What is a peaceful way to object a law considered unjust?

There are many ways to initiate a change in a law peacefully. A simple way to start might be to write a letter to the editor of a local newspaper. Another way is to start a petition. Writing letters to elected representatives can also be helpful. To get a government to change a law usually requires the support of many people. Starting an organization for that purpose is also a good way to effect change. A more expensive way might be to challenge the validity of the law in court.

What happens if you break your lease and you just bought a house?

If you have something that a judge can take from you, you might just end up in court.

How many times can a judgment be renewed?

A judgment doesn't expire--it is a court order and must be paid. It is different than the usual credit card bill.

It depends on the state and what the judgement is for. If it is for a debt that is not related to child support, most states give a 5-20 year time frame for the debt to be collected. Some states will grant renewal, some won't. Check on the specific laws for your state.

Will a repo man wait outside your house for you all day or night to see if you move your car from the garage?

Probably not all the time, but you will never know when he is there. Simpler to just pay up or let them take the car. Why deal with the hassle. It will not ruin your credit forever. Yes and no. it depends on how determined he is or how much he is getting paid to repo your car. He might just wait until he spots your car on the street and bam! Gone... He might even break into your garage or get a warrant to repo the car from the courts. Depends on what kind of guy he is... So pay the bill and it won't get repo-ed.

Can the repo man issue a warrant for my arrest?

A repo man can not issue a warrant for your arrest. Only a judge can issue an official arrest warrant.

Is there a cure for breathing?

In general, the cure for breathing is worse than the breathing is. Sometimes it doesn't seem so, I know. If it is that bad though, then the answer isn't ceasing to exist... it is change. Change seems impossible sometimes, seems too hard... but when it is a choice between going through the anguish of dying and the anguish of changing... change can win. I know that it seems sometimes like no one cares and that the blackness is just closing in... there is no way out. But there still is, even when we can't see it. There is still hope, and a chance at a better life... even when it seems so far away that it seems like a joke. Trust me on this one... see if the resources below can help. But even if they can't... even if it seems like nothing ever can... give yourself some time. Find someone to talk to. A friend, a relative, God... people *do* care, and are willing to help. Talking about it, getting it out in the open, is the first step toward healing. I know it feels sometimes like no one in the world cares at all... but believe me, I care. I want you to keep breathing. Please try. Once, a long time ago when I didn't really want to breathe, I was typing depressive things into the address line of my web browser... death, destruction, despair, etc. Anyway, I found this site called despair.com, and it is the funniest site, in a dry, sarcastic, non-smarmy way... I started laughing, and it was the best thing for me at that time. Another thing that helps me is to try helping someone else. Answer a couple of questions on this site, or find another way to help someone... really helps on death-wish days. Hang in there.

What should you do if your gun was stolen?

File a report with the police. Be sure to provide make, model and serial number and any other identifying information on it.

This is important for several reasons. First, there is a chance the thief will get caught. Your report will identify your gun as stolen property, and will help to put the thief where he belongs - in prison. Second, if a gun happens to be used in a crime and abandoned at the scene, having a report on file will keep you off the list of suspects. Third, there is a small chance your gun will be returned to you.
