The IAT sensor for the second generation N/A(non turbo) 2.0L is the second port on the back of the intake manifold from the driverside, turbo versions have it in the air intake tubing before the throttle body. 1st gens and 3rd gens are usually around the same spot, either in the intake manifold or in the ducted work of the intake... hope i helped

When your looking at the motor it will be the first one next to the pulleys.

there is a radiator plug on the bottom passenger side of the radiatior, take that out and flush from the radiator cap.

Could be the timing, I have a 96 and a 95, when my 96 done that, i thought it was fuel filter or something of the sort, but it was that it had jumped time. Might be that your transmission is slipping... It happened with my '02 Galant.

You would have to check for leaks, and may even replace the transmission fluid.

spark plugs and wires may need to be changed, try that first You might need a new fuel filter, because the one you haave might be dirty

When my eclipse told me I needed this part it was actually my cataltic converter having the issues not the little purge valve these I have been told are very rare to go out and so I would check that before spending cash on this part!

Buy a gsx and sell the gs would be the best. or try and find a wreaked gsx with all the important parts intact and swap it over

Position the wheels in the straight ahead position, then turn the ignition to the LOCK position. Disconnect the negative battery cable. If equipped with SRS, wrap the negative cable with insulated tape and wait at least 60 seconds before continuing the procedure, in order to allow the air bag system time to disarm. Remove the steering wheel. Remove the hood lock release lever from the lower panel. Remove the lower instrument panel knee protector. Remove the upper and lower steering column cover. Remove the clip that holds the wiring against the steering column. Remove the key reminder switch, if equipped. Unplug the ignition switch from the steering lock cylinder and remove. Insert the key into the steering lock cylinder and turn to the ACC position. With a small cross-tip screwdriver, push the lock pin of the steering lock cylinder inward and then pull the lock cylinder out towards you. When equipped with automatic transaxle, the vehicles have safety-lock systems and will have a key interlock cable installed in a slide lever on the side of the key cylinder. Carefully unhook the interlock cable from the lock cylinder while withdrawing cylinder from lock housing.

I had the exact same problem with my 91 stealth R/T non turbo. it turned out that the alternator was shot. it only costlike 100 to fix and now it runs like new.

Passenger side or driver side? BClear. The low beam is built into the same bulb as the high beam. Just pull the bulb out from behind the housing under the hood and replace it. If the low beam doesnt work you have to replace the whole bulb. They're not very expensive.

There is no repairing the door handle it if it breaks ... it must be replaced. I just had to do it. The part is a little over $100 from Mitsu and it only comes in black. I pulled one off a junked car for $10 and had a body shop paint and install it for another $60. Haynes book explains installation/removal procudure. This guy is right, you can't fix it, and you do have to replace the handle. The first time I mine broke I did get it at the dealer for just a little over $100, and then the passenger side broke. I found this place that you can order it online, it's a lot cheaper than going to the dealer to get it. It runs about $20 new or you can get both sides for $35.. It's a better deal than going to the dealer or going to the junk yard and taking a chance that the one you get there will break in a year or so. The light is on because there is a problem. Bring it in and get it looked at. That SRS could save your life someday.

Pull the yellow box up to loosen both fuses at once, after this the fuses are only held in by the tabs inside of the yellow 'fuse holder'

why not specify what kind of transmission and what year and if stock, like my dsm its a 1992 AWD GSX stock.. maybe that can get this question moving in the right direction.

You are going to need a 10mm socket for the coil packs, a 5/8" spark plug socket for the plugs, and a 6" locking extension would be most helpful. I prefer to use NGK Iridium IX plugs, they're about $7 ea. but worth it in my opinion. Make sure the engine is cool and don't over-torque the plugs, snug is good enough. Specifications for torque can be found on the spark plug box (or inside it). You should probably buy either the factory service manual or a chilton or haynes repair book if youre going to be doing much of your own work. - bg - ase cert mech -

The side marker removal is using a flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off from the side.

There are two types, ISO for Chrysler and some Japanese, and the other one for all the others like Ford and GM. There are several that are both, that is the kind you want. Be sure to email the eBay seller and ask if it is used with your year and model. (1996 was a changeover year for OBDII technology, so this advice may not apply to everybody--but the dealer service guy can tell you over the phone--ask him if it is OBDII compliant.) When you get it, you just plug it in and let it cycle 4 or 5 times and it resets everything. You then have to drive your car for 50 to 100 miles for the onboard computer to test everything, and in the meantime your car will fail smog checks because it has no history in the computer and the smog test procedure demands a history even if there is no pollution.
