under the rear side. Use a fuse tester (or just pull and look). Its not marked as hands free control

In most situations like this, there is an "Inertia Switch" to shut off the fuel supply to avoid a posswible fire if the fuel supply is ruptured. You must reset the switch to restore the fuel supply. This switch can be located in the trunk area...and sometimes under the dash. This information for a specific vehicle should be located in the owners manual! TedG

There is a special tool needed to back in the self-adjuster nut in the center of the wheel hub assembly. This nut has to be backed in so that you can slide open the caliper sufficiently to be able to remove the old brake pads and install new ones. The nut is embossed with a shape like an hour glass (as opposed to, say, a Phillips or slot shape). The tool will snap into a 3/8" socket driver and with this, will then fit into the grooves to permit you to turn and back in the nut. In Canada, I found a multi-tool that did the job at PartSource. It was under $10. Ask at any reputable auto parts supplier - they should have it. (Note: If you take your time and are patient, you can also use a pair of needle-nose pliers--open them slightly and put them on either side of the narrow part of the hour glass and slowly twist counter-clockwise to release the piston. You have to turn it several full rotations, so be patient)

it's in the fuel tank but if your remove the carpet in the trunk there is an access panel in the front right corner.

There are many, many sensors in this and all of todays cars. Sensors for engine control and monitoring, ABS, Airbag, traction control, suspension, A/C, etc.

Try disconnecting the neg side of the battery to reset the computer. If this does not work you probably have a bad low coolant sensor which is located just aft of the thermostat housing. you can pick one of those up at any auto parts store for under 20 dollars

If the 1996 Olds Aurora will not start and there is a clicking noise from under the front panel, check the starter. The clicking noise is probably from the starter solenoid.
