How do you replace the rear windshield wiper motor in a 2001 Mazda tribute?
I just replaced my rear wiper motor on my Mazda tribute. With all I had read online I expected it to be impossible. What is written in most of the posts is correct. The nut that hold the motor to the outside of the glass if very difficult to remove. I will write the steps I took to remove the wiper motor.
First notice the little tab on the wiper arm where your motor is mounted. Lift the wiper arm and pull straight up using a pair of needle nose pliers, on the hump of the clip that hold the arm in place, (you do this while holding the arm in the outward position.) Then you simply (lol) pull the arm off. My arm took a lot of wiggling and pulling to remove. Then you take you pliers and remove the little plastic cover that covers the mounting nut.
This is the nut you read so much about. If your motor is seized, which was common for the 2001 mazda, you will find it on there and good. I suggest spraying it with WD 40, or better yet, liquid wrench. Let is set about and hour. Then go out and remove the nut. (sounds easy enough huh?) even with that help you will find the nut really on there. It takes a 22 mm wrench to take the nut off, (boxed end) but do not be surprised to find the nut trying to round off on you. The wrench loosened it maybe a 32 of a turn for me before I realized that if I kept that up, the nut would be round. So I took my large vice grips and clamped on. You are going to worry about breaking the glass. Just be careful. If you are a klutz like I am, you may want to use a little rag to wrap around your hand and vice grips. Just for a barrier between the tool and the glass. I realized I would have to get another nut. No way around that.
The rest is straight forward really. You then lift the tailgate and remove the plastic covering from the motor housing. You see the motor, there is a nut that holds the motor on to the left. Its way up there but you can see it. I had to loosen my tailgate (lift gate) panel to get to it but it comes off with no problem. Then you may look and ask, Where is the other nut? There is no other nut, you then shut your lift gate and loosen with your pliers, the little round flat plastic screw for a better term. (I did not first realize that was holding the motor in the Haynes Manuel did not specify that for me. The motor then comes out easily. I found my replacement motor at my local pull and pay place for $21 off of a 2003 ford escape. The nut that I ruined on mine, came off with ease off of the ford escape, so I had it to use in remounting.
Make sure before you leave the junk yard that you hook the motor up (oh, I forgot that part, Before removing the motor disconnect the grey power coupling) Hook the new motor up, turn your wiper arm on and it should work. Mine did. It saved me $45-$65 (depending on where you buy it new) and the cost of a mechanic. It can be done, and with some, but little frustration. I wish I had found a posting like this to help me.
I hope it helps you
How do you put the windshield wiper back on a 2004 rav 4?
If this question is in relation to changing wiper blades, the replacment wipers will come with step-by-step, illustrated instructions.
If you simply have to replace one without instructions, note the hook on the wiper arm. If you look at the wiper blade assembly, you'll see the attachment will look like the inside of the hook (the hook on the arm is the female part and the hooked shaped slug is the male part. Slide the arm hook through the wiper assembly in a way that the hook and slug line up (you may have to rotate the blade and make clearance to get past the end of the hook). Then snap the slug (wiper frame assembly slug) into the hook on the wiper arm. Make sure you feel and/or hear a "snap". Pull firmly to make sure its attached. Lower the arm slowly back towards the glass.

1999 Olds Intrigue wipers work but squirter doesn't- is there a pump that I can change?
Try taking the hose off the back side of the spray nozzel and see it there is fluid there. It may just be the nozzel plugged. A couple of strands of fine copper wire from an extention cord will usually clear the hole in the nozzel. The pump is located on the bottom of the windshield washer reservoir but before you take it off, listen to see if you can hear it running. If you can't hear it run, replace the pump; if you can hear it run, the hose or squirter buttons may be clogged and will need to be cleaned out.
What size are the wiper blades on a 2005 Toyota RAV4?
The 2005 Toyota RAV4 takes a 22" drivers side, 19" passenger side and a fairly specialized 12" rear wiper that is difficult to find in the stores. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are currently over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

How do you get to the windshield washer reservoir in a 1993 skylark to replace or repair it?
Remove the left fender panel in front of the wheel well. It is located between the fenderwell and the front bumper. Usually 8 sheet metal screws need to be removed.
Where is the rear wiper motor on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country?
It is located inside the tailgate - you will have to remove the trim panel. Be careful not to break the tabs which hold the "Christmas tree" retainers to the panel!
You will also have to remove the rear wiper arm. In order to do that, you will have to lift the arm, put a small screwdriver under the little retaining spring that holds the arm to the wiper motor shaft.
Once the wiper arm is removed, you will have to remove the large, narrow nut that holds the trim piece (where the washer hose passes through the tailgate) in place.
While you're there, you may want to replace the trim ring, as they often become brittle with age, and the nipple which the washer hose attaches to will break. Many Jeep dealers still stock this item, and it goes for less than $10. Don't be surprised if your old one is gray and the new one is black!
Once you get those items removed, you will have to unplug the old motor and then remove four 10mm bolts from a bracket which holds the motor to the tailgate.
How do you fix a rear windshield washer sprayer on a 2002 explorer?
I would bet that it's not the tubes but rather the little holes of the sprayers. You may want to take a pin or a needle and see if you can poke any debris (usually hard water deposits or washer fluid 'gunk') from the holes. If that doesn't work you should be able to find the tubing at a parts or hardware store.
The hole is generally through a little ball that sits in a socket. If you poke the holes and find that your spray isn't directed at the locations on the windshield that you'd like, take your pin and adjust the ball via the hole to where you'd like the spray to go.
How do you replace a rear wiper arm on a Pilot 2009?
People get terminology mixed up quite a bit so we have to clarify. Do you mean wiper arm or wiper blade? Wiper arm is attached to the spindle near the hood and is rarely removed or replaced. Wiper blade is the wiper frame assembly and rubber blade that is connected to the wiper arm and is changed very regularly.
If you just mean the wiper blade (frame and assembly), then you need to get the correct wiper blade at the Honda dealer because aftermarket options are not available. They should also give you installation instructions.
mine did same thing... just take passenger side kick panel off and the hose is comming in from top center of the mess of wires ... mine was separated there ..... it has a joint in it right there btw .. the kick panel just pulls off out then back
