== == The GEM is located behind the radio. You can take out the radio with a pair of special tools that fit into the four small holes you will find on the face of the radio unit. Or, if you take out the two screws at the bottom of the whole dash facia (the black framing around the radio, A/C controls and two top A/C vents, you can carefully remove the entire unit. Behind this facia are the connections to various electronic controls (depending on the options your Explorer has). THIS HAPPEND TO ME .. IF YOU OPEN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR IN THE JAMB . LOOK FOR THE WIRE HARNESS THAT JOINS TO THE DOOR TO THE INSIDE DOOR JAMB, YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THAT HARNESS I THINK IT WAS A 6 OR 8 MM BOLT.. THAT HARNESS GETS PINCHED AND CAUSES A BREAK IN THE WIRING ,, VERY COMMON. EASY TO FIX ALSO...YOU CAN GET A GOOD ONE FROM A JUNK YARD FOR ABOUT 20 BUCKS.. SPIKED2U@AOL.COM

A blown fuse would cause the hazard lights not to work on the 1994 Ford F150. It could also be blown bulbs causing the lights not to work.

no if you wanna hook rcas up to it you'll have to hook up a line output converter

More than likely the tail light socket is to blame. Over time moisture causes corrosion to build up at the socket-bulb connection. Try carefully cleaning the socket, and inspect it for a short circuit.

Don't forget to check the license plate light or wiring for shorts. Also you can purchase a "short checker" device. This device has a heavy duty circuit breaker to install in place of the fuse. It repeatedly sets and resets 1-5 times a second, allowing current to flow. You then use the hand held amperage meter (included in the kit), to follow the wiring harness. As the circuit draws amperage because of the short, the meter needle moves wildly. When you pass the point of the short, the meter stops moving since there is no current flow after the short. Very effective at tracing a harness. If for instance the wiring harness goes to the left tail light first and then to the right tail light, if the left tail light is shorted, the meter will not move or read for the right tail light as you have passed the "SHORT" point.

In the fuse pannel. You will have two of them in there and one is for your emergancy flashers the other is for your turn signals.

you can use a tape measurer and measure center to center to set the tow caster and camber need to be aligned with a machine and your steering wheel will probably not be centered or shell out the 60$ and have it done professionally and they can set all 4 things

It's most likely programmed within one of the vehicles computers and not something physical that can be removed. Re-programming the computer may be the only method of defeating this safety device.

Wire a 12 volt bulb across the blown fuse. This can be done with a bulb and holder wired with two wires and two alligator clips in place of the fuse. The bulb should light showing the fault is present. Go round the car removing bulbs one at a time until the lamp goes out. That is your faulty bulb.If this does not find it you need to check for wire insulation touching the chassis through rubbing or melting.

The difference is 2 ohms.

Another difference is that the 2 ohm speaker will draw more power from a given amplifier than a 4 ohm speaker will draw. If the amplifier is not rated for two ohms, then the two ohm speaker may draw more than the amplifier's rated power, and the amplifier may be damaged as a result.

On my 01 Classic it's behind the panel in the truck in front of the shifter. You need a straight screw driver (big spring loaded screws). i believe all at the very top under the dash overhang and it will lift up and slide out after a few wiggles.

I assume you mean the side post batteries used typically by GM vehicles. There is a small bolt in the middle of the side post terminal. Remove the bolt and the cable will be disconnected. NOTE! Remove the negative tereminal first to reduce the potential for shorting out your tools and potentially burning you.

Open the rear hatch of the vehicle. At the edge of either brake light beside the hatch door weatherstrips are 2 plastic tabs. Pop each tab open with a flat head screwdriver to expose 2 brake light screws. Take these off, and the tail light comes rght out.

It will read 12.6 volts - thirty minutes after charging.

You can. Just don't have the gain turned up all the way and listen for distortion from the subwoofer. After you hook the amp up, turn the gain all the way down, turn the stereo up as loud as you can. At the point where the regular speakers start to distort, turn the volume down just to the point that the music is clear then slowly turn the gain up on the amp just to the point that the sub starts to distort then turn it down to the point it sounds clear with no distortion and you just balanced your system. You should never have a problem or hurt your sub.

A turn signal not working on a 92 Chevy Lumina may be out because of a burnt out bulb. If you replace the bulb and it is still not working, the turn signal switch may need to be replaced. You can get the switch replaced by a mechanic.

It gets hooked up like a switch would be. The main power wire goes to the positive side on the cap and a short power wire comes off of the positive side of the cap to go to the amp. Ground comes from car metal to the negative side of the cap and a short ground comes off of that negative to go to the negative on the amp.

There's no starter relay on the 1992 nisssan sentra, but there is a ignition relay which controls the starter and this should be located somewhere in the engine compartment where the relay box is

The turn signal flasher on a 2004 Ford Expedition is located on the driver's side just above and to the left of where the brake pedal is. Look for a small square box that has a three prong plug-in.

i an not 100% sure on this one, but i am pretty sure that under the bonette there is a black fuse box as is under my wife's corolla. there are fuses for interior lights and a few others. there is a diagramme showing which one does what, otherwise, near your feet kick panel just inside the front doors. . It's the "dome" fuse in the fuse box located under the hood. I had an electrical short in that harness and it caused the radio, clock, dome light, and the REAR RUNNING LIGHTS (?!?) to stop working. After replacing the fuse several times i fixed the problem by replacing the fuse with a self-resetting circuit breaker for less than $10. The only additional mod i needed was to allow for the addition necessary headroom required by the larger component.
