Consider Yourself Lucky, You Are Not Overloading The Transmission By It Not Shifting Into Overdrive Until 45 MPH If It Shifted Into OD At A Lower Speed Say 25 to 30 MPH It Would Put Too Much Load On The Transmission That Most Likely It Would Fail Before Long.

I have the same problem whit my Honda fourtrax 300 1992. I think that its related to the carburetor but I'm not sure though...

Oxygen sensor

I have a 2002 Accord and the dome light, interior courtesy lights on the doors, and the map lights stopped working. They all work off one fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse for 93 cents and fixed the problem. .

Before you worry about your fuse, i would check your doorpin! open all of the doors one by one and push the door pin all of the way in....sometimes you need to adjust the door latch

I don't know unless the pump is bad. I have a 98 XLT that the front washer doesn't work but the back one does. So it's not the pump since the same pump is used for the front and back. It may be the switch, GEM, or a relay... but I'm not smart enough to troubleshooting.

Generally, if a car engine will not turn over without a jump start, the battery is not charged. Either the alternator is not charging it, or the battery has failed and will not hold a charge. Since you have replaced the alternator, that leaves the battery. You can have your battery tested at an auto parts store before buying a new one. It is also possible that there is something draining your battery while the engine is off. Coolant leaking from back? meaning exaust? If yes, then it's a head gasket or cracked head. Will not start because 2 or more sparkplugs are now wet with coolant.

Do you mean to say that it blows air still, but it's just outside temperature air? Or does it not blow any air?

If there's no air blowing at all, it's a bad blower motor. Check online for a new one, and bring it into the shop with you to have them install it. Otherwise, you're likely to get charged $500 for something you only really need to spend $150 for.

No. It is not an interface engine. Outside of a terminal internal failure, incorrect spark plugs, or a decked/shaved head (for performance), the pistons will not touch the head should your timing belt snap. IIRC, Ford service reccomends they be changed around 60,000 miles. I would also change the tensioner at the same time as it is an inexpensive part and is prone to failure over time. check out the Gates website, they have a check-engine on it..aslo everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at the library in the reference section--you can make copies of the necessary information...good luck :)

The 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier oil pressure sending unit can be found on the left-hand side of the engine. The oil pressure sending unit will be above the oil pan.

It's kindof tricky i just put a new starter in my 1986 2.0 cavalier rs your going to want some wheel ramps it's hard to work where the starter is located without them anyway in the very front bottom of the motor is the starter mine was in a tight spot the exaust pipe went around mine you will have some wires running from the seloniod and battery make sure that you don't get them mixed up there are two main bolts 15 mm i think and another going into a bracket at the other end disconnect the wiring pull the two main bolts and the bracket it's going to be a pain working around the exaust pipe I think there is a couple other wires you will have to disconnect to one is the ground wire that bolts onto the motor if your car don't start after installing the new starter clean up the connecter with some sand paper after pulling the starter out check the teeth on the new starter there supposed to line up a certain way or it will defenetly decrease the life of your new starter theres usually directions with a new starter if your putting in a usedone the best thing i can say is the starter teeth should have two teeth around the one tooth on the gear of the engine another thing to is you will probibly haveto put shims in with the starter your installing they come with a new starterif the starter your putting in is used keep the old shim from your old starterthe shim fits between the starter and engine where the two main bolts go in.

It's located behind the engine. There should be two hoses going to it; one thin one, and one thick one.

Front door speakers are 4" - 5"; answers I've been finding vary. Rear speakers are 4"X6", but all after-market speakers seem to require some modding of the mounting area. These answers are for the hatchback, BTW.

The trunk can only be opened with the key you use to unlock the doors with.
