2) BLOOD POISONING- these lines could signify blood poisoning, from unclean materials and processes. See a doctor immediately- you could have a potentially fatal infection.

The exclamation light means "suprise...you've got no brakes" and more commonly,"your parking brake is on slightly" or "the switch that shuts OFF your parking brake light is defective/wire disconnected/fell off/etc." This switch should be on your park brake pedal or lever (whichever you have).Good luck!

I recently changed the front pads on my 2000 GT, and if yours are like mine, you will find that both the inside and outside pads are exactly the same. The only real difference is where you put the retainer clips on the pads. put the early warning tab on the in side so you can hear it.

Solved my own question... I found the owner's manual online and apparently on a 2001 Ford Taurus SES that light is (it's NOT the brake light, by the way): Check Transaxle Momentarily illuminates when the ignition is turned to the ON position. Illumination of this light indicates that a problem has been detected and shifting may be restricted. If this lamp remains on, have your vehicle serviced immediately.

Your brake pads need to be replaced. There is actually a sensor wire that breaks when the pad is ground down too far, interrupting a circuit to warn you of imminent pad failure.

On older models of Volkswagen this symbol was for the ESP and ASR systems, Electronic Stability Control or Anti-Slip Regulation. This is the check tire pressure light. you either have a low tire or bad sensors. Toyota sensors have a problem where if the tires are under 35psi the light eventually comes on, even if their recommended pressure is 30. The spares on the suvs may also have a sensor.
