Why does a ram air intake cause hesitation?
A ram air intake can cause hesitation due to changes in the air-fuel mixture and the intake air pressure. When the vehicle is moving at lower speeds, the intake may not generate sufficient air pressure, leading to an inconsistent air supply and potentially a lean mixture. This can result in hesitation or a lack of power during acceleration. Additionally, if the system is not properly tuned to handle the increased airflow at higher speeds, it may further exacerbate the issue.
Why does 94 integra have no spark?
A 1994 Acura Integra may have no spark due to several potential issues. Common causes include a faulty ignition coil, a malfunctioning distributor, or problems with the ignition control module. Additionally, issues with the crankshaft position sensor or wiring could prevent the spark from reaching the plugs. Checking these components systematically can help identify the root cause.
Where is the abs fuse in a 1992 Acura Integra?
In a 1992 Acura Integra, the ABS fuse is located in the under-hood fuse box. This fuse box is typically situated near the battery on the driver's side of the engine compartment. If you're experiencing issues with the ABS, checking this fuse is a good first step.
Can a 91 acura integra transmison fit in a 89 or 90 Honda Accord?
No, a 1991 Acura Integra transmission will not fit directly into a 1989 or 1990 Honda Accord. The two vehicles have different engine configurations and transmission mounting points, making them incompatible. Additionally, the transmission types and gear ratios are designed for their specific models, further complicating any potential fitment. Custom modifications would be necessary for such a swap.
How do you correct tie rod angle on a 96 acura integra after lowering the suspension?
To correct the tie rod angle on a 1996 Acura Integra after lowering the suspension, you should consider using adjustable tie rod ends or a bump steer kit. These components allow you to modify the tie rod's angle to ensure it remains parallel to the ground, reducing bump steer issues. Additionally, performing a proper wheel alignment after making these adjustments is essential to ensure optimal handling and tire wear. Always consult a professional if you're unsure about the installation process.
What is wrong if your Chrysler Sebring won't crank in the cold?
If your Chrysler Sebring won't crank in the cold, it could be due to a weak battery that struggles to provide sufficient power in low temperatures. Cold weather can also thicken engine oil, making it harder for the engine to turn over. Additionally, check the starter and ignition system, as they may also be affected by the cold. Lastly, ensure that all electrical connections are clean and secure, as corrosion can hinder performance.
1990 Acura Integra hood fit on a 92?
Yes, a 1990 Acura Integra hood can fit on a 1992 Acura Integra, as both models share a similar chassis design. However, slight differences in styling or mounting points may exist, so it's advisable to check compatibility before installation. Some modifications might be necessary to ensure a proper fit. Always verify with a professional or refer to specific compatibility guides for best results.
Well, honey, the vehicle speed sensor on a 1989 Acura Integra is located on the transmission. To test it when the ECU delivers a code 17, you'll need a multimeter to check the sensor's resistance and make sure it's within the manufacturer's specifications. If it's not, well, you might just have to replace the darn thing.

I own a 2003 Oldsmobile alero, and my steering was squeeking when moving at slow speeds, would happen mostly when you park. If you would sit still while parked and move the wheel you could also here it, and it sounded like it was coming from inside the car. It wasnt a loud noise, almost even more of a vibration. To make a long story short, it ended up being the power steering rack. Had it not been under warranty when I took it in, it would have been a very costly repair.

This happened to me in a car I used to have. My mechanic drilled two small holes on each side of the headlight glass/plastic. It took a while, but the moisture dissipated and didn't come back.
Why is your maitenance required light on in a 1994 Acura Integra?
Has your timing belt been changed? From what I understand, the car automatically turns on the light every 60,000 miles (the recommended interval between timing belt changes). I changed mine well after the light came on (it came on while the previous owner still had it) and the belt was long overdue. Also, when you do change it, you have to manually reset the light.
The clicking noise after letting go of the clutch in 1st gear could be due to a worn-out CV joint or axle. The clicking noise indicates that there may be damage to the joints or components, and continued driving in this condition could lead to more severe issues. It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic to diagnose the exact cause of the clicking noise and to prevent further damage.

Why will a car not turn over if there is power and the starter and alternator are new?
Internal combustion engines need 3 things to start and run: air, fuel, and spark. First look over all of your fuses, to make sure none of them such as the fuel pump fuse, or the fusable link have burned out. Make sure your battery is not faulty, even a brand new battery could potentially be no good. Check the voltage with your volt or multi meter, it should read around 12.5v. Inspect the cables to and from the battery and alternator, but sure they are properly installed. Check your air induction system, make sure the air filter is nice and clean, no blockages. If your vehicle is equipped with a MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) make sure it is plugged in correctly. Likewise if your vehicle is equipped with a MAP (manifold absolute pressure sensor) be sure that is plugged in correctly. Visually inspect the entire length of the intake piping, for loose clamps, cracked piping, or gaps. Once you have completed that if your vehicle has a distributor system, remove the distributor cap and replace it if necessary. If you see any visible damage to the spark plug wires, or the age of them is unknown replace them. Next check your spak plugs for the correct gap as recommended by the manufacturer, be sure they are in good shape before reinstalling them. If the vehicle still will not start, try replacing your fuel filter. This is usually inline, though in some cases it is in the fuel tank itself. Once that is completed turn the key to the accessory position, in most vehicles you should hear the fuel pump turn on and prime the lines for starting. If you do, you should be in good shape at this point.
