What car color goes with maroon?

That is strictly a matter of opinion. A good way of deciding what you like is by taking your car to an upholstery shop and asking them if they have some samples to look at and take them out to you car and look at it. Another way is go to an auto paint and trim shop and ask the same question. It will be your decision and you need to make sure it is right for you. A few suggestions would be black or dark gray, or a shade of red either darker or lighter. These colors compliment the maroon rather than clash or disappear. White looks good on many colors also.

If you are buying a brand new car you are left with what the manufacturer offers but they usually have a good selection of colors.

Can you free a frozen damper door without removing the dash?

very hard to do. are you sure the door is frozen? maybe the duct is electricaly controled, in which case you have to find out why the control is not working. dodges are famous for the heater control contacts burning up. maybe check that?

Damper/vent doors/actuators difficult and expensive to get to. I have a defroster vent on my 1999 Silverado 1500 that wont open. May be a bad actuator, stuck vent due to filth or an small foreign object that has fallen down inside the exhaust windshield vent. I thought the problem was the temp/fan control panel on the dashboard which I replace for $149.00. I was wrong. Tried looking underneath the dahsboard to see if I could find problem. No way. Went to dealer. They want $180.00 to troubleshoot. Cost could soar up to $900.00 due to removal of instrument panel to correct problem. This cost assured because knowledge of the related problem with my type and year of truck. There is no easy way to see what is wrong due to compactness of components underneath the dash. I checked out other service centers, and basically the same.

If anyone has had experience in removing a dash and correcting my problem, I would like to see there suggestion on this site.

How do you fix dashboard lights on a Volkswagen T25?

It's quite easy to do IF you can find spare bulbs. the dash hood is simple to remove. It's clipped on along the edge nearest the windscreen and should lift without difficulty. Underneath this there's a plastic protective sheet and beneath that is the circuit board. the dashboard lights are small bulbs which are attached in housings here. You simply remove them by twisting them 90 degrees and replace with a new bulb. (The bulb casing is hexagonal and you cannot fit a circular one into the same hole, so check that your replacement is exactly the same as the one you removed)

How do you install an aftermarket CD player in a 2001 Pontiac gran prix?

First your going to need a wire harness and an installation kit that you can pick up from any audio store. Just make sure that it is the right kit your best bet would be to ask a sales as. which one is correct. Then there are a few tuts. on the internet on how to take the dash off. The other thing you will have to watch out for is if your audio system is already Bose you will more than likely have to have the WHOLE audio system rewired because of the factory AMP. Bose runs at 2ohms and almost all others run at 4ohms. My problem with this is that the front driver side would play 10x louder than all the other speakers. that is where a good local audio store comes in handy. They would do the whole process in about 2 hrs and for approx. $100. but if it is Bose and rewiring is involved more like $150 - $200 for install alone.
