move the trunk liner where the tail lights are.
you'll see 2 plastic screws. unscrew them.
there is a 3rd screw, you have to reach up to it, its towards the top corner of whatever side you're on.
disconnect the wiring

Hi, I seem to recall the fuel filter being under the fuel tank but a little further towards the engine. If you go under the car you can see the fuel lines route and you will find it. Its just that i remember seeing it when i was under the car sorting out the handrake cable.

i can not locate the flasher fuse for my 1999 dodge intrepid. pep boys were NO help in locateing it. Turn signal fuse is fuse is slot #9 (driver side fuse panel). There is another fuse in the engine compartment large 20 amp fuse. Flasher is located above brake pedal to the left.

2. Had same problem intermittently with '98 2.7 litre about 3 years ago. You shut engine off when warm - would not start until cooled down (one hour or more). Dealer could not find trouble code as car did not do this when i took in in for repair. I had fuel pump replaced anyway as was noisy at the time but this problem did not go away.
Obviously now had fuel but no spark so started working back from coil packs. I replaced ASD relay in engine compartment fuse block (about 12 bucks) - no problem ever since.

there could be to problems the lines vcould be airlocked or there isnot enought coolant in Bad water pump. Incorrect thermostat or installed upside down. Spring goes toward engine. Cooling fan not working due to blown fuse, bad fan motor, or defective thermal relay. And possibly air in the system. Bleed the system by using bleeder valves if equipped or by jacking up the front of the car, and removing the radiator car,(Engine Cold), start the engine and let it run until no more air escapes. Keep it full.
