The bonnet release cable breaking is a common problem in the Ford BA Falcon, and if done incorrectly removing or replacing it can result in having to replace the fuse block as well. It is best to have this done by a qualified mechanic.

First, make sure that the player is on (most usually have lights, signaling if their on.)

Then, unplug everything, and turn off you'r TV for about 30 sec

After that, plug it back in (make sure you get the cords in the right places)

then, press the eject button

If you do that several times and it doesn't work, contact a technichian

This vehicle will still be in warranty,if you have a problem,vauxhall should sort it.You could void the warranty if you start delving into it for any reason.If you should be thinking of a speaker upgrade,suggest you have a I.C.E specialist do it.

I have a 1995 Chrysler intrepid and my dash lights do not go off when i turn on my lights but I may know why yours go off. Either right beside or below the knob used to turn on the headlights is a little dile that can only go up and down. This dile is used to dim or brighten the dashlights at night. The reason your dashlights may go off is because you have the dashlights dimmed way down (gotta love little perks Chrysler came up with) so try adjusting that dile. If that doesn't work, you may have an electrical problem or the light may be blown behind the dash. This could be really expensive to fix, so be prepared. .

first you want to get in your truck put your key in the ignition and turn, once started stop turning key, put your seatbelt on and put in drive or first (manual transmissions only) now drive as you would nomally to your local dealer. they should be able to help you out for I'm sure what is a very reasonable price

For the record I am not qualified to answer this question. Here it goes:

I have a 93' 318i and I've had similar problems with my dash. I took my car to a mechanic who said it could mean you have corrosion interfering with the plug ins in the back. Solution my mechanic offered to try and clean it for 50.00$. In my case that wasn't the problem since he tried it and it didn't work. He later recommended I get a new "Instrument Cluster." I checked my local "Pick a Part" aka junk yard to find one for about a $100.00. My mechanic said he'd install it for $35.00. Prices may vary where you're from. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Answer If it is the same as a 2000/2001 - You will need a "Torx/Star" drill bit or driver to remover these screws.

(STEP1-)Open drivers door

(STEP2-)Use flathead screwdriver to pop-off panel where the fuse door is. (Pop the whole thing off...not just the fuse door) (

STEP3-)Unscrew the screw closest to the A/C vent

(STEP4-)On top of your dash, there are 2 or 3 screws with the Defrost vent...remove them and the vent

(STEP5-)Open passenger door

(STEP6-)Repeat step 2 (minus the fuse door

(STEP7-)Repeat step 3

(STEP8-)Open glove compartment

(STEP9-)There are 2 or 3 screws on the top perimeter of the glove box...remove them

(STEP10-)Using a long screwdriver or nutdriver, unscrew the two "brass-looking" screws INSIDE the glove box(on the roof of the glove box) they are right in the middle. DONT DROP THEM OR THEY WILL BE GONE FOREVER!

(STEP11-) Just start pulling it off (If you here snaps, its normal. Because it is also held in by clips) (STEP12-)Unscrew the screws all along the top of the front dash trim

(STEP13-)Now start pulling the dash trim away from the dash

(STEP14-)While it is off, you will have to unsnap the dimmer control (from behind) and unplug the cig lighter (From the back. Also, the actual lighter stays in the dash trim)

You have to remove the calibar which is removed by the two pins that is held on by the two pins on the calibar. Most times these bolts are 3/8 heads Allen wrench. Then the calibar should lift off.

It depends on what you mean by "replacement dash."

If you want to cover up the unsightly dash then a dash cap from a place like LMCtruck.com will work fine. They actually look pretty good. If you want to actually replace the dash - for example yours is so cracked you can no longer attach the instrument bezel - then you need a place like wholesaleparts.com and input your year model etc. and look under "Instrument panel" and look for either "Upper Pad" or "upper Panel." It's not easy. You have to: 1: unscrew the three bolts above the clear plastic cover of the dash 2: Unscrew the two black bolts that hold the stereo in then pop that panel out 3: Unscrew 4 gold bolts for the large panel below the steering wheel, these are just above your ankles, two of them are hidden behind the hood pull, and unsnap that panel 4: Under this panel there is a metal plate. Remove the top two screws and loosen the middle set. this allows you to access the next two screws. 5: Under the top of the metal plate are two bolts that hold the top panel in place, remove these. 6: Pull out the top panel, be careful to disconnect the two clips that latch behind the light knob before you pull the panel completely off. 7: Unscrew the bolts that hold the dash piece on, I'm sure you can figure it from here...

The piece you describe could be the piece that goes on the backside of the panel you removed to install the keyless entry (in front of driver's knees) It is used to protect knees in an accident.

you unscrew the bolts underneath the dashboard by your feet. the size of the screw should be 8mm. then gently pry away the dashboard from the interior. good luck

I would glue it with silicon and hold the edges with tape till firm.

By having it repaired by a qualified technician. It is flashing because something is wrong with the SRS. Do not ignore this and do not attempt to repair yourself. Serious injury can occur when working with the SRS.

You turn the trip odometer button on the dash.

1. First you have to remove the 8 screws to remover the cluster cover.

2. Remove the clear plastic lens.

3. Remove the cluster metal panel.

4. Remover the gauge screws.

5. Disconnect the speed odometer cable from the behind the cluster.

6. Remove the gauges.

7. Remove the 2 nuts but the check engine light and seat belt light.

8. remove the cluster housing.

9. replace the bulb.

you can use the end of a 1/2" socket extension to pull the bulb without removing the cluster housing. Bulb fits perfect and wiggle the bulb out.

Not sure if this will help or not, but a CD gets stuck in my GM car about once a year. In order to get it out, I cut off all power to the CD player by removing the appropriate fuse for about 15 seconds. I put the fuse back in, push eject, and the CD always comes right out.
