Just break through the window rip the wires out from under the steering wheel and cut all of them. The alarm should be temp disabled. Warning: You may get arressted. Caution: Free ride in Police Car.

You can do this by turnning your key forward, disconnect the battery cable, let it stay off for about 1 minute, hook it back up, and the alarm should be off for now and the car should start and stay started!!!

If it's the Hella system: Find the (black) fuse box under the bonnet in front of the battery. There's a separatly mounted flat fuse (apart from all the others). Remove the fuse and you're good to go. I think it's 30A.

It means your airbag probably will not deploy if you are in an accident. Have it checked out right away.

I found that fuse 25 had blown. (20 amp) (It controls the C/L) So I replaced it and the CL worked again, however the deadlocking and alarm didn't. The N/S rear door didn't open and was still deadlocked. After a short trip to Halfords to get some replacement fuses, the fuse blew again. So I guessed the CL mechanism was shot or there was a fault in the wiring leading to the rear door. So booked it in to a garage on Monday (after the fuse had blown twice more over the weekend). They found that the CL mechanism for that door had a fault in it, and was causing the fuse to blow. They ordered a replacement from Ford, fitted it and the car seems to be working fine now.

The 2001 Dodge Neon factory alarm system does not have a reset switch. Instead, you need to insert the key into the driver's door and turn to unlock the door. Next, turn the key clockwise to initiate the alarm and turn counterclockwise to stop the alarm. Once you stop the alarm, it will reset itself.

On my 2003 I can hold down on the drivers side lock until you hear a chime then a few seconds after you close the door it will lock and arm

You can be sure by getting in your car key in hand and put it in program mode to see if it has it for sure. Jump in close the drivers door and lock it with the electric door lock switch. Then insert your key in the ignition then pull it out several times in a semi rapid succession [ 1 sec in 1 sec out] After 7 to 15 times of this your hazard lights should flash on the dash. If they do you have keyless. If you do determine that . pick up some remotes and do it again except as soon as the lights flash turn the key to the on position [dont start the vehile. Then push any remote button. The lights should flash again. that remote is programmed. If you have more remotes simply unlock and lock the door with the electric switch in your drivers window switch panel. then hit any button on the next remote. Now that one is programmed. Jsut repeat that last process for any additional remotes up to 4.

The most common cause is that the rechargeable battery in the alarm siren is failing, giving a low voltage to the alarm system.

When the voltage from he battery drops below a certain level the alarm system thinks someone is trying to disable the alarm by disconnecting the battery.

As it thinks someone is trying to disable the alarm, it sets the alarm off.

you hold the two grey buttons at the same time beside the car wait for the light to go out then press the larger one twice that's it job done

Try locking then unlocking the drivers side door hold the key by the lock and press the lock button on the fob 5 times, failing that you need the eka 4-digit code which would be in your handbook, you then turn the lock clockwise and counter clockwise in the sequence of the eka code. Failing all this your Rover dealer will re-programme for around £30.00.

these cars are weird if you lock it you have to unlock it from the passenger side or it will not start you can not unlock it from driver side its weird try it

This can vary based on the type of alarm and manufacturer. Refer to the user manual for your alarm system to troubleshoot any possible problems with your alarm.

Do you have a security system? if so it may have a starter interupt. you would have to check the manufactures directions to reset it. the may have also cut your ignition wires to hot wire it

This is likely a sign that something is wrong with the system (which could cause it not to operate as designed!) Refer to your owner's manual or take the vehicle into a dealership for a diagnostic. Safe driving!

On most vauxhalls the secondary alarm unit is located behind the wheel arch liner on the nsf wheel well toward the rear of the front wing, on the frontera b it is held onto body with a metal frame unbolt frame (2 bolts) remove, enough to disconnect wiring, these alarm horn/sender units have internal back up batteries which around 5 years fail and causes false activations. removal of this unit still allows the immobilizer to function along with the primary alarm. hope this helps

Hi my name is jeff, on my 1985 corvette there is a little black box about the size of my hand with several wires going in2 it. this box is located on the passanger side by the ecm...i believe if you just unplug it that it will not effect anything else but the little light that says security when the door is open...on another note if you jiggle the key back and fourth really fast from the accesory on to start position wile the alarm is going of.. it starts!!!!!!!! that is on mine anyways lol

Not sure why you bothered to answer this. The asker wanted to disable the system, not simply silence an alarm that was going off.

Under the driver's seat is the unit that controls the security system. Under the carpet there is a module with a long plug. Pull that out and the security system is disabled.

The caveat is that you may lose your power door locks using this method.
