Have the dealer or other service tech do it for you. You have to REMOVE the band-clamped duct to access the filter housing(if it's the same as a 2002). Then you have to try and get it back on! I just attempted this yesterday and what a knuckle-buster it turned out to be. One part of the duct has an out-of-view tab that needs to be correctly re-inserted and I also had major trouble re-installing duct connection to filter housing. I will never attempt this again. Worst filter exerience I have ever had. Will have service tech check this out as I am uneasy that I have reclamped duct back to housing securely. Not worth the time spent or money saved.
Its really not that bad :) It can be a pain in the A but it can be done. I was able to undo the top clips and pull it away enough to slide the filter down in there. IT can be difficult to some and easy for others. Just be sure to get it put back together correctly. doesnt hurt to try it once, might be glad to save the 20 bucks from the repair place or make you willing to spend it. Good luck :) Answer 3 I just did this. My hands are still dirty while i am typing this. This is not too painful of a job. The air filter box cover has to swivel up, out and off at the top of the duct. The complete ducting and MAF stayed connected to the airbox cover. Be sure to keep old filter buried in its place so that it does not get in the way of swivelling up the air box cover. 1- Disconnect two electrical connectors to MAF and upper duct. Disconnect vacuum like hose at top of duct. (it pops up) 2- Loosen top duct clamp. I loosened the other two also, even though it may not be needed. 3- Compress the ducting while twisting the airbox cover up. At this point mine just popped off. 4- Swap the filter. 5- Reverse order, reconnect wires and hose. Start car to check for leaks. Ta-Daa!

Hi there i seem to have the same problem since I got the 5.9 magnum durango I been saving some gas by not using the piece of 5h1t and using my girlfriend´s maxima maybe you can do the same or by getting a bike. Assuming everything is running OK, you can change your driving habits by driving slower on freeway (55-65mph), accelerating slower, leaving more slack space between vehicles during heavy traffic to avoid constant brake & accelerate cycles. Ensure tires are filled to max allowable (reduces rolling friction). Better grade spark plugs will ensure more complete burning of fuel and liberation of more energy to transfer to drive train. Avoid high traffic time periods, plan trips for late evenings or early mornings, utilize cruise control to maintain 55-65 mph.

If this happens at certain speeds an easy check would be to rotate the tires front to back to see if they are out of balance, bent rim, out of round tire or combination of such. Adjust tire air pressure to the proper setting on the drivers door sticker or owners manual. Also a very loose front end or wheel bearing might cause that. Jack up one front wheel so it doesn't touch the ground and leave the other wheel on the ground then grab the raised wheel and try to wobble it left to right and top to bottom then spin it and watch for unusual rotation, do not shake the vehicle off of the jack! There should be very little movement if any and no clicking or popping noises. You are testing to see if one wheel moves independent of the other...they should not. Try this on both sides and compare your results. I.E. The left wheel bearing might be good while the right wheel bearing is loose or damaged and you would not know this unless you test both sides.

When I was driving semi, we were required to use headlights any time the truck was moving. Statistically, you are safer when you have your lights on because you are more visible to other motorists.

Use your best judgment. Defaulting to being MORE safe is never a bad thing.

You dont adjust the tension on a serpentine belt, Dodge uses a spring loaded tensioner located just below the alternator, If your belt is loose it is either worn, the wrong size belt or your tensioner has frozen and not moving. If it is a brand new belt I would suggest making sure the correct one was given to you from the auto parts store. If the belt has been on the vehicle for an extended period of time I would suggest replacing it.

You pop the dash out ,, Then you take the top cover off and push down the metal tab that is stoping the CD from playing right..Put it all back together again and it should work fine after that cause mine is working great.. good luck..

Well if it helps, I have a 1996 2.0L 16 Valve 4 cylinder engine. If you jack the car up in front, and get under it, you should see the oil pan almost directly under the engine, but slightly towards the passenger side. When the pan is located, you should see a screw towards the back and bottom of the pan. Loosen the screw, but have a pan to catch the oil ready. Once the oil starts to run out, keep unscrewing until the screw is all the way removed. Give it a few minutes to drain, then unscrew the oil filter, if you are changing it, and dump it's contents into the dirty oil and then put it in the box of the new one and dispose of it. When the oil is all drained and down to about a drip, wipe off the oil pan's screw and replace it into the back of the oil pan. Then, apply a slight amount of new oil around the rubber gasket of the new oil filter, and install it, appling about 10 to 15 pounds of pressure to it after it is snug. Once the screw is reinstalled and the new filter is in place, you can comense adding the new oil into the engine. Mine takes about 4 quarts, but amount may vary depending on the engine size and the amount of time alloted to the pan to drain. Once you are all done, check the dip stick to ensure you have added the proper amount of oil and watch under the car for a few days to make sure there are no leaks. the heater blower is located under the dash on the passenger side. easy to change ,4 skrews.

Gently pull from inside the steering wheel column. It only has clips. They pop right off.

If it has the factory tow package there is a blue plug under the left side of the dash. It should be all the way to the left up against the firewall. If the blue plug is there the dealer can sell you the matching plug if you do not have it. If the plug is not there, you will have to run your own wires to the rear.

Antifreeze in your oil is symptomatic of a blown head gasket. If your head gasket is blown you may have warped your head ( and possibly cracked it ). The fix for this is to remove the head and take it to a machine shop and to replace it along with a new head gasket.

It should be 5 quarts of oil. Check the dipstick before starting the motor. Should be over the full line until starting. Run it alittle, let it cool and check again. Owner's manual covers this also. P.S. Its 350 cubic inches, not 350 h.p. 95's have about 275 h.p. new.

This would be the best way. Remove top plastic fan shield 4 bolts, remove fan assy(you may have to get special tooling) remove top bar holding Alt. air Comp. move this unit out of the way(left top would be best) remove water pump, IMP> mark were all bolts go, as a serious problem could happen if you put long bolts back were they are not suppose to be. remove damper & pulley 1 1/4" bolt. Your case housing should be free to remove, 3 stud bolts & 1 regular bolt with 2 on bottom of unit. your timing chain should be available to work on. Have fun and patience ,,,

On that truck you do not have an orifice tube but what you do have is called an expansion block or also known as an H-valve and there are two if you have a dual a/c system..........
