kia, it means that it might not work properly. In that case log on to http://www.safetyairbags.com/kia-airbags.html if you really need it to work! Take it somewhere and have your Kia airbag checked out. Were you in some kind of mild 'fender bender'? Sometimes little 'accidents' that don't seem to do any harm to anyone will start to activate the airbag to 'go off'. But then when you don't really get into an accident, it doesn't finish. If could be partially activated. It could go off for no reason. Or it might not go off at all if you are in an accident!

First you have locate the knob or the dial controls. This is what brightens the lights on your dashboard. Then you need to check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights. Most of the time the fuse needs a simple replacement.

First, sheck if your fuse is working after that see if any of your sterio cables are touching and if they are separate them and put black tape and then pop your hood and see if the tail light fuse is working and if its no change it. that what i did and it work on mine.

I had all the lights on my dash go out and discovered it was the dimmer swith. The connection had become corroded and I was able to replace it with one from the local Pick-n-Pull for $2.99. My local parts store said it would be $102.50, not including tax, IF they could get it. Best of luck to you!

1996 GL, yes. Over by the headlight switch, you can pop the plate out and move right. take out screws in the dash, most located in the vents. pop the fount of the dash out and then above the gauges you will see the lights, remove by turning the bulbs. have fun getting the dash apart!!

There is a power or ground wire hooked up backwards. (95%sure)

Purchase a GPS/GSM detector...they are cheap and easy to operate. The detector will send out a visual flashing lite or audible sound when the detector is near a tracking device. Look in the cars Wheel Wells (all)...Under Front Bumper...Inside Engine Compartment...Under Car...Back Bumper...etc.

The best way to find the hidden GPS device on your car is to follow the Battery Wires on your car to detect GPS signals. The GPS unit needs electrical power to operate.

There are a huge number of possibilities. What do you want to measure? Here are just a few:

Calipers, micrometers, scales, measuring tapes, lasers, etc. for measuring distances.

Rockwell hardness tester for measuring how hard a material is.

Thermometer

A sound meter for measuring how noisy a work place is.

Pressure gauges

Strain gauges for measure how much a part is stretched or compressed when a load is applied.

Multimeter for measuring electrical voltages and currents.

Tachometer for measuring how fast something is spinning

Possibly the alternator.

Shut off the car with the odometer showing the "Trip A".

Then, while holding down the reset button, turn the ignition to the "On" position. There will be 6-7 lines showing instead of the odometer numbers, and they will disappear one by one.

Keep holding button down. Then all "0's" will be displayed, and finally it will show the mileage.

Reset complete.

If the dash lights go on and off and the heat won't turn off and electrical noise is coming from the heater, there could be a short in the wiring on a 1998 Blazer. This is also possible if the ground wire for these items is not longer attached.

Using 5W-30 oil in summer, my Catera's low oil pressure warning and light will come on when the engine is hot. But with 10W-40 oil this condition will not occur. Oil pressure gauge may indicate low pressure, but not enough to trigger the warning or the light.

You are probably refering to warning lights for "low fuel" "ABS" "oil preasure" and "coolant temp", but for more specifics, they are listed in the owners manual under operation of the vehicle.

I am not familiar with your brand of vehicle, but can give a generic explanation of the basics. When an expert on your vehicle comes along, a more specific and detailed answer can be provided. The parking [or "emergency"] brake is engaged by a foot pedal on a lever, or by pulling by hand on a lever. Engaging the parking brake closes a switch which electrically energizes the circuit to the indicator light, turning it on. To my recollection, there are two probable causes for the circuit remaining energized after the parking brake is disengaged. 1. The switch is out of adjustment so that it does not open the circuit when the parking brake is disengaged. Proper readjustment should correct the problem. 2. The switch is properly adjusted but, the switch has failed, and remains "stuck" in the "on" position. If this is the cause, replacement of the switch will be necessary.

Remove the 2 trim plates on either side, then remove the 2 7mm screws...then pull the cover towards you and you can access the bulbs

Could be bad bulbs (double filamented) or bad dimmer switch
